I and my hubby went out there on March 16 2017 for our anniversary. Beautiful location inside and outside but the portion of our entrees are very small . We could've had went to somewhere esle and paid less but we wanted to try it out . Everyone was very nice and it wasn't really packed as well . It was beautiful inside and very clean . This was a once and a lifetime place to come and check it out sense it was so private. I wouldn't come back here it was just too expensive and our desert was extremely small. A cookie with some berries on it was worth 10$ if I knew that I would've had skipped it . I did have a great time .

Amazing smoked lobster! The presentation, especially when it gets to the table, is great!

Absolutely perfect! This was a very, very last minute for Birthday celebration and it was well worth it! From spectacular view, very comfortable seating, to our hostess and the food, everything was just great! Drinks came out perfect on time, even got resiling that was not on the menu. The presentation of each of the dishes was great and the taste even better. Our hostess, Stephanie, was fantastic! Very positive, smiling and very helpful. She really added the extra touch to the dinner. We normally do not linger around but ended up spending 3.5 hours enjoying every minute. Highly recommend!

Rack of lamb was delicious! Very fair price!

Amazing food inspired by the chef at a fair price. I have been here 3 times in the past few months and the menu and food always surprises me. Gorgeous views of the Hudson River and beautiful decor! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a date night or family dinner!

Beautiful place for a wedding!! But stay somewhere else. The wedding venue and catering 5 Star!!.. The accommodations do not match the venue

Exquisite venue with impeccable service and sinfully delicious food. I will come back again and again as frequently as I can. I started with the Duck Confit Salad and a Louisa Ludlow cocktail. For an entrée I chose the Rack of Lamb with potatoes au gratin and a dirty Grey Goose Martini. For dessert I split the ginger creme brûlée and the lemon berry trifle with my grandmother, both were phenomenal. I finished the evening with a glass of Tawny Port and a cappuccino. This was hands-down one of the best meals I have ever had in my life, and the service matched, if not exceeded, the quality of the food and atmosphere. You simply must come see for yourself!

This place can be hosted with a number of events of your choice, private party, drama set, you name it, it will happen and be taken care of by the facility. On my first visit, I wasn't expecting it to look so eye appealing, but stepping in sure answered that question. The room is fairly large with plenty of seating and also a balcony with tables along with a bar - pretty cool if you ask me. With it being very crowded, there are two stair wells to move foot traffic along quickly. I like the decorations all around the room, especially the disco balls that were hanging (a big fan of disco, no joke). It's awesome just taking it all in. The room looked very clean for our event, and I highly recommend booking them for any event if your choice. *Parking is provided on the street and also a parking area just east of this building. Also, the Dramatic Hall is located on the 3rd level via elevator or stairs.*

First off, I have to say this, I've never seen anything like the Dramatic Hall. It sure lives up to its name. Seriously so much drama and it surely is a photographers playground. It was the perfect atmosphere for a Sunday wedding. Can't say enough how much I enjoyed photographing a wedding here. Everything was so royal and "extra" without being too over the top. The lightning truly was my favorite as well as all the industrial/modern feels. Love the disco balls that hang elegantly as well as the two stairs that wrap around. It's such a fun, different space for any occasion but especially for a wedding. Parking's not the best but they have street parking available nearby. Sunday's it's free so that's a plus. If you're looking for a different kind of venue this is your spot. You will love all the drama and fun it has!

This might be just the taste, but nobody at our table liked them. Also - and this seems to be the specialty of the house - they were not particularly warm. We also ordered the nachos with the brisket chili. The plate was huge and the nachos were pretty good. Unfortunately, the chili was largely a rumor. Now for dinner. Oh boy. First the staff, including our waitress, brought us food for another table. We didn't realize it right away, because the other table ordered a couple of items we did. Then we did get our food. We had a couple of the brisket grilled cheeses. These were tasty, but again, with precious little meat in them, and not hot. We had a smash burger order - COLD. Two mushroom truffle burgers - also cold and one was severely undercooked. We were going to a show so we suffered with it. The fries were a hit by the way. I ordered the salt caramel gelato. I've had similar many times. This was overly salty. I was very excited to go here, but unfortunately, quality flew the coop at Birdsall.
