This is the BEST light shop in town absolutely no doubt. My wife and I went to several in the area and none were as honest and consultative as Omar. He was an incredibly nice, no pressure manager who gave us his honest opinion on what would work best in our home. He had beautiful display pieces and the entire time made us feel at ease. He never rushed us out, never cared for us to ask questions and didn't try to discount his stuff 60% "if I bought it today" (unlike many others in the are) Omar does all the installs and he did it amazing care and precision. He didn't rush and spent his time making sure each part of the install was perfect. When there was a small issue, he drove back to resolve right away and did not go until it was remedied. I am the homeowner's wife, and we installed more than 48 light fixtures through this company. During the installation process, just one day after installation, a part of the fixture broke and fell, hitting my son. Thankfully, it did not cause serious injury, and at that time we chose not to escalate or take any legal action. However, the main chandelier is still defective -- bulbs continue to fall off, which is unsafe and unacceptable. Since it is installed on a very high ceiling, this is not something we can fix ourselves and requires proper warranty service. We have contacted the company 4-5 times, but they only make promises and never follow through. After receiving full payment, their lack of responsibility is extremely disappointing. After 14 years with traditional dinning light we decided to go for crystal chandelier. A quick google for places brought us to Fondren St. We went to three other light stores along Fondren before we landed at Chandeliers International. Not only that they have the most number and styles of chandeliers displayed in a store, they have the most wonderful and nicest salesperson in town, Mr Monkez "Mike" Barazi, the owner of the store. We don't know much about crystals so he patiently walked us through on what to looked for. Talking to Mike is like chatting to a long time friend. Finally we placed an order and when we picked it up fews day later, we're overjoyed to see the chandelier as it exceeded our expectations. Great chandeliers, wonderfully patient staff. The selection was great for beautiful Italian pieces, the golden standards, and also some modern pieces. They also were able to work with me on ordering some pieces from their catalogues. We had to wait a few extra weeks for hose, but it was so worth it.
