I decided to give this place a try given that I can easily walk there, and I am glad I did. I'll say, it's better than any I've had while I lived in Florida, and rivals some of the best I've had in backyards of Friends in my home state of Tx. The batter encased the fish and maintained its crunch, while the fish itself was stayed moist and flaky throughout the meal, which is a difficult feat to accomplish. Especially when you consider the mountain of fries cooked crispy just like I asked, and the plate of onion rings that had the most satisfying crunch. Everything was seasoned properly, and most importantly, they had Heinz ketchup. The service was excellent, and I wish I was better with names as I would thank them. The music was a little loud for my liking, but it was good music that listen to, however it's a sports bar and grill and it was a Friday night, if I wanted something with a cozier ambiance I should have went there instead. So, I won't let my personal volume preferences determine what a sports bar and grill should do. Despite the volume, I could still hear myself think and have a conversation on the phone with no problem. I myself am just sensitive to noise. So where do I rank the meal, I would give it a 4.2 of 5. Considering that I am an excellent home cook and rarely find a place where they serve something I couldn't prepare better myself, this is an excellent score. Also considering I've been on this quest for 6 or seven years now, this is one of the highest ratings I've given. I will definitely be returning, and will assess again to make sure that score was not a "fluke."

I appreciate the attempt at the veggie options but the deep fried cauliflower really seemed to be frozen cauliflower which...isn't good at all. The batter had zero flavor. I lied when I said we weren't looking for anything nutritious because I always need to sneak in an order of something with fiber and antioxidants for the temple that is my body. I ordered the side of veggies to achieve that task. They were mushy, clearly frozen veggies that were just warmed up, soggy, flavorless. It's insane to literally sell vegetables to people but then just buy a bag of frozen veggies and throw them in the microwave. Beyond me. The veggie sweet potato fries were cold, soggy, undercooked, and I am not joking or exaggerating, came with an absolute joke of a portion. There MAY be 15 fries there, max. I am actually going to post a picture because the quantity was offensive. They were so underwhelming we just gave them to the dogs. The dogs liked them but my dog literally eats her own shit, so.. This was such a disappointing meal I would never entertain ordering from this place again.
