The actual wedding took place in a greenhouse like atrium attached and covered outside. Seriously, gorgeous building and location for any special occasion or wedding. The service was impeccable. Waiters came by for the toasting hour before dinner with little appetizers and canapes. There was some kind of delicious mapley fatty bacon in there somewhere that was awesome. So why four stars and not five? Man, those bartenders, even though they are very generous and sweet as can be, cannot pour a good drink. I switched from wine because I wasn't a fan of it to quickly an old fashioned which tasted incredibly off. I think because it was a more classic style. But then later I experimented with trying a Manhattan cocktail after I saw my friend with it and that was even worse. Finally, resolved to sticking to well liquor and a simple mixer and everything was fine after that. The food was meh. The salad course was actually my favorite part. It was served with garrison seasonal farm vegetables and parmesan risotto in a red wine jus. The sauce was interesting - good I think but weird. The meat was really tough. It was cooked okay but it was just a super poor cut of meat with a lot of fat grizzle and just hard to chew and enjoy. That was the main focal point of the meal though and I was pretty dismayed. Also heard from other people at the wedding that the scallops were just as bad. Very tiny portion and it had a funky off taste to them. The lightning truly was my favorite as well as all the industrial/modern feels. Love the disco balls that hang elegantly as well as the two stairs that wrap around. It's such a fun, different space for any occasion but especially for a wedding. Parking's not the best but they have street parking available nearby. Sunday's it's free so that's a plus. My friends got married inside. The wall in which they got married in front of had a fire alarm right in the middle. That fire alarm will be in EVERY picture!! I would go crazy! 2. In fact for the first hour we couldn't figure out where they were sitting. There was light during speeches thanks to their photographer. 4. The cocktail area space is so small! You could barely walk from one side to the other. As a guest it was extremely uncomfortable. 5. The food was okay and there was a great dessert table but the table was outside the ballroom so you barely knew it was there. 6. Last, the bartenders were so slow! There were two bars and a nonstop line at both bars all night. They should have had more help. I would not suggest having your wedding there unless you are paying under $90pp because it should not be more than that.

It was then our turn to go up to the buffet- we could not find where to get the plates from. There were mini plates around but if you wanted a larger plate you had to wait inline for the kids and breakfast buffet. The food was just not good at all and very unorganized. The hashbrowns and Waffles were hard as rock, couldn't cut into them, bacon was practically raw, and items that should've been kept warm weren't. The stations were constantly empty. I would like to love this place, hopefully they will improve.
