I bought a used SUV from this dealership a few years ago and it was good. The salesperson Scott was responsive and the post-purchase follow-up was great. I just purchased a new vehicle here in 2024 (30k+ purchase). I did notice that the washer fluid reservoir was empty and wondered what else got missed during the prep. I included that in my messages. I've had no follow-up whatsoever from the salesperson or the dealership. That was over a month ago. Still disappointing that there was no follow-up from the dealership or the salesperson. I miss the personal touch from the 'old' days. Seems to be about closing the sale nowadays, and seeya. read more

Our F450 truck broke down just 2 miles from this dealership on a Sunday. We knew it was a simple repair as it was obvious once we located the blown hose. We had it towed there, we live in Evansville which is only an hour away. A friend came and picked us up. We called on Monday to see when they could get this simple repair done so we could return and pick it up. They were so rude. They said we can't look at it for a month. Yes, a month. They made no effort to help us. I realize we did not buy the truck there as they don't keep King Ranch 450's on the lot. We will never consider making a purchase from them in the future! read more

The transmission cooling lines were leaking. we took our Explorer in. I also mentioned that the shifting (range) sensor needed to be adjusted since the car wouldn't start or shift while in reverse part of the time. They replaced the rad instead of replacing o-rings, then ignored the range sensor issue. Don't bring your car there. read more

Sold me a $13,000 car with multiple expensive problems. Only giving them 2 stars because the day after I bought the car the engine light came on and they paid to have to looked at and fixed at don moore. Leon was super kind to me throughout the process of buying the car and helping me get the first issue fixed without too big of a hassle. Unfortunately, barely over a month of purchasing the car and now the car has more problems and drives horribly. Just took it to get looked at today and was told the alternator was bad. Judging by the responses Champion leaves on other bad reviews they probably won't own up to ripping off a 21 year old. read more

Incredible service. We were planning to purchase a Ford Raptor from them and due to unforeseen circumstances we had to back out of the deal last minute. My Ford F350 and I were in a crash on Feb 16th during the ice storm. I was very distressed about because it was deemed a total loss and it only had 150,000 miles on it and it was only a 2006. I had been driving it for 11 years and it was a good friend of mine, as weird as that may sound. Anyway, I reluctantly started looking for a new vehicle and of course went to Champion because I'm a Ford lover and I believe in buying local. The first day I went I got an uninvolved salesman and was very disappointed. He didn't seem to listen to me at all and I felt very dismissed. However, I went again about a week later and was approached by a caring young man who took the time to listen to my needs. I feel so badly that I can't think of his name right this minute. I really want to say Preston but may be so wrong. He only started with Champion in Feb. But he took his time with me and answered all my questions and found out information for me. He went along with me on several drives with several different vehicles and I decided to go with a used Ford F150 2018 fully loaded Platinum series with under 35,000 miles. So I ended up having a positive experience thanks to him. I told him I would recommend your store only due to him. read more

Spent 32K for a used certified preowned truck, dealer wouldnt provide second key fob, a requirement on a CPO vehicle, no owners manual, and shop did not pull the code for the door combination. Makes you wonder if the 172 point inspection was actually done. Now i have to either make the 250 mile round trip to you to get the door combination, or pay a local dealer to do what should have been done by you in the first place. Have to pay someone to make up a second key fob, again a requirement for a dealer to provide on a cpo vehicle. My salesman was good, Ms. Linda in finance was great, my beef is with the management. Bottom line, make sure you get everything you are entitled to, before signing the papers. I would not recommend this dealership. read more

If you're a woman, don't take your car there to be worked on. They will take advantage of you. My husband and I decided to buy a new car with the settlement he got. We went to Champion Ford and bought a new Ford Escort. After we put on a few thousand miles I took it in for an oil change. My husband usually took care of the oil changes but he was an over-the-road truck driver and gone a lot. When I took it in they said my airflow sensor was out. I said ok, change it. That oil change ending up costing me over $200. So I took the car home. Drive it and had the oil changed several times. For the next oil change, I needed a new airflow sensor. What!?!? Again?? This went on for a long time. Every 20,000 miles I needed a new airflow sensor. Then my daughter decided she was going to drive it with the thermostat out. It overheated and warped the heads. So I had to take it to have the engine overhauled. This time, I took it to a different mechanic. When I got the itemized list of repairs, I was surprised to see that he didn't replace the airflow sensor. I asked why not. He said that all he had to do is blow it out and it would be fine. I told him that Champion Ford was replacing it every 20,000 miles at $200 a pop. He said that sometimes mechanics will do that to a woman. He said that he was honest and wouldn't do that. My husband and I are familiar with old-school cars. We know nothing about these newer cars that will do everything but the dishes for you. read more

These guys went out of their way to let me drive multiple cars and were very knowledgable in the info they supplied. What I didn't like was that sometimes it felt they weren't being completely honest based on wanting to sell me a specific model. For example, I was testing a 2.0L which they were trying to sell me on and when I asked about the 2.5, they told me it pretty much drove the same way. Upon further research, this was not true and the model I'll actually be buying. I guess it's somewhat subjective but to me, not really. read more

