I never thought I'd say these words about dental visits but I actually have enjoyed every visit I've had at Posh Dental. Front Mesha at the front desk who is so welcoming and makes you feeling like family to all the assistances and of course Dr.G. I have a lot of dental anxiety and they have been so accommodating. All the ladies are down to earth, genuine and from my observation have "family like" personal connections with all the patients I've seen come and go. One of my appointments Dr. G was running a few late past my appointment and was very apologetic and gave me a Starbucks gift card. I didn't even mind the wait because the the office manager Mesha was such a pleasure to chat with. *Bonus points* They offer a iPad to choose music to listen too with comfy headphones! I've been a patient of Dr David Matter for over ten years, putting up with a twenty-plus minute drive since moving from Gilbert to Chandler. I didn't enjoy the drive, but I really liked him, so my eye never wandered... until one day a fancy mailer caught my eye. I recall seeing the phrase "paraffin wax", and baby, that's all she wrote. After walking into the unassuming office, which faces Alma School (you'll park on the opposite side of the building), I excitedly anticipated which part of my anatomy would be waxed. The office is adjacent to a colon hydro-therapy business, so I really didn't know what to expect. Mesha greeted me, and suggested I take a seat. After blurting out something about spa treatments, she summoned Dawnie, who I immediately took a shine to. She was utterly charming, referring to moi as "sugar" and "honey". Where's the tip jar, cuz daddy's ready to slap it down! After being ushered to one of their "relaxation rooms", and seeing an ultra-modern massage chair, I shifted focus to Dawnie and let out an "Oh Mama!". She coaxed my shoes off, and had me dip my paws into a crock pot of translucent wonder. First the palms, then the backsides. Each hand was bagged and summarily placed into a soft mitten. I was led to the chair, which had foot massage apparatus, which I have never seen before. Asking for a photo, I realized my camera was tucked into my front pocket. Dawnie, realizing I was about to try and stuff my baker-sized oven mitt in my jeans, offered to take the photo and text it to me. The massage chair was activated, and I spent the next 15 minutes in Pamper-ville. Tessa, my hygienist, came to fetch me. She even carried my clod hoppers to the cleaning room. Total sweetheart. After completing the cleaning, I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Caryn Lee. The whole experience was one pretty woman after another. I love ya Dr Madder, but these breezies got me on lock. ps. Since moving to Chandler, we haven't really had the time to find a good dentist let alone a cosmetic dentist, so when my husband was looking to get some work done on a broken tooth, I used my trusty Yelp app and found Posh Dental. I read all the reviews and decided to give them a call to inquire about the multitude of services they offer from veneers to teeth whitening. From our first contact with Mesha, the Practice Manager, to receiving a private consultation with Dr. Gabriel, the service and care my husband received was outstanding. Each and every procedure and work to be done on my husband was carefully explained and nicely executed. His smile is now more beautiful than ever and he's very pleased with Dr. Gabriel's work. I can't say enough about their follow up and bedside manner. The team of ladies that work here are incredibly professional and friendly and made going to the dentist a pleasure. If you're looking for a great place to get some work done make sure you try them out. They are FIVE STAR all the way! PS. Now if you're not a patient and are waiting in the lounge like I had to do numerous times, know that you can hop into a cozy room where they have a massage chair and they're set up to give a your paraffin hand treatment. Zero stars if I could, I'll keep it short as possible. Receptionist extremely short, passive expressive, and makes you feel like an inconvenience repeatedly. Malpractice on crown damaging another tooth in the process, not willing to fix claiming I'm at fault. I'm now going to pay a specialist to fix what was done. My insurance company was charged for services that cost more money than what was done. Now dealing with disputes and grievances. Not recommended. read more

