I've never written a negative review of any place before. I don't like being a reason people lose business. However, my experience at this spa is beyond what I'm willing to let go. PLEASE do NOT use this nail spa. I was a regular customer for months. I received mani/pedis that were okay-- not the best but not the worst. It was convenient (2 miles from home), so I went. Before a trip I had gel polish removed. The technician used a tool that ground my nails so thin they hurt and the nail beds continue to look horrible as my nails grow out. I decided never to return, but they continued sending computer generated messages asking why I hadn't been back. Although I hate confrontation, I stopped by to tell them, thinking they might want to know the details in order to improve and give them a chance to regain my business. They first told me they couldn't have done the damage I showed them because looking at the growth they could tell it happened too long ago (questioning my honesty as if I would make this up). I said it was a while back (before my July trip) and asked them to check my appointments. They used my phone number to look up my record and said there was no evidence I was ever in their shop (calling me a liar again). I showed them the appointment confirmations on my phone. They then changed their argument saying, "Okay but it's been 3 months so how do we know you haven't been somewhere else?" I answered, "You said the damage was done at least 3 months ago and here's the record showing I was a regular customer then." So after questioning my honesty a 3rd time, they changed their approach yet again to, "Why didn't you come in before?" I said that I hated confrontation but thought they'd want to know." I also thought they'd want to attempt (at their own expense) to rectify the situation. Instead they said, "Fine, I respect you told us, but we're not doing anything about it now." The girl at the counter said, "I'm sorry it happened and I'm sorry your nails look terrible, but we're not giving you any free services." They did nothing to make things right--not even a discount. I'm sure there are some good technicians at this spa, but the customer service is abysmal. And there are obviously some technicians there who have no clue what they're doing because they ruined my nails. Choose a better place!! I made an appointment by phone for later the same day and requested a technician I had previously been pleased with. I got a chipper "see you at two" when I booked the appointment. When I arrived 5 minutes prior to my appointment time, I was told that the technician no longer works there and it would be at least 30-45 minutes before they could get me in. The gentleman at the desk said "you can see we are very busy." Of course that's why I made an appointment instead of walking in. I'll try another salon and I hope to find one that is more courteous with my time. read more

I was excited walking in, and didn't expect it to look so nice. However the chemical smell is much stronger than most salons. The 3 of us each got a $50 "rejuvenating pedicure" that included scrubs and other extras. The polished turned ok and the massage chair was a good one. Everything else was below average to other places. Even when leaving I could still reach down and pick dead skin off my feet. There really was no foot rub (which is listed). One of my friends commented that they briefly squeezed the towel instead of their feet and it was the entire rub. My feet are still covered in easy to remove dead skin and based on other pedicures is really the worst outcome of any place I have been to in the last 10 years. No complimentary beverages were offered - at the end I saw it listed on the 'menu'. I am very sad at how much I tipped them out of default and have been thinking about it for the last few days. read more

Not a fan at all! Went there for an SNS powder manicure and was totally shocked that they used UV light at the end of the manicure. This is a big no no and if a nail salon did this in a bigger city it would be out of business. The crazy thing is their pamphlet at the front counter says no UV used with SNS product. The powder they did apply was super thick and almost looked like they were mixing the SNS powder with some other product to make it last longer. Apparently SNS powder is fairly expensive and sometimes nail salons do this. The reason I think they do mix it is I got a French manicure and it looked all bubbly vs a nice clean coat. Don't waste your money on this place. They definitely aren't trained in SNS powder manicures. read more

I don't know why this salon has such a low rating. I had the best pedicure of my life here. The tech was very sweet and took care of me. I got the pedi in a box pedicure that cost 48$. I also had gel polish on my toes and got them redone which cost an extra 20$. The message was AMAZING. I didn't get not one but three hot towels at the end of my pedi. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because my toes were shaped perfectly before I came in and it didn't come out how I wanted it to be. The gel polish wasn't the worst I've had but i've has better. I still love the place and the pedi. They used a pedi liner, which I was very adamant on. The place was very modern and had a very big selection of colors. Would be recommending to others. read more

First time here - wish I would have checked reviews. Pretty cold service - manicure was crazy bad. He clipped my nails, sorta files them, got cold water in a bowl - nothing added to bowl or any cuticle cream to my nails. Put my hands in, immediately took one hand out and half way pushed and trimmed cuticles. On other hand, he only touched the cuticle pusher to the nail like a tap. Polish looks good, but I won't be back. It was not busy, I was only customer. Although they didn't clean the station I was at and another person came in and sat where I had been. read more

