I called to request in home service from this company. My initial call was interrupted by someone coming into the office and the guy I was talking with yelled to the person, "I'm on the F...ing phone. After booking the appointment, I had to reschedule it to the next day. I got 9 missed phone calls from a technician who said I had a remote appointment and he thought I resided in Chicago (I live in the Phoenix metro area). I also received (and then they retracted) an invoice for $185 for the missed appointment. The following day, I received another call from this business reminding me of a remote appointment for the following day. I told her that I did not have a remote appointment but an in home appointment and gave her the name of the tech. She could not find any information and offered to reset the appointment. I declined. I a not sure if this company is a scam and is just trying to get into my computer remotely, but I wouldn't recommend them just based on how fishy things were from the phone calls. read more

Called to have them fix a second monitor that stopped working. By the time of the appointment both monitors stopped working. I gave my opinion that the Video card might be bad. The technician tried a multiple of solutions, and was able to get the system working in safe mode only. The tech suggested that I might want to get a new video card as he did not bring one with him, but was not sure that would solve the problem. After the tech left I found that the only programs that work are browsers and Quicken. None of the Microsoft Office programs work. In summary, I spent $250 to have my thought the video card was bad might be true, and have lost access to my Word, Excel, and Outlook files. I would not suggest you call them unless know your problem can be solved within their capabilities in a time frame you find acceptable. read more

READ THIS before hiring Chandler Computer Repair Company. I had a really bad experience and I want to make sure people are aware before they ask this company to work on their PCs. I hired this company to swap out the hard drive on my PC as my son dropped it and the hard drive stopped working. The technician came to my house and he cracked my screen while swapping out the hard drive. The company did not pay for the screen even though they admitted the technician had cracked it. My PC is an HP all-in-one and I've looked at videos online and most videos show opening the PC from the back side, with the screen facing the table. The technician from Chandler Computer Repair Company opened my PC from the front (i.e., the screen side). The screen was cracked in the bottom left corner and there are marks on the frame that look like the technician used a tool to pry the screen open. At first, the technician said the screen was cracked before he got there - which was not true. We called the office and they were not very helpful at first, they said they were going to open a ticket and call us back. When they finally called us back, they mentioned what the technician had said (that the screen was cracked when he got there) but then my husband remembered the technician had taken a picture of the computer before starting the service. After checking back with the technician, the company called us back and they said they admitted that the technician had cracked the screen and that they would replace the screen for us at no cost. We were very happy with this result, the technician came back to take the SN/model number of the screen so they could order a new one, but after a few weeks, they called us back and said the replacement screen was $500 and that the company was not willing to pay for the replacement. They said that if we were willing to pay for it, that they would replace the screen for free. We said we wouldn't pay for it and demanded they pay, but they didn't. They refunded what we paid for the original service and we never heard from them again. I am not sure if their website says they are insured - THEY ARE NOT. Please consider this before you have this company work on your computer. We had the worst experience ever and hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. If you are trying to decide whether to call this company or not, DON'T CALL THEM. Go with one that is insured and will make things right. read more

I have used a few different computer techs since moving here. I never found one that I wanted to call back a second time until I found this computer company. If you need a computer repair guy that you will not feel bad bringing into your home, this is the right guy.