Vehicle went in for a recall fix in August and two months later I got concerned because they still had our vehicle and weren't helping us with any sort of ride or anything yet we're still making payments and going without a car and so I started doing some investigating and I came across a documented odometer rollback on our vehicle that they clearly attempted and I can only say this for certain because they publicly posted the vehicle we purchased for sale on their car lot September 9th of 2023 The documented odometer roll back was performed September 18th of 2023 full-blown proof they had it in their possession when the odometer roll back was documented. So we tried to return the vehicle and they have stonewalled us every single chance they get. It is now been a year and a half We have now got authorities involved the attorney general involved it has been a mess I am warning everyone stay far far away from this business. On top of all this they continue calling us telling us we have positive equity in our vehicle and that we need to bring it in for a trade-in but then when we ask them if they take trade-ins with documented odometer rollbacks on the car history report they tell us no. Which is absurd because they sold us the vehicle in the first place and they are refusing to help us return it. Who really would want to buy a vehicle with a documented odometer roll back on it nobody not a single person and especially not anybody who puts $20,000 down on a vehicle. You know how long it took us to save that money? We tried to give them a chance to make things right. They chose to lie, deflect, and deny responsibility. This place is not honest, not helpful, and absolutely not worth the risk. Don't learn the hard way like we did. They sent the attorney general fraudulent invoices with mismatching dates the receipt we received when we picked up our car after the recall was performed States what recall who did it All the information it needs to have and the invoice they provided to the attorney general shows that they did that same exact stuff and the same exact recall on a different date you can't do the same exact recall on a different date you just can't. It's fraudulent they are producing fraudulent paperwork to authorities on our case It's absurd don't buy from them

We purchased the warranty that Champion 54 Auto Sales recommended because we trusted the dealership to stand behind the products they sell. That trust has proven to be misplaced. The cost of the extended warranty was added directly into our bi-weekly car payment, and every payment has been made on time. On July 5, 2026, with approximately 1,100 miles of warranty coverage still remaining, the engine suffered a catastrophic failure through no fault of our own. Following the dealership's instructions, we paid to have the vehicle towed to Champion Ford, their sister dealership, for diagnosis and repair. Champion Ford contacted us for authorization to tear the engine down, explaining that if the failure was determined to be our fault, we would be responsible for an $875 teardown charge. We agreed because we knew we had done nothing to cause this engine failure. After the inspection, Champion Ford determined the failure was not our fault. At that point, Wynn's Extended Care Warranty became involved. Wynn's required additional teardown procedures, eventually requiring the engine to be sent to a machine shop. Champion Ford has reportedly informed Wynn's that the engine damage is catastrophic. Despite that, Wynn's has allegedly refused to authorize a replacement engine and instead wants individual components replaced. When an engine suffers catastrophic internal damage, replacing a handful of parts is not the same as replacing the engine. We have also been told that a mechanic will not warranty an engine that has experienced catastrophic damage and only received partial repairs. Today marks seven weeks without our vehicle. For seven weeks we have continued making every payment on both the vehicle and the extended warranty while receiving no loaner vehicle, nor a rental vehicle.

Thankful to get in touch with just the right person! Denise was amazing! I spoke with someone a couple of months ago who stated they would order a recall part, and contact me when it came in. The car actually had two recalls, but the first person said they would have to "determine for themselves" if it needed the second recall replacement, and I knew it did. (Not to mention it would have meant two trips for me out of town to pick up the car and return it instead of just one! It was blatantly obvious there was an issue! When I finally called to see if the part was in, Denise couldn't find my order. I explained what I needed, and told her about both issues. She said not to worry; she would order everything that I needed. She called me when they arrived, and gave me time to get the car from my daughter's college town, and I took it in early the next week. They completed the job for both recalls, changed out parts, and changed the oil in less than 4 hours. I was extremely impressed, and pleased with the Service Rep. If every Rep is a good as Denise, Champion must have a great crew! Thanks! read more

I took my Ford in for an inspection because I was told by the local Firestone that I needed to replace my sway bar and bushings. However, when I brought my vehicle to Ford they inspected it within an hour and found that only my front rotors needed to be smoothed out. They also completed the repair within another hour. Their entire staff was courteous and professional in their interaction with me, even tho I was 15 mins late for my appointment that morning, down to Adrian who drove me home and picked me up when the service was complete. And they gave me an excellent price. I have never had a better experience at a dealership. I know this post sounds like BS but its a true story. I had been shopping and looking at different types of vehicle. Nissan Rogue; Toyota CRV and RAV4; and Ford Edge and Escape. I went to the website and saw the 2018 Escape. It had all the features I wanted. My mother purchased her Escape there and recommended Andrew Davis. I met him took the vehicle for a test drive and in less than 24 hours. Had a hard time getting the Service Dept to get back with me. Had to go several different ways to get in touch with them..Once someone got back with me, I got my vehicle in very quickly ...I am sure this had a lot to do with Covid. Service was good. Had to wait longer then expected about a hour once they got the car in the bay. When checking out I paid and got my paper work. When I arrived home I noticed it stated my car needed several things for example an air filter. No one mentioned it so I had to make an additional trip to get those items taken care of. read more

I took my car in without an appointment because the check engine light came on. Dustin and Brandon were able to work me in and get me taken care of. My car was ready the next day. I do not know if this is purely a coincidence or not, but my truck stopped cold at a stop light later that day. I opened the hood and noticed that one of the battery cables were loose. I had my truck in to get a screw removed and a plug put in to my truck. read more

I went early on a Friday morning and Jason said it would be about 45 mins to an hour wait, which was no big deal. I think it was about 40 minutes and my car was done! Jason is always super friendly and helpful & the service is wonderful! read more
