I've been training at Xtrength Fitness since April with Tai the owner.. he's the best!!! As soon as you walk in you can see that Tai and the other trainers are all super knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. The gym is private and smaller but has so much more to offer than other gyms.. Tai comes up with fun but challenging workouts so you'll never get bored (but you may want to cry lol). Ladies.. if you've ever felt intimidated working out at other gyms.. join here!! You'll get amazing workouts & results. & You'll actually enjoy going because everyone is so welcoming and just there to better themselves. :)

Went from 228.6 Lbs to 177 Lbs in just over 90 days.... Thank you Coach Max !!

Love this place. No BS, straight forward, results oriented training designed for your needs and goals. My trainer Coach Max asked me what I was hoping to accomplish then designed a workout plan that I could handle. Coach Max also advised me on some key diet changes that helped me get the results I hoped for faster than I expected. I am so grateful to Coach Max and all the wonderful people at Xtrength Fitness for the help and atmosphere. The equipment is functional with a lot of the newest core strength stuff, TRX, Cardio equipment, all the weights and kettlebells you need along with plenty of squat racks. My workouts consisted of mobility work, soft core strength exercises and cardio. I had awesome results in just 90 days. I can honestly say that I would not have gotten such great results in such a short time without the attention and detail I received from Coach Max. Highly recommend my Trainer Coach Max and Xtrength Fitness if you are in need a people who care and a place equipped to get it done....

After gaining 30 pounds from nursing school, I was desperate to shed off the weight. My boyfriend was the one who recommended me to Tai. All I can say is WOW!!!My weight was LITERALLY melting off. Even friends, family, and coworkers were noticing my transformation. Tai provided me with supplements and a meal plan. He constantly pushes me every week mentally and physically. I highly recommend Tai to whoever is wanting to lose weight or transform their body! Plus, the gym is super clean, organized and everyone is super friendly!

With the help of Tai and Lo, I have lost 10 pounds and am getting closer to my summer body goals!

Had another successful training session with Tai yesterday and I am already feeling sore (and this is coming from a previous college athlete)! If you are looking for a trainer who cares about you and your goals, motivates you, and pushes you all at the same time, Tai is your guy! I work for a fitness corporation currently and would never give a dime to any of the trainers I work with. For this reason I went and found Xtrength Fitness and I am so glad I did. Tai and Lorraine are both so sweet and welcoming and have both competed in different shows so you know that they know what they are doing. If you have any fitness goals or are just looking for a lifestyle change, go see Tai. You won't be sorry!!

I regret paying so far in advance and hope no one makes the same mistake I did. Most xtrength clients pay on a monthly basis but I asked my trainer if I could pay by sessions and have them roll over at his discretion rather than pay monthly. This is because I had a lot of saved money at the time and wanted to make sure I didn't waste it rather than invest in my personal health and fitness goals. My trainer was under the impression he could roll over sessions at his discretion and so that is how we continued until recently when the owner intervened and let me know that there was a misunderstanding between him and my trainer, and that my trainer could not in fact allow me to pay by sessions instead of monthly. I think he was just upset because I was trying to not burn through my sessions so I wouldn't put my fitness journey on hold in the event I couldn't pay. He decided to give me a unreasonable time limit in which I must complete my sessions and go back to paying monthly (we were mid March and he wanted me to complete 18 sessions in 3 weeks). I told him that's not fair that a misunderstanding between him and his trainer (not my problem) should come at the expense of a unsuspecting and loyal client, and if he wanted me back on a monthly schedule I could resume paying monthly after I used up my remaining sessions the way I was promised when I paid so far in advance. I told him that he should allow me to finish my remaining sessions the way I wanted (2x/wk) and any future sessions I would pay with the understanding that they were monthly and would not roll over at my or the trainer's discretion. I explained my situation and why I could only afford to do 2 sessions a week for now. I told him I didn't want to run out of sessions which is why I paid in advance in the first place. He didn't care. He only agreed to give me until the end of April to complete my sessions. He told my trainer to tell me rather than tell me himself because he didn't want to refute the points I made in my last text as to how he should own up to their misunderstanding and not place the blame on me. I agreed because I was tired of fighting with someone who clearly didn't care about his clients or where they are in their lives financially or emotionally, he just wanted their money first and foremost. I had 3 remaining sessions this month that I had to just give up even though I paid for them because I was so burned out and exhausted and have a planned surgery in 2 days so didn't want to exert myself too much and be sore going into surgery. I asked if just those 3 could be rolled over for when I returned so I could actually benefit from the workouts. Even though my reasons were valid, he didn't care that working out right before my surgery would not benefit me and cause a painful recovery. He just didn't care about me as a client or as a person. I for one only want to be a part of a gym that cares. Good trainers and good gyms are everywhere. Business owners who actually care about your goals and will accommodate you? Still looking.

Down in pounds and inches, but Im not done yet! Thanks Andy!

That's completely false. There are several restrooms and I've never had to wait. The overall aesthetic of this place is top tier. The equipment is high quality, well maintained, and there's plenty of space to train. The gym is split into two sides and now they even have MAD Pilates, which is a great addition. So far, I haven't had to wait for equipment once. Even when it's busy, I've still been able to get a full workout in without issues. That's a huge difference compared to the gym up the street (Chuze), where you'll often see groups of people camping on the same machine. On weekends I come right when the doors open and it's about as empty as it gets. Perfect way to start the day. One warning though: don't try the peanut butter and jelly shake... unless you want to get hooked. It's that good. The turkey wrap is also a solid option. The staff has been amazing and welcoming since day one. Overall experience so far: 10/10. Highly recommended

The heater being on full blast in the mornings makes it really uncomfortable to work out. The fans are not on, so there's no relief when the heat is running. I mean really how cold can it get in SoCal where the heater needs to be on full blast Also, it would really help if staff wore something identifiable, like a uniform shirt. There have been a few times I wanted to purchase a protein shake, but I couldn't tell who worked there or who to ask for help. Lastly, there have been times when there were no wipes available to clean the machines. Overall, still a great gym, just a few small improvements that would make a big difference!
