I've been coming to this nail salon for several years now. This review is over due. This salon is nice, clean and located in a great location. The ladies that work here are the sweetest and very friendly. They make you feel so welcome and do their very best to accommodate your needs. A few of my favorites are Jessica, Kim and Lilly. However, they are all Great!!

Call and they were able to get me in as a walk in. Gel-X Small intimate setting. The ladies were very clean, neat and detailed.

Jessica at Cha Nails and Spa executes the perfect nail set for me every time. The entire staff are amazing and take their craft serious. My experience is always a 10/10

I spent some of Father's Day in Cha Nails on San Felipe. Never before have I had such an amazing experience Kate, Jessica and the team are so attentive to your needs and make you feel like a King for a few hours. Come here if you'd like a rush job with a side of disrespect. I decided to try this place because it's close to my apartment. I went for a pedi $55 and a powder fullset (medium size) for $50 and was charged $127!!! No explanation why. When the woman began working on my toes, she made a nasty comment to me saying my toes were "too much work". She said it twice. It was extremely disrespectful and I couldnt believe she said that! SORRY FOR BRINGING MONEY TO YOUR ESTABLISHMENT. A male client walked in and told them he was in a rush and needed a mani-pedi quickly. The front desk lady came to the woman doing my nails told her something and then she began to rush my nails. It feels like they value certain clients over others. They also do not use new and enclosed tools. I am never coming back here! Horrible experience. read more

Deserves 10 stars ********** From the pillows and complimentary drink to knowing my name when I walk in the door, this nail salon has the best customer service, ambiance, and attention to detail you couldn't even dream of. If you're lookin for a specialized nailtician, Mary is absolutely fantastic + does an exceptional job every single time. The pedicure packages are expensive and have anything from hot stone massages to wraps. They were both great and I really appreciate that Kelly took my vision and made it come to life. I've been wanting almond shape nails and have been growing my natural ones out to accomplish. Also, I wasn't aware but apparently you can walk in and just say "just paint my toes", you don't have to pick one of the services from the menu? (I didn't know this but feel like that should be public knowledge). With all this and the quality coming out not the cleanest, I would not recommend this location.

My nails felt light and natural, but durable. Tam wasn't pushy with her recommendations either, and I appreciate being educated on better ways to maintain my nails. Another thing I noticed was how welcoming all of the staff were. They were chatting with customers like they were old friends, asking about the well being of family members and kindly gossiping. It made the atmosphere all the better. I will definitely be back to continue my builder set, as well as try their other services.

I did a chrome color - pricing was not disclosed prior to me choosing the Chrome either (Beware any add-on is charged. You are basically nickel and dimmed for every choice. My pedicure became an easy $100. Onto the quality of my nails. The quality was horrendous. The tech did not go all the way down to the cuticles so my fresh nails with a brand "new set" (I don't use tips and still got charged for a full set ) it looked like they were already a week old. After having the tech redo them to fix her mistake, they still look like shit. The tips of my nails are missing chunks of chrome. I'm not willing to walk back in there because this manicure and pedicure became an easy $215. I have never in my life paid that much for a simple pedicure and nail set. We came to Houston to try something new and expected it to be a little pricier, but I did not expect to give away my first born child. Nor did I expect to leave completely unsatisfied.

There's no rushing you from station to station to get you out the door. My nails curve naturally and they take time to shape and protect them from breaking. My natural nails are super long and strong--people always ask if they're fake! The products they use don't leave dips in my nails and my nails are so protected that they survive at least a month of daily typing, furniture assembly, and playing with my energetic dog. The designs and care they've done for me over the years have been amazing, and I always leave (and return) happy. Highly recommend! All pictures are of my natural nails.

I recently discovered this hidden gem of a nail salon after being disappointed by my previous tech, whose quality and customer service had declined. From the moment I called to book an appointment to the second my nails were done, the entire team was incredibly warm, welcoming, professional, and kind. Bae did my pedicure, and she was absolutely immaculate. She used tools I rarely see at other nail salons to clean out my ingrown nails--something I've struggled with for a long time--and she did it so well that it felt amazing. Chanails and spa is truly as good as it gets. I was visiting Houston staying at the Houstonian. When the hotel's spa couldn't accommodate, I stumbled upon Chanails, Peter Bello, the spa's owner, is a true Texan dispensing big-sized hospitality and local knowledge. Jenny and her team provided top rate professional services in a comfortable, calming and immaculately clean setting. The range of services is wide, with even the most basic offering a good dose of pampering. Chanails has really raised the bar on what a nail salon should be, and I actually had a better experience there than I have at many high-end spas at a much more reasonable price. My only problem now is trying to find a comparable place in my home city. I will be back every time I am within 100 miles of Houston. read more

I have been going to Chanails since they opened. I kept driving down San Felipe street to see when they would open. I had tried a few places on Memorial drive in River Oaks. But they were expensive and not as clean as they should be for the area. I like Chanails because they are clean and use the disposable bags over the pedicure tubs. So everyone is getting a clean and sanitary pedicure. If I wasn't moving out of state this would be the place I would keep going to. Peter the owner is very nice and friendly to talk to. Thank you so much for your services the girls are all very nice to. Best wishes if I ever come back to Houston I will be sure to come by. And I will recommend this place. I've been here several times and each time they are so nice and I leave very satisfied. Also it has a very clean atmosphere and does not have that strong smell that most nail salons have. I've been to a different manicurist each time and each of them is fantastic. I would definitely recommend this nail salon. Also parking is a breeze! read more
