Beautiful hotel. Room was clean. The view was great and the bathroom was nice as well. Casino downstairs was ok.

most luxurious experience ever... so romantic and elevated with the best drinks made by Mr. Paul. Best mojito and espresso martini I have ever tried and dont forget to try his signature drink the "Pauls Pleasure." the rooms are so nice and the games are so fun! great atmosphere with no smoking inside

We had a great time on our first visit to the hotel. The card key system was down but the staff handled the challenge without a hitch. Don't miss dinner at the restaurant.

Ok ,so, this is the newest Casino/hotel in Cripple Creek. 1st time the wife and I have been to Cripple creek. Unfortunately she is/was recovering from surgery and was using a knee scooter. 1st strike was checkin was at 4 ,let them know we were running behind schedule and we would be late. No worries we were told you have until 2a.m to checkin. We arrived a little after 5 and were told room wasn't available. They didn't know why. Not happy. As you can tell room was nice enough, we made the reservation on Expedia and got a rate of $135. Which was better than the casino was offering by $30. Bed was comfortable, walk thru shower with 2 shower heads which was pretty cool but no bathtub which didn't bother me but my wife likes to soak sometimes. They boast a few dining options but didn't find anything that we were in the mood for. The inside of the hotel does have an elegant feel to it but the casino we felt was lacking in the slot machines as far as volume were used to. It is also connected to another casino which allows you to use a ramp but after that you have to go outside to access the other parts because thier are stairs which if you have a walking disability does not work well especially if it's pouring down rain as it was the night we were there. So the place is not handicap friendly. They do have a nice coffee shop that offers bakery style items like muffins and such to accompany your morning wake up. All in all we felt our experience was fair but nothing to brag about. Would we go back , probably not. If we did it would be more sight seeing and a little gambling but not the other way around. Things might be different when my wife is recovered but our experience left us with a little sour taste in our mouth. Give it a go but don't hold your expectations too high. Than again you might really enjoy it. P.S. They do also have a buffet but we didn't try it.

The hotel rooms are 5 star and the casino was bright, clean and had very comfy chairs. The pool area was great. I do wish they had a hot tub, though. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.

I'd come back and stay again, but hope they can fix the drains and provide better comfortable pillows next time.

For a hotel in a historical district, the room felt comfortable. Of course it was just the basic for room but without a refrigerator or microwave. I believe we could have asked for one but it was only one night so I didn't bother. One downfall was the bar was not tended regularly as I couldn't find him half the time and also not once did I get asked for a drink while I was gambling either.

I have always struggled with the fact that they have no cocktail waitresses and only one bartender for two floors and the 400 machines they boast except on Friday and Saturday when they have 2 bartenders in total and discovered that on Sundays over long weekends (like Labor Day), there is only one bartender as it is not a Friday of Saturday. These poor bartenders have to go to the floor to take orders as well as the bars. Good luck getting a drink. Now they have changed the rules for their Premier Club so that they only comp your rooms if you go to the desk each night and ask them to in spite of earning enough points to get it comped. Their site does not say that and I received nothing in the mail nor in my email noting this change. My rooms were always automatically comped. I travel with a small dog and when I went in February, I was still able to use my points to pay the $100 pet fee as I aways have now you can only use your points dollars for food and, even at that, the money you transfer for food expires in 24 hours. All of this intended to keep you from cashing in on your rewards. I only found this out when I checked out and they charged me for the room and pet in spite of earning nearly 6,000 base points during my stay worth $600 in rewards. When I was justifiably mad and voiced my frustration, a security guard got in my space and told me to leave "Now!". I asked him, "what, I am not allowed to get upset?" he replied, "no, leave now!" and stepped within reach of me to intimidate me to leave. Clearly he had no training in de-escalation or customer service. When I said that I will never come here again, he replied, "we don't want you back, leave NOW!". I left and will never return again. During my stay I heard numerous patrons complain about the casino changing their rules one of them was a very loud and upset self-described platinum member. I note that they installed a new computer system while we were there and shut down the casino playing from 1:30 AM to 6 AM two nights in a row. After the change, we only lost and lost big. Too much of a coincidence for me.

We were approached 3 times about it and they tried to send us on a guilt trip. It made us feel weird. We were asked what we like for breakfast and told them we don't usually eat breakfast but indulge in pancakes when we do. We were told the manager doesn't do sweet. He only likes eggs. Breakfast the next morning was awkward as he hovered while we got coffee. We literally had to excuse ourselves to get around him to our table. He brought us fruit and told me I wasn't eating it the way it was staged. I was confused and it made me ill at ease. That was the end of breakfast for me. I didn't want anything more. Good coffee though. It's a cute school house turned into a B&B. The managers should let folks relax a bit more on their trip and not worry about the details.
