Chamberlian is a crook. Dean Bah is a scammer. We got so screwed by Chamberlian. They caused all sorts of problems for us, and the sale of our home We hired them to pump and inspect our septic system. They sent a young man to our home. he couldn't be a day over 23. I asked him is there an inspector coming, he replied that he also was the inspector, He removed the one lid to the tank and pumped it. He then turned on the flash lite on his phone and told me everything looks good. he stated that the baffle is in place, He then told me to go inside and flush the toilet. then stated again. everything looks good I asked him, (are you going to inspect the secondary lid and camera the inlet to the distribution box) he told me it was not necessary everything look good. What about the leach field, its fine, everything looks good 3 days later we get a letter from the crook Dean Bah, (Chamberlian) stating there is a history of high-water marks on the tank, which indicates that there is a problem with the leach field. our realtor called and asked Dean to come out and recheck the work and if there is a problem please let us know what the problem is and what do we need to correct it. He refused to come out. but when the buyers got the report, and they contacted Chamberlian, he had no problem telling them it would be 15K to repair the leach field, so we had to call a second inspection. He opened both lids and the distribution box. OMG everything is working like it should. Dean Bah is a scammer, Don't ever use him, after talking to others we have learned this is not the first time, he has done this too others. read more

Brad was polite and very helpful. moving forward to get our job done was extremely disappointing with Dean. came to our house for 5 minutes,said he would take care of the Estimate. I called 4 times and never received a call back! so after 5 weeks I moved on to another company. waste of our time! read more

My review: Gloria in their office is the ONLY reason they are getting 1 star.  This is our SECOND negative experience with them.   Hired to do a septic inspection for a purchase.  They never inspected the Distribution Box.  Dean was  next to impossible to get a hold talk to.  Did not return calls in a timely manner.  The entire inspection was incompletely.  They failed the ENTIRE system when the true problem was a washer needed to be hooked up, a kitchen sink needed to be hooked up and the D Box replaced!! I called Chamberlain's office today to express my appreciation for the efforts of their employee, Jesse, who successfully completed a job for us yesterday. This review is a continuation of my evaluation of his work. We had a sewer line that occasionally backed up. Chamberlains was recommended because they utilize a camera which allows the technician to view the problem directly. An appointment was made but Dean called a day in advance to explain the camera required repair. He asked if we needed immediate repairs which fortunately were not necessary. I received a call from his office two days later to reschedule and the problem was identified and corrected despite unusually difficult circumstances. Future problems in the line will be avoided thanks to Jesse's perseverance. read more

I just bought a home with a septic system. The first company I called to inspect it gave me the run around for 2 weeks, didn't answer any of my questions, and tried to tell me I needed to get a brand new system and move it to the other side of the house and spend over 10 thousands dollars on it. Frustrated with the other company and having a gut feeling that I was being ripped off, I called Chamberlain Septic to get a second opinion. The owner, Dean, came out that morning, gave us some tips to run a test, and explained everything to us. Ultimately, we did need repair work on the distributor box and to clean out one of the leech lines. They fixed our current system and we paid less than a tenth of what the other company was going to charge us. They saved the day, were honest and got it fixed within 24 hours! I can't say enough about Dean and his team at Chamberlain Septic! We will definitely be doing business with them again! read more

We called chamberlain four times in a month and talked with dean. We were very interested in the quote dean gave the first time we called him but then he never tried to call us back after he was supposed to take a look at the situation. I like to use webster businesses but in this case we were very frustrated with the lack of following through with a phone call! Good thing we were not in a hurry!! read more

Make sure you always get a second quote or a third. We were quoted 16 thousand here and they told us it was the only system our yard could have. We found another company who did a traditional system for 5 thousand. Don't get scammed. read more

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! After blowing me off multiple times on back to back appointments I spoke with the owner. She was absolutley unprofessional over the phone. It was very obvious I was dealing with a well below Sub-Par organization. The one good outcome that came from all this was that it forced me to shop around. I was able to book another company based out of Fairport at a much lower price. I highly advise against using this company's services. read more

The Level of service I have received over the years from Chamberlains is amazing!! They have helped out in all kinds of problems. I have had to have my tank pumped as it was backing up. They were fast to respond! I had an OLD OLD septic tank collapse and Dean came out to see what was needed to replace it. And got it replaced real quick! I would recommend them to any one (and i have) who has a septic tank. The staff in the office who make the appointments are very friendly and have a lot of info for me, as i just moved in to a new house that has a septic system too. So even with the move I still will only let them touch my septic needs! Thanks for all you do!! read more
