OH MY GOODNESS! Are you serious?! I was honestly debating if I should gatekeep this hidden gem, but…read moreI can't do that because this shop deserves recognition. This little hidden gem is on a corner, so parking is somewhat of a challenge to find but, they do have a parking lot on Liliha St, a little small but, if you're patient, you can find parking since they share a parking lot with a cafe next door (hot tip: get there a little early, stop by the cafe next door, get yourself a sweet treat and then go shopping) which is exactly what my friend and I did this morning! Upon walking in, we were immediately greeted by Val and her sister, and felt like we were raiding our sister's bead/craft closet! They have such a large section of beads, lei beads, ribbons, decals, and beading supplies amongst other things. My friend and I arrived at 10:40 this morning, and omg, didn't leave until 12:45! You can honestly spend all day in there easily! We had such a blast in there, and everyone was so helpful, especially because my friend and I had an idea of what we wanted to do but didn't know exactly what we needed! I'm not going to lie, I got a total of 20 decals, BUT they're not all for me, and they're going to be used for presents! Another hot tip: if you feel like you get overwhelmed easily, come to the store with a few bead/lei projects in mind already and look for what you need. I came here without a plan, and I got a lot of the stuff I was looking for, but realized that I need to sit down and organize my thoughts for what I want to make and for whom, so I can plan accordingly for my next visit! All in all, I am going to come back here. Not only are you shopping local to support smaller businesses, but you're also getting a good deal on all the stuff! What I love about it is if I want to try something but I'm not committed to it 100% yet, I can come, get a few things to try it out, if I like it, I can come back for more, and if I don't, I didn't waste money!

D1 and I spent a lot of time going back and forth thinking of projects and my mom was so cute just going with the flow. Adding her opinions here and there. Stickers, beads, charms, ribbons, a crafters dream come true. A small parking lot in the back. A little cramped inside but filled with so many goodies. They even have samples of what to craft, that's how we both got sucked in. #supportlocal.

Uniquely Kawaii…read more.. That's what CAS Crafts & Collectibles is, located in Pearlridge Center this little kiosk cart is filled to the brim top to bottom with all thinks kawaii not just stationaries and accessories but plushies and decor. Pearlridge Center is filled with many places anime and Kpop though here they just seem to find items that aren't found anywhere else and at such great prices what a find to see items that are so special and makes my gift giving a breeze! What a find including some Line Friends items which is just the most difficult ones to find and they have it here yay!! My bestie have apparently discovered this place which I have known for quite some time but haven't had the chance to write a review but they certainly deserve the five stars for the selection and friendly staff who points out the matching item to pair with whatever direction I'm going and that's a ten star team! Thank you!

How can I resist? Located between TJ Maxx and Macy's, this section of Pearlridge used to be called Downtown, but now, it's Wai Makai. I wasn't going to buy anything... Really... We had just finished breakfast and had time before lunch... CAS Crafts & Collectables has so many cute items - pens, stationary, keychains, plushies, etc. I actually found Brown and Choco pillows from Line Friends (the Korean version of Sanrio). I had to get the Brown plushie for my friend's birthday next month! She'll luv it!!! I don't want to show her the Brown and Cony angel plushies... There was only one... and it was priced lower than an online store (plus - avoid paying shipping)!!! It's also better to get items from this kiosk - rather than going to Korea to buy them! Haha! Come take a look! There are unique things here! ... and service was very friendly and helpful!

First off, I love this store!…read more Living on the mainland, there are so many crafting supplies that are unique to Hawaiʻi, and every time I walk into Ben Franklin Crafts, I find myself wandering the aisles thinking, "Ooh... I don't have this back home" and in goes the item in my cart. What brought me in today tho, was to support one of the local small businesses that rents a "locker" inside the store. I absolutely love this concept. Ben Franklin has created a space where local makers can showcase and sell their work, giving shoppers the chance to support dozens of independent businesses all under one roof. Honestly, if money were no object, I'd probably leave with something from every locker. The variety is incredible, and it's fun seeing all the creativity from local artisans. Whether you're a serious crafter, looking for a unique gift, or just enjoy browsing, this place is sooo dangerous... in the best way possible. It's basically a crafter's candy store, and I look forward to getting lost here every time.

A wide selection of colors, however, a few of the popular colors and flowers were out of stock. The beads are light weight, flexible, and the stems may be easily cut shorter. I was happily surprised that it did not feel rough or abrasive against material or the human skin. Great for simple DIY craft projects. My first project was to create a forever lei bag charm. The flower beads are reasonably priced and affordable for crafting projects. Service was okay lol. The cashier could have shown a little more interest. No smile or thank you for coming today. Maybe it was an off day for her. Other employees were nice and helpful in finding the beads. Overall a 4.5 star experience. Rounded up to 5 stars.

Located inside a small plaza near Ala Moana (Piikoi st.) They share a private parking area with Cho Dangs Honolulu and Nijiya Market. Once you set your eyes on something rare, I recommend buying it instead of waiting because I guarantee you it will not be there the next time you visit. I also advise that the store can get really expensive because these are mostly imported goods from Japan. So spend wisely! Sales and discounts are also provided, but on rare occasions. The employees are also very helpful and nice. They will support your purchase just not your wallet (lol).

I think I remember they called me out to not take pictures in the store one time. lol
