Our son Jacob married the love of his life, Danielle, whom we LOVE, on August 21st, a Friday evening wedding and it was SPECTACULAR ! This establishment runs like a well oiled machine and as business owners in the area for over 50 years, we know what that is ! We were treated like a family member from the start and it only got better and better as the months grew closer to the one of the most important days of our families lives. Our daughter Jessica was in the wedding party which made it even more special. Everyones (our guests) pictures came out awesome and looked like a professional took them, because of all the beautiful back drops and high-end decor the interior offers. The food and service was amazing. We waited for nothing. The price was very reasonable, in fact the most affordable out of every place we visited in Westchester and Putnam Counties, and the location was perfect, especially for the weary travelers coming in from California and Virginia, as we live in Mahopac and wanted to put them up with our surrounding families homes in the area and invite them to an after party on Saturday at our home . Oozing pillar bliss, this Villa Barone, (not to mistake this as the location in Throggs Neck) offers the most sought-after destination for meetings, weddings, social events- even hubs' grand niece's Sweet 16th we attended on a rainy Sunday. This Mahopac location has a grand bar as you enter and several function rooms that you can book and customize to suit your event based on your party size. The girl's family picked a room for about 100 people comfortably with adequate space to fill large oblong tables on each side of the room and a dance floor in between. On June 24, 2022 my husband and I were married at Villa Barone Hilltop Manor. Vinny is incredible! The staff went beyond our expectations to make the day flawless, memorable, and most importantly so much damn FUN. We were pleased with the quality and quantity of food, decor and on site amenities. Our guests couldn't believe what was included in our price, and neither could we. I understand some people wanna get married in an unconventional setting (barn, forest, backyard. Etc) yet if you want to be married, enjoy your special time celebrating love, then you need to go to the experts. Villa Barone is an event expert. We had the ceremony at the venue, it was outside and dreamy. The waterfalls and natural greenery made the pictures! Our guests enjoyed taking pics near the balcony and throughout the various spaces we had the entire event. After the ceremony we enjoyed our cocktail hour, we made sure to do the first look and pics before the ceremony. Vinny and his team made sure we had food before we took our pictures and even set up cocktail hour food in the bridal suite so my husband and I could enjoy a few moments of peace before greeting our guests. I had my wedding here only a couple days ago and from the start when we walked in to even check the venue out I knew it was going to be the one. Nick helped me with every single question I had, and took care of everything! He even reminded me of things I would have never thought of and he made our night so special. The staff was AMAZING 10/10! the food, the hospitality, my bridal attendant, the servers, the maitre d, everyone worked so hard to make sure the night was perfect and magical and it was!!! I could not be any happier with the way things turned out. I did not have to worry about a thing honestly except for making a few choices here and there Nick really took care of every single thing. They are professionals and they really know this business and they do it well and I would never have an event any where else! We had our wedding there in July of 2023 and couldn't have been happier! The service was impeccable and more than we could have ever wished for. We worked closely with John to talk about our vision and he made it possible! I had particular requests that I wanted to make our day unique and John was very flexible and accommodating. Throughout the process we were able to get in touch with him quickly and easily and ask any questions we needed. We loved the lake side property for our first look which added even more depth and scenery to our wedding pictures. It was great that it was so close to the venue and made transportation very easy. We were able to get to the venue a couple hours before our ceremony to take pictures with our family and Villa Barone was extremely accommodating. They had waters, drinks and an antipasto board in the bridal suite for our wedding party to snack on in between pictures and the ceremony. We worked with Vinny during the day of the wedding and couldn't have been happier. John and Vinny coordinated all of our special requests and made the day seamless. We LOVED our day of matradee, Robert and bridal attendant Brianna. They were so helpful in every way! Whether it was sticking to our timeline, helping with the wedding dress bustle, giving family members leftovers at the end of the night and everything in between. Our guest LOVED the venue and the food! Every single guest came up to us or texted us after the wedding saying how impressed they were with the venue and the abundance of food. We chose the 2nd food package and were blown away by how much food came with it for the per plate cost. (Definitely the lowest price we came across!) Guests were talking about the dessert hour for days and LOVED it! We were able to request special dishes during cocktail hour and the sit down dinner. Came here for a friends wedding a few months ago and had a lovely time. The rooms were so gorgeous, I couldn't stop talking about how beautiful they were. The rest of the grounds were nice too, overall a beautiful, romantic atmosphere. The food was decent and there was a ton of it! I couldn't believe how big the dinner portions were. The bartender was an older gentleman and he was fantastic!!!! Funny, quick and made me specialty espresso martini drinks all night which were delicious. The Venetian was beyond impressive, sooooooooo much dessert. My favorite station however was the creme brulee one. The only downside to this place was the location- it was literally in the middle of nowhere. They have one (very very cheap) motel right down the road, but all of the decent hotels were at least a half hour away. read more

