Unprofessional Management and Pushy Sales Tactics…read more I came to this LA Fitness location with a 3-day guest pass, hoping to get a genuine feel for the gym before committing to a membership. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. The first time I stepped into the gym, it was just for a tour--no workout, just a walk-through. The second time, I actually worked out and took a yoga class. That's when things went downhill. I was immediately accused by the manager of trying to use a guest pass multiple times, which was completely inaccurate. The day I came in for the class was the first time I actually used the gym. Not only was the accusation frustrating and unprofessional, but the tone and approach made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. To add to that, the sales tactics were way too aggressive. After one class, I was already being pushed to sign up. If I have a 3-day guest pass, let me use it--all three days--before pressuring me into making a decision. That's the whole point of offering a trial period. Between the poor handling by management and the rushed sales pressure, it's clear this location prioritizes numbers over experience. Definitely not the type of environment I'm looking for in a gym.

Candyce keeps it fun while she kicks my butt and changes up my routine every few weeks. She's great at explaining why she's having me do each exercise and at showing me how to do them. Candyce takes the time to make sure my form is correct so I get the most out of every single exercise. I always leave my sessions with her dripping with sweat and feeling like I have just been through the longest hour of my life! Her rates are reasonable for all of the personalized attention but don't expect any frills at this gym. At GIT Right you have to bring your own towel and water. Old school, I know. Just come prepared for the workout of your life.

Joining GitRight has been the best investment I've ever made for myself…read more As a person who needs a lot of motivation to workout, I signed up because I loved the energy and ambiance of their group sessions (that and I needed to lose post-pregnancy weight). The trainers monitor every exercise so that people are doing proper form and are positioned correctly. In the 9 months that I've been here I've had no injuries, and mostly due to them emphasizing proper form and stretching. They pay particular attention to you and your fitness goals, and as experts in their fields, they offer great advice and suggestions to reach your goals faster, whether it be weight loss, muscle gain, endurance, or better nutrition. I'm always raving about how happy I am to have joined. I have met some great people here that motivate and inspire me on a daily basis, and I never thought I could say that I look forward to getting my butt kicked every time!

You cannot put a price on your health and being strong and around to see my babies grow was a must. His knowledge and guidance is truly what turned my life around. He understood my goals and helped develop a custom meal plan and pushed me day in day out to transform my life. I have been coming to Xstrength for years before kids? During my pregnancy and after having my kids, because you feel at home. Both my kids have come with me to the gym to see me lifting. Tai just gets it and so supportive that setting the example that fitness is so essential to your overall wellbeing and being a strong Mommy. The other clients become family and you can't help but to keep coming back. Forever thankful and can't wait to keep reaching new goals the journey has just started and I'm so stoked for what's to come

As someone who had never been to a personal training only gym, it felt intimidating but I quickly seen that all are welcomed, from retired body builders to people knocking on my 600-lb life's door. He has helped me achieve what even I thought was not possible, not only made me believe in myself but has opened the door to a new lifestyle. His workouts challenge and motivate me, while giving me just the right amount of recovery. I like how Tai checks in with me prior to each workout, he is very conscious of working around both old/new injuries adjusting/substituting workouts that are equally effective to gain results - checking in daily allows him to make those adjustments. The gym has various trainers(both male and female) who although, I don't train with them, are very welcoming and helpful. The gym offers various dietary supplements designed to boast energy, focus, endurance, and performance during exercise. It is also connected to a local chef who offers and delivers delicious meal preps at a great price, most of all, I like that he offers but isn't pushy to sell you anything. To think that I had told myself that I would try it out for 3 months and here I am over a year later, having gone from 203lbs to 169lbs, I can truly say I will forever be grateful for my Xtrength Fitness family.

1-20-2026 Steven,…read morethe employee at the front desk, helped me access the black card spa area because my barcode wasn't working. I thought maybe it was because it's not my home gym, but anyway, he activated one of the massage chairs for 10 minutes. (The third one is all the way on the left.) It's kind of an adjustment to return to Planet Fitness after a long break. (I paid for a trainer at EōS with the Will Power membership for about half a year.) Every location has a different layout, but this one is pretty simple. The spa kind of feels like a maze though. The Hydro Massage beds look pretty new and in good condition. There weren't a lot of people using the amenities here. From about 11 AM to 12 PM, I was using the 360. It is kind of cramped at times, but the treadmills seemed pretty open. I feel like for almost every gym, the weights section will almost always be full. I'm still thinking of returning to EōS, since the one in La Mirada took over the Gold's gym, but I need to see the one in La Habra already. The one thing that kind of disappointed me today was the lack of paper towels, but maybe it's because this Whittier location doesn't get as much foot traffic as others.

There are plenty of free weights, racks, and machines, offering a wide range of options for an effective weight-training workout. While I was there, I observed an employee repairing a couple of machines that had obviously become inoperable. Staff is just ok, as the two employees behind the counter did not greet or say a word to customers coming in; they did their job and checked guests in via phone apps. The gym appeared clean throughout, including the gym floor, locker rooms, restrooms, and shower areas. Parking can be a challenge, as the private parking lot is a bit on the small side.

Perfect for younger kids. Parking was probably the only downside. Since you park in the main park area, it was pretty packed with baseball games and birthday parties going on. If you're going mid-afternoon, just be prepared to circle a bit for a spot. Pro tip: get the Groupon! We grabbed a family 4-pack for only $13 way cheaper than paying at the gate, which made it feel like a really good deal. As for activities, pony rides were $10 and the tractor ride was $12. My nephew skipped the ponies but loved the tractor ride. Feeding the animals costs a couple bucks ($2-$3 for pellets), but just keep in mind you can only feed the llamas, goats, and one pony. Still fun though! He also got to interact with a chicken, which he thought was super cool. Overall, it's a cute, simple spot for a quick outing with kids. Just go in knowing it's small and plan ahead for parking, and you'll have a great time!