HORRIBLE, I am extremely disappointed and will not be back- I went to this salon before the quarantine and was happy with my manicure. I took my best friend from out of town this week and was expecting a great experience. I have never been more disappointed in the quality of service. We each went for a deluxe pedicure but more time was spent on my legs than my feet or toes. I had to go home and scrub my feet and cut my nails. My friend had to redo her toes completely. This is after we nicely requested they be fixed. A scene was made before they redo the pedi they did not complete with the quality they insist on having. The manicures turned out the same. This review is from an experience right before the temporary closures related to Covid. Two of the three times I have been here have been a negative experience. Once they gave me a dip manicure where 8/10 nails had cracked by one week later. They gave me a discount on the next visit so I came back. Last time I came was really odd where they kept trying to convince me not to get a French manicure and gave me "sculpting gel" with gel polish on top (the place that did my nails the next time was very confused by this). Admittedly the manicure looked good and lasted a long time. But I got a pedicure at the same time which looked terrible and I came in the next day to get it fixed (they had put my socks back on by the time my manicure was done so I didn't get a good look at my toenails). They told me I would have to wait an hour for a "five minute fix" because they had other customers to see first. I was really unhappy about that because I'd spent over 3 hours in the salon the night before, my bill was triple digits, and I have always tipped over 20% there. I don't want to wait an hour to be seen for 5 minutes after all of that time and money in the first place. I repeatedly tried to contact the owner about this, to which I get canned autoresponses and no call backs so now I am leaving this review instead. read more

I'm not sure why the ratings are so horrible, but I'm very satisfied with the neatness and precision of my dip manicure. My nail artist was detail oriented, efficient, and very professional. My only complaint is that the workers present were not very welcoming. No one spoke to me during my visit except to ask my color choice, if I wanted water, and when I payed. I think the staff needs to improve their friendliness and work harder to make their clients feel comfortable. Overall, I will definitely return because of the perfect dip manicure. read more

Went in today for pedicure with a friend. My pedicure was finished in 15 minutes & was totally rushed. It looked like a 3 year old painted my toes & went I asked them to fix my big toe where they messed up I was told "it was not a major deal" and it would be fine. So unprofessional. 40 dollars later & my nails look awful. This is where I normally come to get my nails done but I will not be back after this experience. read more

Worst salon experience I have ever had. This salon has such potential but was a major disappointment. My friend and I had appointment for mani/pedi and a brow tint. Both of us got the worst pedicures and manicures ever. We upgraded to the deluxe packages as well. No cuticle treatment, no nail filing, and the paint was messy. The leg/foot mask was also not washed off properly so I had it caked on my feet and legs. My technician (blonde girl, never got her name) finished as quickly as she could and then sat down across the room to have her nails done!!!! I asked several times about the brow appointment I had and she simply ignored. I then went to the manager to quietly ask for a wet towel to wipe my legs off and for someone to repaint my nails, she then grabs my technician who was getting her nails done at that point and they start to argue with my friend and I that the treatment was great, it was embarrassing and awkward. They then repainted my toes but still didn't file or anything and we were so upset by the end neither of us even bother trying to get our hands re-done. I still never was able to get the mask off my legs or get my eyebrows done! I would recommend literally any other salon in town over this one. Bad pedi/mani is one thing but bad customer service on top of that is a dealbreaker. read more

I wouldn't go back again. I went in for a manicure that wasn't done well at all. The manicurist offered for me to come back the next day to fix it, which is nice, but really shouldn't be necessary. Between color issues and too many coat applications, it wasn't a great experience. The place was clean and prices are reasonable though. read more

The first 3 times i went here my nails looked great... The last two times I've gone, ive been very disappointed.. the first time, my acrylic nail broke off when i hit it on my car door the same day... i went back and they told me "too bad". I understand had it been something i did, but hitting my nail as lightly as i did should not have broken it... the last time i went, i waited over an hour and a half for dip polish. I usually don't do this but I have tried to give this place chance after chance. Never again. They're rude and in a hurry, my nails always look horrible when I leave. Last time they messed them up so bad I was offered a 15% discount the next time. Went back again to try it and just like the first time the lady rushed, literally took maybe 10 mins at the most and it shows. If you want someone to take their time on your nails and really do a decent job, I would not suggest going here in any shape or form. Not a fan of Cha Nail Spa. My first visit to the Spa for a pedicure and manicure. I was not impressed with the timer!!!! What's that supposed to say? I spent $88.00 for an hour and half experience with a technician who definitely could not understand English! He was thorough with his job, however I never got my manicure, because, after an hour and a half, I had to get back to work! I have had manicures and pedicures from Hawaii to New Zealand, Germany, Ireland, California, (Santa Cruz and San Francisco) and I have never had to pay such an amount! I never got my manicure either? I am sorry I went here. I won't be back. There are too many other Nail Spas in Chattanooga and I am sure they will treat me better. read more

This has been one of the worst experiences at a nail salon I've ever had. First of all, the sign in front of the store front says "Natural Nail Spa" and there is NOTHING natural about the place except they carry one line of "natural" polishes that they charge $3 extra for. They do not use natural base coat or top coat either even though they charge $3 for this "natural" polish. Also the polish I chose from the sample board ended up looking 3 shades lighter on my nails and they refused to acknowledge that it looked different from the sample. Secondly, the service is terrible. They are extremely rude and un-accommodating. They did absolutely nothing for the dead skin on my feet, they barley massaged, and the polish was all over the skin on my fingers and toes when they finished. I've actually been twice because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but it was worse the second time. I would never recommend anyone to go here. I believe they are owned by Nail Bar, which is a chain of very average nail salons in Chattanooga. I've never had a great experience at any of their locations. Needless to say, I will not be back and o truly hope no one that reads this will waste their time and money at this place. read more
