Service always wonderful and their summer salad is fabulous. Only Disappointment is that they don't deliver.

Everything was clean and maintained well. Our server came over and took our drink order. The drinks came out quickly. My 7&7 was strong and hit the spot. We ordered the chicken bacon ranch Mac & cheese and an order of garlic Parmesan wings. The food came out fairly quickly and man o man! Everything looked and smelled awesome. Mac & cheese ohh so yummy and such a huge portion, and it was only a side portion. The wings..... the best I've had in such a long time. Perfectly cooked. Generous and flavorful sauce. Bleu cheese, house made, equally as good as everything else. Everything was good and a fair price. We left happy, and full.

We ordered the Rodeo Mac and Cheese and the Bacon Chicken Ranch Mac and Cheese (both in the whole size--think 5-6 cups each!), plus the Rodeo Burger, which comes topped with BBQ pulled pork and crispy onion straws. Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS, and even with our family of five, we still had leftovers. So. Much. Food. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We ate downstairs, though there's a bar upstairs if that's more your vibe. Our waitress was super friendly and even tried to warn us that one whole mac would be plenty--but we wanted to try both flavors, so next-day leftovers were just part of the plan. Pricing felt very reasonable for the giant portions and the quality. Mooney's is one of those restaurants that knows exactly what it does well--and does it really well. We'd definitely come back!

Okay, I don't expect a Michelin Star experience here. It's BWW. That being said, l had one of the…read moreworse experiences I've ever had at all, and definitely the worst I've had in a BWW by far. Walked in here about 930pm last night to sit at the bar and have dinner and a beer after a 13 hour work day. Would have gone elsewhere but not much open on a Sunday night. No host staff when I walked in, floors and dining room visibly dirty. Sat at a bar that had about four other people at it but EVERY seat was un-bussed and there was no bartender. Guy to my right said he didn't know what happened but he hadn't seen her in a bit. Went to use the bathroom and wash my hands since there was no service, looked like a bomb went off and smelled about the same. Whatever. Went back to the bar and waited a few more minutes before a bartender came along and plopped a menu down on the dirty cluttered bar in front of me. She finally bussed the spot when I sat there with the menu in my hands but didn't wipe down until I said something. She was nice enough but seemed way too flustered for how busy she wasn't. Restaurant was out of regular wings. It's a race weekend, so I get that it was probably busier than normal especially with takeout, but it's not like there isn't always a busy weekend about now (that's been scheduled for a year) and can be planned for. Food was fine, had to ask for my celery and carrots a second time. Bartender was not very present and the bar remained un-bussed the entire time I was there. Just zero pride in the product or job at hand, and honestly made me question the kitchen situation too. Seemed like the place was grossly understaffed and the few people that did show up plainly didn't GAF about the place or the customers. I tipped accordingly. Won't be back. I'd rather just go to bed hungry than have that experience again.

Many restaurants in town had long waits, so I was pleasantly surprised when we were able to walk right in... until I realized the place was nearly empty. There were two men playing pool and a couple of people sitting at the bar, and everyone seemed surprised to see us walk through the door. Our server was friendly and told us to sit anywhere. When I asked why it was so quiet, she explained it was the slow season. We looked over the menus and tried ordering chips and guacamole--only to learn they were out of guacamole. Next, we tried mozzarella sticks--also unavailable. As we looked for a third option, my son asked if their chicken wings used a dry rub. The server said she'd check with the cook... and went over to ask one of the guys playing pool. She returned to tell us he was not only the cook but also "a very good pool player." We then noticed no one in the restaurant had food in front of them, the air had a dingy smell, and the whole atmosphere felt off. At that point, we decided not to stay. Back in the car, I checked Yelp again and realized most of the glowing reviews were from five years ago. This might have been a great spot in the past, but based on our experience, it seems it's no longer the vibrant local hangout it once was. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

You order and pay, they hand you a buzzer. When the buzzer goes off you go to the kitchen window to pick up your food. The bar has just about everything you could ask for, including local wines and brews. I just went with a soft drink, my only complaint was they served Pepsi products which I am not particularly fond of, but at least they had Dew. You have to find your own table indoor and outdoor seating. But getting back to the food. Simply put, some of the best sausage and ribs I've ever had. The brisket was very tasty, but a bit more fatty than I'd like to see. Also, I did not see burnt ends on the menu, which is it my go to. The place is clean and the staff are quick to clean tables as soon as customers leave. Overall a very good experience with high quality food. Prices are reasonable to other BBQ places in the area. I definitely plan to go back next time in the area!

Food was good (not the best I have had in New York) Cons. I absolutely hated that I waited in line just to order for 30 mins. Then I found a table just to wait at least another 45 for my food. I have never waited this long for BBQ. You serve your self to get your drink and bbq sauce since they don't add any sauce or put any out on the table like most bbq places. This day they only had one sauce out. The honey mustard. Both the original and the hot bbq sauce were empty. I told the bartender and still nothing. This was a big disappointment to me. This place is a one and done for me. I don't feel I need to go back.
