    Awesome yummy sushi!

This is a great place to get sushi. Their experience is obvious. The pizza is tasty too. They have many options for slices.

The guy was mean. He gave me cheese calzone when I asked for pizza calzone. I did not tip.

Best kosher pizza in Rockland! Service is good. I especially like the falafel and the salad bar. Definitely worth to check out.

They call it a calzone, when in fact, it is not a calzone, but this is a common thing in the kosher pizza business.

We sampled all 3 of the red wines they offered before deciding on one and buying a bottle. Bottle prices are fair enough, but these aren't high end wines. We ordered the mussels appetizer here again as it was awesome last time... And it was awesome again! So delicious. The hummus bowls were ok. We're generally not wow'd with these, but when combined with an appetizer and their complimentary dip with pita, it's all filling enough. The air felt a bit stagnant here again and then some customer must have said something because they finally turned on their house air conditioning. It felt so much more comfortable at that point, but we were already almost done with our meal. Service was great. They also charge a 3% credit card fee or offer a 4% discount if paying with cash. A mixed bag of penalty and incentive.

They carry dairy products from a farm across the street, local grains, cheeses, and bulk maple syrup from farms upstate. Beautiful bulk and produce sections. Hidden juice/smoothie bar in the back! I have watched this Co-op evolve over many years. They had some growing pains in the past (seems like any of the negative reviews are over 10 years old), but they must have taken feedback seriously, and consistently re-blossomed. They are now, again, my favorite place to find healthy food and a wonderful sense of community. Whole Foods is handy, but not cheap, and cannot compete with the amount of in-season local food available here. I love that we can have this option to support local farms, and keep our money in our regional community.

Organic, local items and produce. Kind owner. When we were there we saw a family come in with their young toddler. He immediately welcomed them and said I saved this for you! And it was a bag of unpackaged potatoes and a little empty basket on their produce shelf for him to go unpack. He was delighted and went over to do his big boy job. So cute! Everyone was very friendly. A true gem!!!!!! We will be back again when we are in the area & I won't be bringing any food with us, knowing this place is here!
