Okay, I don't expect a Michelin Star experience here. It's BWW. That being said, l had one of the worse experiences I've ever had at all, and definitely the worst I've had in a BWW by far. Walked in here about 930pm last night to sit at the bar and have dinner and a beer after a 13 hour work day. Would have gone elsewhere but not much open on a Sunday night. No host staff when I walked in, floors and dining room visibly dirty. Sat at a bar that had about four other people at it but EVERY seat was un-bussed and there was no bartender. Guy to my right said he didn't know what happened but he hadn't seen her in a bit. Went to use the bathroom and wash my hands since there was no service, looked like a bomb went off and smelled about the same. Whatever. Went back to the bar and waited a few more minutes before a bartender came along and plopped a menu down on the dirty cluttered bar in front of me. She finally bussed the spot when I sat there with the menu in my hands but didn't wipe down until I said something. She was nice enough but seemed way too flustered for how busy she wasn't. Restaurant was out of regular wings. It's a race weekend, so I get that it was probably busier than normal especially with takeout, but it's not like there isn't always a busy weekend about now (that's been scheduled for a year) and can be planned for. Food was fine, had to ask for my celery and carrots a second time. Bartender was not very present and the bar remained un-bussed the entire time I was there. Just zero pride in the product or job at hand, and honestly made me question the kitchen situation too. Seemed like the place was grossly understaffed and the few people that did show up plainly didn't GAF about the place or the customers. I tipped accordingly. Won't be back. I'd rather just go to bed hungry than have that experience again. read more

The ambiance was fun, our server was nice, but only checked on us once. A manager did check on us and brought our food. Then at the end he didnt ask if we wanted dessert or want boxes. Wow, where do i began absolutely great service. Big up's to our server John, I think? Coming in with the amazing service. However i was quite upset when it took a little over an hour and 15 minutes to get our food. Our server tried to take blame, however i will not let that happen to john, what ever was going on in the kitchen needs to be investigated. My friend order 10 traditional medium wings, and that is NOT what he got. After over an hours wait he got only 9 wings that were WAY too hot to be medium. What the heck was the kitchen thinking. And don't even get me started on the fries, cold, flimsy, bland, unsalted, and the list can go on. Also the boneless wing I received were alright at best, the honey bbq was a smart choice but they were all breading and barely any chicken. My son placed an order that came to 81 dollars a few hours ago to have his father pick up on his way home from work. My husband gets it home and the fries we like half orders and an entire burger was missing from the order. I'm sitting here looking at this little bit of food most of which were suppose to be bundle deals and thinking for 81 of my son's hard earned money and him just trying to do a nice thing, what a huge disappointment. The servers here are basically clueless: cannot connect dots, do not know the menu and basically just walks around like zombies. Is that mean? Well it's just that please don't choose to be a server if you hate it that much. We are still in Horseheads, NY only because our first flooring is being replaced with Silver Maple. Can't wait to see it when it is done. Ok so Sheila and I continue to hit the local chain restaurants and needed to watch ok wanted to watch the Red Sox so off to BWW! BOOM game time, half off wings, onion ring basket with the meal beginning with a tasty fried pickles. So you are waiting to hear the results. 4 stars! Came in with some friends, 7 of us in total. The place was completely dead, if it had been busy I would have shrugged my shoulders, went on with my day and not left this review. They were a little slow with the refills and the food took about 40 minutes to come to our table. When it finally got there it was cold. When we told the server we weren't happy with our food she said she would get the manager. Instead she came back a few minutes later and offered a discount of 10% but it did not show on our receipts. She told us they were down a man in the kitchen. We tipped her pretty good despite everything, maybe she was having a bad day. Will never eat here again. read more

A group of us great friends (13) were on vacation at Watkins Glen and staying at Fairfield Inn Marriott. After our sightseeing finished at 7:30pm, I called BWW to make reservation for 12. Whoever answered said to just come but not sure when we'll be seated since she wasn't sure what time the other costumers will leave. I said it's okay we'll wait. When we got to the restaurant the waitress saw us and asked if we were the group of 12 who called ahead. When I said yes she turned around and held her head acted kind of upset and not very welcoming at all. The restaurant had customers dining but not full. As she cleaned the tables she kept looking at us with angry eyes and we could hear the banging of cups and got worst when she started moving chairs. Our group saw her actions from the beginning and wanted to leave but I said I want to talk to her first and made her aware