I was in the midst of packing and planning my Palm Springs girl trip when it dawned on me, I need to get a pedi asap! I walked less than a block to Chérie from my apartment with my gargoyle feet and to my surprise I was the only client. I didn't have to wait and got incredible service right away from the lovely Miss. Linda! She immediately began to work on my gel mani while Valinda had the awful task of scrubbing my feet down and getting them back to pristine condition. The best part was the added hand done nail art by Linda herself. She carefully created two tropical flowers on each hand reminiscent of 90s nail art. She took me back to those fun times, it was very nostalgic. The business itself is very clean and cute! I highly recommend this nail salon for all your mani pedi needs :) read more

This place was closed to my work so I tried them out to get a pedicure on my lunch break and I will continue to go back! They are really easy to get to, there is plenty of metered street parking and I don't ever even call ahead to make an appointment and they always take me with no wait. They have a bathroom in the back you can use, if needed. They are very thorough with my toes and always do a wonderful job! I have problematic toenails at times and they don't make me feel bad and just go to work! Great process and wonderful value. Very nice people as well. Check them out!! read more

They cost $60 and they looked pretty.. for 2 days before one popped off... then the next... then the next... Now its been 5 days since I got these done and only have 4 nails left. This is my favorite go to nail shop in DTLB!! The owners are really sweet and I get great service every time I come. I normally do walk-ins and the wait time has always been less than 10-15 minutes. On top of that, their prices are really good. I normally get an acrylic fill and pedicure for less than $100. The owner typically does my set and he's very attentive and precise. I had such a great experience at Cherie salon yesterday, everyone was extremely kind and friendly. I took forever to pick out my manicure color because I can never make up my mind and they waited so patiently and didn't rush me at all, and had no problem when I changed my mind again (before painting luckily). Linda removed my old GelX from another salon, refreshed all my cuticles like I've never had before, gave me a fresh super cute Gel manicure, and even a free flower because she saw I had one before. I have been going to this nail salon for 2 years. They have been ok not the best but I liked the people there until Today. I was serviced by 2 new techs that I haven't met. I haven't been there for a few months. The first issue I had was that they didn't give me a the Gel colors to choose from BEFORE they started working on my hands and feet so of course when she hands me the basket, she also has one of my hands that she's working on so it's basically impossible to go through the basket in my lap because my arm is across my lap in her hand. Just uncomfortable so I wait. I choose a color and I can tell while she's doing my nails that the bottle seems to be almost empty. The lady doing my toes goes to look for more polish because I want my hands and toes to match for a wedding I'm officiating tomorrow and doesn't find any and although I don't speak the language, I'm not stupid. I see the other tech go over to help her look for the color I requested and she didn't find it so she comes back and when starts on my toes she uses a creamy basecoat which makes sense because I had a sparkly color so a basecoat would help it POP especially if you're running low on the polish the only issue is the chick that did my Nails DIDN'T USE THE SAME BASECOAT SO THE COLOR LOOKS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. When I mention this, the daughter that usually answers the phone comes over and says No, we're not low on polish (with a ATTITUDE) the colors look different because YOUR TOENAILS ARE DARKER THAN YOUR NAILS. GASLIGHTING 101! For Real. I looked at her like she just grew 8000 eyeballs out of her forehead because SERIOUSLY are you kidding me???! I've been a loyal customer for 2 years.. don't talk to me like I'm a dumbass. That was the moment I KNEW I would Never come back here. It was ridiculous. When I point out NO SHE USED A CREAMY BASECOAT SO THEY DON'T MATCH. She basically walks away to deal with another client while they continue to talk about me in their language. I tell them FINE leave it alone and instead she starts taking it off at which point I say What are you doing just leave it!! What they SHOULD have done was repaint my NAILS with the same basecoat that she used on my toes so they would match but the daughter was already working on another client and the chick that did my nails was working on a walk-in. It was so ANNOYING. Spending $70 to get your nails done is a TOTAL Luxury and I realize it is a 1st world problem but when that Luxury gets taken away from you by bad service, I just can't let it slide. PISSES ME OFF. Mind you the whole room looks uncomfortable cuz I'm PISSED but I paid my $70 I DID NOT TIP FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER. I WILL NEVER GIVE THIS PLACE ANOTHER DIME. Also the lady that did my feet washed my flip flops in the basin WITH MY FEET which I did not Understand WHY YOU WOULD WASH MY SHOES THAT I WALK OUTSIDE WITH AND MY FEET IN THE SAME TUB OF WATER. IT WAS SO WEIRD AND GROSS. And to the daughter if you're reading this... just because we don't speak your language doesn't mean we don't know you're talking shit. Do Better. read more