Overall, this is a beautiful venue. I attended a wedding here last night, and it's classy, upscale and tastefully decorated. Chandeliers, paneled walls, very glam. The one thing I didn't like was the carpet in the main reception room because it's outdated and ugly... I imagine that picking attractive reception decor to match it is quite the challenge. But if they'd change that, I think this venue would be just about flawless. Service was wonderful. There was a bit of a snafu where we rsvp'd to the wedding two days beforehand due to personal events that made us think we wouldn't be able to make it; because of this, we ended up not having any seats set up for us at our table. A staff member quickly brought some over to solve the issue. I've seen reviews complaining about the food, but I thought it was perfectly fine. I had some pasta, some salmon and their appetizers during the cocktail hour, while I didn't actually have any, looked delicious. The table wine did kind of suck though. But based on my experience as a guest, I'd definitely recommend this as a solid option to consider for a wedding venue. I attended a wedding there and the staff was good. The Italian food was great but the seafood was not. I was surprised by that because I expected more. Anyway, the reason for my two star rating is that It took a really long time to get cake after dinner, then it took even longer to get coffee. Dinner was served around 6:30 pm, cake was served without coffee somewhere around 9:00 pm and the Venetian hour and coffee (that was cold) was not served until 10:00 pm. That seemed a bit excessive. Future brides and grooms, I suggest you discuss your serving timeline. Coffee does not need to be served immediately after dinner but it should be served with the cake at the very least. read more

Planning a wedding during this time of the pandemic was very stressful but we always walked out of that building with our stress and anxiety immediately relieved. They whipped up the most delicious meals for myself and the other vegan at the table! It was so yummy! They were making fresh mozzarella in front of us and I was just sitting there eating it with a big glass of wine. There was also a large roasted pig and a whole station dedicated to wine and cheese. This was a super Italian wedding. Dinner: I hope the owners read this! so this summer I went to five weddings and this was the best one and you wanna know why? Your wait staff! You have good people working here and the funny thing is its mostly teenagers but they are all super professional. At other weddings this summer I had experiences where I didn't get coffee, no one could open the wine at the table, or my food was in edible bc i found a fly or hair in my food. If you want your expectations exceeded, book Villa Barone Hilltop Manor. From the outside, one may not think much of this spectacular venue, but definitely, GO INSIDE! From the outside terrace, waterfalls and gorgeous ballrooms, there is another breathtaking view around every corner. When my fiancé and I were looking for a wedding venue, this was the ONLY place where they were honest and accommodating. We decided on the platinum package for the extra hour as well as the over-the-top cocktail hour. Gianni and Vinny were extremely helpful in making sure our day went perfectly. The day of the wedding, July 8, 2016, we not only had a maître D' assigned to us (Rob) but also a bridal attendant (Antoinette). These two individuals could not have done more for us and our family. Whenever we needed something, they had already anticipated our needs and it was done. They even thought about things that we didn't think about. When we couldn't finish our meals, we were offered to take them home! Throughout the day, there was a threat of rain all day long, but Rob & Vinny kept a close eye on the weather and it turned out perfectly. They made me definitely feel at ease and were calm the entire day. There were good surprises from then on in. The ceremony space was decorated beautifully and Rob made sure that everyone walked in and was organized. Rob was instrumental in the rehearsal as well. I didn't really have to do anything, which at that point, I really was relieved! Rob took control of everything and knows how to run the show. We attended a wedding on September 15, 2018. I can not say enough amazing things about the Villa Barone Hilltop Manor. Nicky and his team went above and beyond to make this special day for our niece the most memorable and unforgettable. The execution of 400 dinners was superb, the timing was right on point. I don't even know where to start. My wife and I were married this past New Year's Eve and words to describe the amazing job Johnny, Nicki, Vinny and their team did won't do them justice. Everything from the service to the food was top notch. Every detail was perfect and nothing was missed and we couldn't be happier! Just attended a wedding at the Villa Barone Hilltop Manor. Overall decent place. I am not a huge fan of gaudy wedding factories. There must have been at least two other events going on that night... People everywhere! The cocktail hour was really good. The set up with the food was kind of awkward though having a pasta station right in the middle of the room and the other two stations on opposite sides. The tables were so spread out so it was hard to socialize. I appreciated the spread but quantity does not equal quality in most cases... The food was solid though. I did enjoy it! It all went down hill with dinner... The menus made for the guest were not accurate and there was food listed on the menu that was never offered... At least one meal was substituted... I should have known not to order seafood at one of these places... I got the shrimp and scallops, my husband got the rib eye steak. The scallops were inedible one being completely undercooked, the other overcooked and the breaded shrimp was soggy... My husband ordered his steak rare figuring they would still over cook it... Came out well done... Not surprised. The waitstaff were very nice but you could tell that they were not all trained maybe a few still in high school. One server almost dropped a tray of food and was practically throwing plates of pasta at each setting like frisbees for the second course. They do this Champaign dance, i don't know, but it's kinda tacky in my personal opinion. I don't get it. Not necessary to have the waitstaff dancing around on the dance floor with bottles of champaign. The table wine was okay. I only had a sip. There is one positive! On the plus side they do not skimp on alcohol at the bar! I had a hard time drinking it because it was so strong but I can see that being a plus for most party goers! Probably wouldn't have bothered me after a few drinks. If you are looking for a venue, you can know what to expect from this place. Solid place but watch out what you order for food especially fish and maybe ask to skip the silly champaign dance. read more

His creativity and longivity in the wedding business allows his clients to have a host of new ideas.