UPDATE:: I've been going to Posh for a couple years now and I can't praise them enough!! Today marked the end of a pretty extensive dental journey for me... and I could not be happier with the outcome!!! I had my front 6 teeth on the top crowned and they are ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. Mesha and Dr Gabriel were so supportive and comforting during the entire process... I would TOTALLY recommend Posh Dental to anyone and everyone. I can't wait to show off my new smile to the world. Such a great place! Everyone was extremely nice and informative; you can tell they know their stuff. The hygienist cleaned my teeth thoroughly and informed me of the best activities to keep them healthy in a nicely manner. My husband and I recently moved from Chicago to Chandler. I've been really nervous about getting new doctors and really relying on these Yelp reviews. My teeth are a little sensitive and I haven't been to a dentist in about 4 years (due to bad insurance) which made me even more nervous. I just had my mind set since the day we made this first appointment that it will be a bad day. I was very wrong! The office was clean and nice. They have a great relaxing area to wait in with a massage chair. The staff was great - friendly and considerate the whole time! I had a few random questions and they were so helpful. Across the board I had a wonderful experience and really do not have anything negative to say. This is my first Yelp review. I left the office about an hour ago and had to write a review. I have to share the love for one of Chandler's finest dental offices! Posh Dental did a fabulous job this morning! I brought my 3 1/2 year old to see Dr. Gabriel for her very first dental visit. Needless to say I was a little nervous, I did not know how she would react. Our experience was stellar! From the warm welcome from the receptionist and the staff to how much care and time Dr. Gabriel spent with my daughter and I! I would highly recommended Posh (Dr. Gabriel) and her staff. It is so important to start off with a good first impression of the dentist and my daughter loved every minute - from the pink brush heads to the caramel flavored fluoride. Walked in the office today to make a new patient appointment for my husband. I walked in, because I am also in dentistry and wanted a visual of the office before just making an appointment by phone. It was obvious it was a no patient day. Mesha was at the front desk "working on claims" and she would not help me. I can't imagine why you would not want to make a new patient appointment and let me and my money walk out the door. I took a card, she said "call me tomorrow". No I WILL NOT call you tomorrow. If you don't want my business today when we are face to face, you don't really want it do you? And for the record my husband probably needs $3-5k worth of work to do. I've been going to Posh Dental for the past few years. My father was my dentist my entire life until he retired from the industry. I was not excited about looking for another dentist. This place is horrible! First, I was forced into the Relaxation Room where I had to put my hands into this hot paraffin wax and wrapped in plastic and mittens. Then I had to sit in this amazing massage chair that made me nice and relaxed. I giggled to myself that the only thing that would make this better is some wine and binge watching television. Then my relaxation was disturbed by the whispering voice of my hygienist. She took me to the dental chair and cheered me on through gag reflex causing x-rays and my examination. The dentist came over and examined my teeth and made a plan for my cleanings and sensitive teeth. Since I didn't have enough of this torture, I already made my next dental appointment, and will dread being forced into another paraffin waxing of my hands. read more

My fiancé has some serious dentist anxiety, and Posh sounded perfect for someone like him, so naturally, I forced him to make an appointment. I then decided to make one for myself. I had my appt the same day. I am VERY picky about my healthcare and I have never met an office so full of friendly, comforting, lovable staff in my life. Everyone from the front desk, to the hygienists, to the dentist herself were so welcoming and just LOVELY! I myself don't have any dental anxiety, but the girls continually asked how I was feeling, asked if I had any pain, and were clearly genuinely concerned with me and my comfort. I am extremely glad that I found this office on Yelp! Dr. was gentle in examining the painful area in my mouth and the whole posh team was super friendly and playful. The atmosphere there was fun and inviting. After visiting my regular dentist because I was in pain the night before, I left his office feeling hopeless and in more pain than before my visit. He sent me out the door in pain with no antibiotics and told me there was nothing he could do for me but refer me to a periodontist that happened to be next door to their office. I agreed and they set me up with an appointment for a month away. After leaving their dental office, hurting, especially after my dentist measures the amount of bone loss in the infected tooth, my co-worker suggested that I get second opinion, and so I found Posh Dental on Yelp. They concluded after taking x-rays and examining my mouth that I do have an abscess and that is below the gum line. My chin and gums were swollen and very