When my boxer was young they help me very quickly learn what to do. Nobu is really great. And I will use him again.

I love Camp Bow Wow Tracy but my pups love it more! I have been taking my two dogs, Kenobi and…read moreAnakin, 5x a week since May 2024. I have used every service they offer (day care, bath, nail care, enrichment, etc.) and every time, my pups leave the facility happy and tired. From the jump, they were accommodating and so great with me and my dogs. My older dog passed their interview easily but my little one didn't pass his interview the first time around. But there was no judgment. They quickly assured me he would more than likely pass the 2nd time. After he did pass, they have been so excited every time they come in. Now, they are jumping out of their paws every morning when I take them in the car and they know where we are going. The staff have always been so nice to me when I pick up and drop off. No matter who I deal with, they are always kind and a joy to talk to. I also make sure to check in with them to see if my dogs are having behavioral issues and give them heads up if one of my boys is feeling "spicy" or extra needy any certain day. Or if I am stuck in traffic on my way home and cutting it close to closing time, I call them and let them know I am on the way. That communication goes a long way with my rapport with the staff. And in the end, my pups win out. They get to play and socialize with other humans and dogs and it shows in their behavior out of camp. If you need consistent day care, boarding, and any extras, I can't sing Camp Bow Wow praises enough to anyone in Tracy with pups. If you don't believe me, see the photos below. You can't make up those happy pup photos.

The place is very clean - you can even see it getting cleaned up in their camper cams!! When we signed up and passed his interview (yes- your baby needs to pass the interview LOL), it's more on how they react with other pups. Making sure your pup doesn't attack the other campers. I love the process of their interview day. Gives me peace of mind that they're picky of their campers. Julia gave us a tour of the facility. Julia is amazing. The place is super clean and organized! Nice thing about this place is they won't just sign up any dogs if not completely vaccinated. So you know the campers are all vaccinated and clean. They also have cameras so you can view your babies in action. Someone supervises them at all times. No told me to write this review and I'm not being paid either. I'm not much of a review writer but this place deserves one and I really want them to be in business! So far, I've dealt with Julia and Anna - both are amazing! Bring your pups and fur babies here- ! I highly recommend!!! ----------------------------------------------- To Camp bow wow management ...... For the app feedback- wish there's a history of services provided so I can always look back who took care of my baby .... Like groomer and such. Or maybe I just don't know how to navigate my app yet ?:) Lol.

This seems like a bit of a repetitive review…read more The good: Very clean. Very nice. Great hours and availability. The docs seem to know what's going on. They have a lot of staff on hand and specific prescription food. Their response for prescriptions to send out to Chewy is also very fast. The bad: Most of the time I call and they answer and ask me to hold (unless it' an emergency). I hold and hold ... and HOLD. In fact I have held sometimes over 20 minutes and nobody every comes back to help me. Just because it's not an emergency and I am willing to hold that does not mean FOREVER! After you help your customer in line then it's my turn please. Oh also, you had better have a LOT of money because this place will not start with the basic things. They immediately head right to the easiest way to make as much money as possible. Cat got a wheeze and lost a couple pounds? Let's run bloodwork for $650. That all came back fine? Oh ok, then let's do an Xray for $650. All clear there? Doc basically refuses anything else but an exam of the GI for $750. We pass on the GI test and the breathing get's worse. Call back and now they want to start the process over again with chest Xrays for another $650. How about starting out small and do some steroids or an antibiotic first? I guess that's not going to make them enough money. Imagine going into a doctor and saying you have a fever and a cough and they immediately send you in for Xrays and bloodwork and CT scans and an MRI just for the hell of it. Hey Jules ... Not everyone has a money tree in the back yard.

Countryside Canine and Olivia have truly been life-changing for us. We sent our female Belgian…read moreMalinois, Athena, to Olivia's 5-week program, and it was an absolute game changer. A little backstory--Athena was a COVID puppy, so she didn't get the proper early socialization she needed, especially with other dogs. On top of that, being a Belgian Malinois, she has very unique needs. Her prey drive is incredibly high, and so was her anxiety. Walks used to be stressful--she would react to every noise, person, or animal. Even getting her into the car felt like wrestling a bear. After training with Olivia, it honestly felt like we got a whole new dog back. Athena still has some anxiety and that natural Malinois prey drive, but now I have the tools and confidence to manage both effectively. We now go on daily walks--often twice a day. I've taken her to large parks and on short hikes, and she's been amazing. I'm even planning to take her on a multi-day camping and hiking trip--something I never would have imagined before her training. The biggest difference is that Olivia didn't just train my dog--she trained me too. She gave me the knowledge and tools to continue working with Athena at home, and Athena has taken to it like a fish to water. It's such a great feeling to have a smart, engaged, and obedient dog to enjoy life with. I can't thank Olivia enough for everything she's done. I highly recommend Olivia and Countryside Canine!

I sent my 10-month-old Australian Shepherd to board and train with Olivia and, in the best way…read morepossible, he came back a different dog: the same sweet personality, but with dramatically better self-control. I enrolled him for three weeks and ended up adding a fourth. His biggest challenges were reactivity, anxiety, recall, and staying engaged with me around distractions. Before training, he would bark and lunge at strangers, bolt through open doors, and ignore commands the moment something more interesting appeared. Now he's calm on and off leash, reliably holds commands until released, and consistently checks back in with me instead of running off. What impressed me most wasn't just the behavior change, it was the foundation Olivia built. Nix now understands how to look to me for guidance when he's distracted, stressed, or uncertain. The results have been more durable and meaningful than anything I achieved through months of research, classes, private lessons, and thousands of dollars spent on training. I was initially skeptical of board and trains, and balanced training methods, particularly e-collars and slip leads, because of so many traumatic videos out there. Olivia completely changed my perspective. She uses these tools thoughtfully, gently, and effectively--not to intimidate or hurt dogs, but to communicate clearly despite distractions. Nix isn't fearful or shut down; if anything, he's more confident, more relaxed, and more connected to me than ever before. Of all the money I've spent on training, Olivia's board-and-train was by far the best investment I've made in my dog. The transformation has been remarkable, and our relationship is stronger because of it.