I really enjoy going to this salon. It's a small family owned business with a very sweet and humble atmosphere. They're very accommodating taking appointments and walkins even though they don't have a large location or a large staff. Their prices are very reasonable and their services are really good. If you're not satisfied with something that they've done they ask that you let them know as soon as possible so they can fix it. Absolutely REFUSING to allow them to fix a problem will not make for a good situation or outcome. I had a random nail break this morning and they accommodated me as a walk in right away. Walking distance from my place and they wax and do lash extensions as well. I'm always happy when I come in and even happier when I leave. read more

This is the best little nail gem in downtown LBC! It's a family run business which gives it such a pleasant atmosphere with excellent customer services and great prices. They also take their time to ensure they do a quality job. I do hair so it's hard to get my acrylics to last a good while. So far these are the longest lasting, which means they use great product, and I have never had one break or loosen which is a first! They are highly skilled so you don't have to worry about your cuticles being cut, nipped, or injured which has also been a problem for me in the past. Who wants to leave bleeding?! The shape and look are always very nice and natural looking as well. Here in this pic my service is almost a week old! Pedis, and waxing are also great hear and can't wait to try the lashes. Oh nooooooo never again!!!! They were very rude and told my daughter they were busy all day with 3 people sitting doing nothing just a week before because she was dressed down like a bum I'm assuming. Instead of me taking that as a sign I went anyway because it's directly downstairs and I needed to get a manicure that day. I felt like a 10 year old little boy did my nails my manicure and it was rushed, so rushed that I was done before the girl sitting to my right getting a gel manicure and he started polishing her nails when I sat down. Secondly she kept turning the nail filer machine on high laughing about it ohhhhh andI forgot my cuticles ARE NOT cut properly and she drew blood twice and wold me I had sensitive fingers o_0. Third when she applied the polish I cringed and told her this was unacceptable and I showed the younger girl who talked for 3 secs while holding my nails pointing and all she did was applied another coat of polish. I told her to add the glitter on top to take the distraction away from the horrible job she did and only because I needed them done right then. To ease the tension I asked about the $80 lashes that the young lady apply jand I was told very rudely "oh, they may not be what you are looking for" I asked again can I see the lashes and make that decisions myself so the young girl brought the lashes out and I asked are they real she said no they're synthetic individuals for "starting at $80" now she may do a bomb job but with the customer service I received Ummmmm It's a NO for me dawg! As soon I left not even 30 mins later 2 of my nails begin to peel and by day 3 all were cracked. Oh and I got my nails done on Monday the pics taken of my nails are from today is the following Sunday! read more

Do not get waxed from here. This is the second time I got my lipped wax and they have ripped skin from my face. I should have not came back.But my friend wanted to get her eyelashes done. It's a shame how these people are so aggressive with there lip waxing. I try to tell them the wax is too hot or they are pounding my face like they are trying to beat me. I told the owner that she needs to change her wax or her estheticians. They just looked at me and said nothing. Do not come here.I have never got my nails done here because I see there work. I didn't trust them to do my nails. The first waxing went fine. When they had someone else now I have these two stupid estheticians that ripped your damn skin.
