This was my third time here where I came in without problem. This particular day an apparently untrained and incompetent employee let me in the gym again, where about half way into my work out where I am in the zone and locked in, this AGM called Nicole felt the need to track me down and make me walk to the front to pay a petty $15 dollars, since one pass doesn't cover this location, even though it's a chain. I asked her if I could pay it once I leave since I am in the middle of the work out and she claimed to by a liability issue. So I walk to the front being completely annoyed, to give her the petty $15 bucks she was demanding. I was thinking because it was "liability" I would need to sign a waiver, but of course I didn't have too BECAUSE I WAS ALREADY IN THERE SYSTEM!! So she just wanted to stop me mid work out to collect her hourly wage. She couldn't let me handle it at the end, even though it was her staff that screwed up to begin with. So yeah great job management! Next time teach your employees to offer a little discretion when they make the screw up.

The value is over-the-top excellent, and trying to compare it to any other fitness facility I've had exposure to or experience with...is like trying to compare an apple to an orange! I have witnessed all age groups, and all fitness levels in the studio. It's a very unique and creative structure and style, tailored personally to the individual. They will hold you accountable and push you, yet somehow achieve that delicate balance of knowing exactly where the line is....(so they don't have to place that emergency 911 call in my case? lol) They provide a very warm, friendly, inviting environment eliminating that judgmental and/or intimidation factor that can sometimes be present with these type of establishments? (You won't find any clique groups here!) They really do seem to sincerely care....and you see and feel it in every aspect of your experience. A special personal thank you to Patrick Kucich, who was my trainer for my first two months! While I will definitely miss him, I won't miss the 6 inches on my waist that he helped me lose since my initial check-in on 3/19/14! (Impressive for less than 2 months, eh?) Slowly over the months, I was able to see the changes in my body! I have gained more body strength, muscles, and my arms and legs are more toned than before. The workouts are in a group setting with different exercises and they're never the same the ones. What's also great about Power 45 is that you can go at your own pace & is for all workout levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). The fitness center has all the necessary essentials, such as changing rooms, courtesy water dispensers, towels, hurricane fans, etc and equipments such as WaterRower rowing machines, TRX, weight benches, different medicine ball weights, bosu balls, jump ropes, resistance bands, agility ladders, battle ropes, etc. Also, meal prep plans are available for purchase. The Real Ryder bikes were something else! I'd done plenty of spin classes before, but these bikes gave me a workout I hadn't felt before. The downside of no longer living in Stockton is not being a regular here, but when I'm home for the holidays or other occasions, I try to make a point of doing a class or two. The current Coach, Tara, and her assistant, Veronica, has provided an unprofessional and uncomfortable environment which is very disappointing as that completely goes against what PFT is supposed to represent. There is a lack of respect and support for members when a concern is brought up. As members, we should feel comfortable to express any concerns without the fear of being judged and minimized. Sadly, they're unapproachable and they don't know how to manage concerns in a professional manner. They take things personal and make assumptions that are false. It's already difficult as it is to find a gym where we feel supported. Tara often promotes on PFT's social media as well as her website that all families are welcomed and that she cares about the family dynamic. Although she presents this image to the public, it is definitely not the case. Tara does not know how to manage her anger and becomes very defensive immediately if things don't go her way. She has been very disrespectful and made uncalled comments when I told her that I wanted to leave. I was put on the spot when I didn't need to give any reasoning as to why I was leaving. She was upset and wouldn't let things go. Tara's lack of professionalism and customer service was very apparent. This never happened with Coach Carl. Honestly, I would only return to PFT if Coach Carl came back as sole owner. He would never allow this behavior to happen nor partake in it especially as an owner and Coach. My health and overall well-being is my number one priority and that is why I decided to leave this toxic environment.
