The customer service was exceptional and my rings were done within an hour. In my opinion, my rings sparkled brighter than when I first got them. I could not stop staring at them. Ample parking. It is right next to where Toys R Us used to be, and to get to the parking you will need to turn in at the light by Big City Diner. The new store is a definite upgrade to the old location! It was a little confusing for me to find as you can't see Elson's from the parking lot. You will have to walk out through a pathway to get to Pali Momi Street and walk to where the store faces the street. You will need to get buzzed in for security reasons. They have a small jewelry selection available that is ready to purchase, but it seems they do a lot of custom work. I primarily come here for repairs! I've replaced missing pave diamonds and just had a repair done today for a bracelet I had where a pear shaped diamond fell out. I unfortunately did not have the diamond, but they had a similar natural diamond on hand and were able to repair it in about 20 minutes! Repair cost was about $100 less than I was quoted to mail it back to the jewelry company that I purchased it from in the mainland. Saved money and got it back right away. I will always come here for jewelry repair needs!

We asked if we were able to place an order for a barrel lock to fit a 6mm chains. She then proceeded to say that she needed to call their vendor as he makes the barrel locks. To our surprise, the vendor told the lady that there's no way to make a 6mm barrel lock, only 8mm and above! We both knew that it was full of crap because we had a 5mm barrel lock! Then the lady proceeded to ask us if we wanted to upgrade to an 8mm chain since they had those locks in stock. Hah! Talk about feeling offended, so we decided to leave as we know it was a bunch of bull. If you want trustworthy business, don't waste your time here.

I spoke to the male owner and I explained to him that the gold is nowhere near the same as what I had on the ring and he stated that it was. So I believed him. He said his ring guy was the best, but his ring guy failed to try to make it the way it was. You can tell where the existing gold starts and ends. The added gold creates lots of marks and it feels rough to the touch; I often get little scratch marks with it. The jade is loose, and I don't know where I can go to help fix this issue. Brenda took the time to educate me about my diamond as she is a very knowledgeable and very reputable gemologist in the State. I came to find out that the diamond I actually have is better quality and valued better. She showed me different aspects of looking at a diamond and how to tell if its man made, natural, etc. I have worked in high end jewelery before but this is nothing compared to what she knows having been in the business for years (I told her she has lineage in diamonds) I would highly recommend her as an appraiser if you have jewelry.
