Joe serves Sahlens natural casing hot dogs which I had never tried, but they are now on my favorites list. Sahlens are made in Buffalo NY, and Joe also introduced me to another Buffalo favorite, Loganberry drink, a blackberry-raspberry hybred, which I found very refreshing. There are strawberry fields and packing houses. Today's strawberries are on the hard side and rather sour. Yeah, I know this is a 'hot dog stand' but it is so much more than that... it is sooooo good. Today, I had a Chicago dog and a Spicy Polish Sausage for lunch and they were delicious... That Chicago dog had all the RIGHT ingredients with the GREEN relish, peppers, pickle spear, celery salt, yellow mustard, and poppy seed bun. The owner said the ingredients so fast that I almost missed it. But the cadence he used reminded me of the Big Mac description (two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickle, onions on a sesame... well you get the picture). They grill their dogs and it was great. Next time I am going to have to try their chili dogs, so I hope we get them on regular rotation here at PODS. You can see that the owners care and put their handprint on the quality they deliver. I recommend a visit where it is here in the parking lot of PODS or wherever you may find them.

It had the potential to be very good but the mango was not ripe at all. It was very firm and flavorless so I didn't get the balance of sweet, salty and spicy. My advice would be to use riper mangos that are sweet to bring the full flavor out. Also, the price is a bit much. This small container was $9.33. It should be around $6.00.