painful to touch! They were very friendly and gentle with my mouth. I was in excruciating pain, but thanks to Posh Dental, I am being treated for my infection and I have an appointment with them to do a root canal after my infection is gone. I keep thinking how much pain I would be in if I had not gotten a second opinion. I can't stress enough how awesome this office is. If you're afraid to go back to the dentist - DON'T BE. Seriously cannot express how much I love this place. I've had my share of teeth issues and in my second pregnancy, my teeth became a disaster due to morning sickness and pregnancy gingivitis. My family and I have been going to Post for almost 5 years. After our dentist retired, we could not find a new dentist we liked here in Chandler (Tried 3 before Posh) and then struck PINK when we found Posh! I recommend them to everyone I know but today truly showed why they are just fabulous. I chipped my tooth yesterday evening and even as busy and completely booked as they were today, a Friday during Spring Break, Misha made a way and got me in. After x-rays, my tooth was all fixed with bonding by Dr. Gabriel. She is just amazing. You can't even tell my tooth was chipped! And then....after insurance, I only had to pay $7! The staff and Dr Gabriel were very friendly and more importantly efficient, professional and highly skilled. As a first-time patient I was impressed by how will run their office seems to be. They do digital x-rays here which I am told are safer than traditional x-rays, though I'm not an expert. The hygienist Brenda was highly skilled. We were patients at Posh before when it was Advanced Dentistry. The atmosphere is nice and everyone is super friendly. As for how they run this practice, well that is another story. We got our reminder text to make our cleaning appointment so called to make an appointment for our cleaning and the phone connection was terrible. OK so after clearing that up, they got our info and was told they no longer take our insurance. Oh... actually they honored our insurance for 2 years. OK... WHAT? And the kicker was they don't have any openings until next year... So for 2 years, I've been paying for fluoride out of pocket because I was told the one they use isn't covered. I didn't have a problem with that, but now I'm told they don't take our insurance and haven't done so for 2 years? Um...sorry, letting this go on for 2 years and not letting us know is a mistake. Good luck to you Posh, it seems like you are trying to trim down your clients since you went from 4 rotating dentists to one. This family is going to make changes to our insurance... to go elsewhere. read more

I was just telling a friend about this place and tried to find my 1-star review, but it was still a 5-star review for some reason. I originally gave a 5-star review because my appointment card said I'd get a discount on my next visit if I left a 5-star review, and I needed to go back for a filling so I left a 5-star review to get the discount. That seems dishonest to me, and I also didn't have a great experience on my next visit. The dentist and assistant were chatting like crazy while their hands were in my mouth and I was just hoping they were paying attention to what they were doing. Everyone was super accommodating!!! Had to bring my kiddos w me and had four staff members (including Dr) tell me how great the kids were and that they were welcome anytime! I was so relieved as I almost cancelled the appointment bc I was nervous about bringing them in. I have been going to Posh Dental for a few years now and I am always greeted by the wonderful receptionist. I love the paraffin wax for the hands and most recently I was able to wait in the massage chair. They always take excellent care of my teeth, especially some tricky bonding that I have on my two front teeth. Everything is decorated beautifully including the bathroom. Cleanings are always delightful especially when they give you the cute pink sunglasses to put on so the light does not shine in your face. She made me feel comfortable, was easy to talk to, walked me through everything she was doing while also making me laugh. Dr. Gabriel was the same- informative and thorough. This place has been the worst encounter I have ever experienced. I didn't even make it through their office doors. I called their office to try and set up a few appointments for my family. From the moment the phone was answered, the lady I had talked to was very unprofessional. My intial feeling was that I was inconveniencing her. She was very short and rude with her responses. At one point I asked to speak to someone in charge. She said that she was the office manager and that I could speak to her only. She mentioned her name was Meesha. I did absolutely nothing to this person to receive such horrible treatment. I am floored that this was how I was treated. You lost a family of 6 with Delta Dental insurance.
