Blackened salmon, baked potato and a side salad

This was are first visit, recommended by friends. Overall the food had well balanced flavors and generous portions. The blacken salmon was perfectly done with a crispy skinned baked potato(yum) I also had a garden salad which was worth the up charge. The Brisket was very tender with the right amount of smoke. Fries were hand cut, crispy on the outside but not over done, with a perfect amount of salt. The Corn bread was moist ( could have made a meal out of it)- so good) Our server Shannon was friendly and attentive which seemed the same for all staff. The decor fit the vibe, it was neat how they repurposed items like a wrench for door handle. If you plan to go make reservations. We are already planning our next visit with friends.

Just bought property in the area, and we are so happy to have this local nearby. Logan was our waitress and totally gets customer service (beautiful tattoo too). F had the Flood Burger, I had the blackened salmon. Next time I am definitely getting the burger...I am dreaming about it! Can't wait to get back. Full bar and good selection of beers. What more could you want!

Pulled pork sandwich and Mac n cheese

My nana lives a few towns over and I'm in town to visit her. Let me just say this restaurant is very different than the diners this area is used to! We sat outside on a nice patio. We started with the baked potato balls and then I had the pulled pork sandwich with Mac n cheese. The baked potato balls were pretty good-- essentially just fried mashed potatoes. The sandwich was very good (a little greasy) and the mac n cheese was also pretty tasty. The service was nice and not too slow. All around very excited to have a restaurant like this in town!

Portions were huge. Service was great. Ambiance was the best. For a small town it had the taste and options you can typically only find in a big city spot.

Stopped in here for dinner and had some fantastic ribs. The macaroni and cheese, cole slaw, and corn bread were also phenomenal.

Definitely a spot where you could linger for a while. Food-wise, we ordered the fried rice with crispy chicken (breaded in crushed Cheerios--yes, Cheerios, and yes, surprisingly delicious!), the bánh mì, and the crispy chicken sandwich, which ended up being the star of the show. Every bite of that sandwich was perfectly seasoned, crunchy, and satisfying. We upgraded our side to the greens, which came topped with some mysterious orange ingredient--maybe a grated carrot dressing? Whatever it was, it was scrumptious. We also ordered a side of pickles, which were surprisingly affordable and so flavorful that they disappeared fast. We didn't try any drinks, but the menu had plenty of interesting options to choose from. One of my favorite parts of the experience was how family-friendly the place felt: while we waited, the kids grabbed a new-to-us game (The Enchanted Forest) from the board game shelves, which made the time fly by. Service was attentive and friendly without hovering, and overall we had a fantastic experience. If we lived closer, this would be a regular lunch spot for sure!

I was told it's a great place to eat if your in the area. Its located in one of the busiest parts of Elk Country, near Benezette PA. During leaf peeping time-this place was crazy busy but we took our chances. Being very loud... I pointed to the item on the menu, simple chicken tenders and a side salad. She asked what dressing I would like ect. I got 4 chicken nuggets and no salad. She said it would take a while for a side salad, and charged for the side of ranch dressing? My sister, another simple order, chicken tender dinner that came w fries. she asked to upgrade the fries to add chili, waitress say ok. She got her chili on a separate side of fries which she was charged for Next, a bowl of chili- he got a bowl of cream of Broccoli- The only thing that came out right was a cheeseburger! I swear no one is trained right And I'm not sorry for saying this, but if you know that it's the busiest weekend at the end of summer, GET SOME REAL HELP! PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT PEOPLE ARE ORDERING! Besides the gripe, they said the food was good but the service was terrible, at the bar at least.

The visit before last was bad, and this last time was just so dreadful. I had to update my review. Ownership has changed a couple times over the years, and now the restaurant is as bad as you can get. Other than the french fries, my meal was downright awful. The quality of my chicken fried steak about as good as an old TV dinner Salisbury steak. Very low quality pre-frozen portion. The salad bar was OK, but very skimpy compared to past visits., and the bread was stale. The service was terrible too, as we had to hunt down our middle-aged waitress for everything, and I mean everything. She never checked on us until she brought the check, and there were plenty of things that we needed. She never bothered clearing dirty plates or glasses off our table, and was just generally miserable as well. I really hate leaving one star, because I I know how hard it is to run a restaurant, and I really did like this place for so long.

Since we've been out all day we were really hungry so we decided to eat something before we performed. At the moment there couldn't have been more than eight people in the whole place inside and out on the deck total. We were handed menus that had no prices on them. I ordered the buddah bowl with chicken strips and my husband got a quesadilla with steak. It took about 40 minutes for the food to come and the boot bowl was mostly a big bowl of greens with what couldn't have been more than a tablespoon of chicken chopped up on it. It was very tasty. My husband's quesadilla was the size you would expect loaded with cheese but literally one little tiny cube of steak in each of the six wedges. His quesadilla was tasty We only ordered water to drink because we were going to be singing later and it took about 15 minutes for the water to get to us. She "forgot". The whole time we were there nobody checked on us and place never got very busy no more than maybe eight people the whole time. We decided not to stay to sing because there was practically nobody there and the people who were there were outside on the deck while the place for the performers was inside in the bar. And as far as we knew we were the only people there who were planning to perform. The Buddha bowl which would've made a nice side salad to any other meal was $14, while the quesadilla was $13. In my opinion overpriced for what we got. We also bussed our own table.