of her rudeness. We are a group of professionals, doctors, nurses and nurse anesthetists and have been to many parts of the US and other countries but never been treated with blatant disrespect. We talked to her and told her that we were offended of her actions. Most of our group left the restaurant and some spoke with the manager. To server K Daly of Buffalo Wild Wings Elmira- you are rude and disrespectful. Check yourself. We may not know your story but that is no excuse for your actions. Don't understand why this place has bad reviews. Its a buffalo wild wings, its a chain... same everywhere. It was quick service, friday night around 10, no one was in there which is so different from the ones we have a home, I was stoked! Sat right away, ate right away. However, our waitress was so overly friendly that it threw me off a bit, I wasn't there to make a friend, I was there to eat. Buffalo Wild Wings is one of my favorite restaurants. It has a great atmosphere and the food is fantastic. I have been to about 3 or 4 Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants in the past, but none like this one. The service is speedy, the waiters/waitresses are nice and polite and the food tastes great. I will however point out that one time I did have an annoying experience with a waiter who kept coming to see if we were all set. I appreciate you making sure if I am happy, but 20 times is a little much. I also had a hair in food incident, but the food was replaced and they gave us extra. I am a freak when it comes to hair in my food and it freaks me out, but it is an honest mistake. The cook even came out and apologized to us. Other than these few mishaps all the other BBWs I have been to have been consistent in service and food quality. I am a fan and will always be one. The place is great! Every restaurant has it's small mistakes, but don't take this review the wrong way. I go there almost once a week and it is 50 minutes from my house. The service is always good. We only go here to watch a game or a match and sit at the bar. It's a noisy restaurant/bar with a crazy football fan here and there. Not overly impressed with the food. However, if you need more sauce or chips, they gladly bring it to you without charging extra. The chicken Flatbread pizza was very dry. Their chili queso dip is great, but the big cardboard bowl is only half full. Not much in it. The wings were pretty good. Prices average. The micro beer selection is fair. I really liked the red wine selection!! We really like the points that add up when you join their blazin rewards program. They expire too quickly though. The food was fine, but it took us 45 minutes to get it, which is not acceptable. After the waitress took our order we never saw her again. We finally got the attention of someone else and she went and got our food immediately. So it obviously was sitting under a heat lamp waiting to be served. It has been awhile since i have been here! The place B-Dubbs has a great atmosphere if you love having every sporting event available on to watch. TV's are in abundance so if you don't get the game on your cable ect you can't almost guarantee they have it! They are located in the Southern Tier crossing plaza with plenty of places around it. So if you hare shopping in the area it is very convenient right of I-86. I really like the decor since I am a sports junky and it was also very clean. I used the bathrooms and I was impressed by how clean it was! The food It has been a while since I had been here. Now they sell the wings by size Snack=5 wings, Small=10 wings, medium=15 wings, large=20 wings. I ordered a medium with half Asian Zing and half honey BBQ. First off my wings came out in one basket all together with no divider. I ask my waitress which side was which and she showed me the sticker and made me feel better. To bad the sticker was wrong. How can you serve two different kind of wings on in the same basket with not even some kind of divider? The wings were all intermingled and a mess Honey BBQ and Asian Zing so not mix well. I also am a firm believer a good wing is crispy all of my wings were slimy none of them were crisp so I was very disappointed. Then the last straw it was 15.29 for 15 WINGS!!!! MOST EXPENSIVE WINGS I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Most places for a dozen are 8-9 bucks. I could handle it is they were really good but that was not the case at all. This place is so expensive for the little amount that you get. The wings are small and they serve them in a small paper container. really? paper for wings! The drinks are really expensive and they tell you that they have a certain beer on special and you ask if that is a special price and they say no it's just what they are pushing that day. too bad because they have a ton of TV's to watch sports on but try going there for a UFC fight and you won't find a place to sit. Fun atmosphere with games and sports, but don't go on a Friday night unless you have plenty of time. Took a long time for food to get out to us and our appetizer came out moments before our meals. You always know what to expect, the service and food is very consistent. The wings and drinks are over priced, but the rest of the food is what you would expect in a chain. I usually go to watch half a football game on Thursday or Monday nights. As for watching UFC there, show up early. Say around 7pm and get comfortable. 5 hours in one seat is a long haul. read more
