Dr. Dawood is absolutely the best dentist I have met in my entire life! She is just a doll and provides exceptional care. Just like her, every single staff is here so welcoming, friendly, and empathetic. I have been extremely happy with all the services I have received here and I wish I could give more than 5 stars. This office offer a comprehensive line of services with the most advanced modern technology. Same day crowns are made in the office using advanced digital technology. She scans the tooth, designs the crown digitally, and mill it out of a ceramic block using a special machine, all in one visit. It was incredibly fast too! Hubby watched the entire process and he was fascinated. Dr. Dawood is the most meticulously skilled dentist I've ever met and she makes you feel sooooooo comfortable. Literally cannot say enough good things about this place and Dr Dawood!!! Like most people, I dislike going to the dentist. It tends to be a nerve-wracking experience where you feel like you're being graded and judged on your home care. In top of that, I have a severe fear of men in the medical field. Nothing has ever happened, but I know my comfort levels, and medical men are not it. The previous office I was at had a wonderful female doctor and I loved her. But between my 6 month cleanings, she MOVED and they replaced her with a man, something they failed to communicate until I was already in the chair. Reader, I SOBBED in my car after. Again, nothing bad happened, I'm sure he's a fine human, but it was not a situation I was comfortable in. If you've read this far, you're probably wondering when I'm going to get to the part about Glisten Dental. You're finally here! I had a Facebook friend recommend Dr Dawood for her kindness, carefulness, artistry, and amazing atmosphere she's created. TBH, I heard she was a woman and said "say less, sign me up!" She is EVERYTHING my friend said! She is so kind, she remembers who you are, she constantly asks if you're comfortable/numb enough/feeling anything, warns you when she's changing instruments so you know what to expect, she is so gentle, and she cares so much for each individual patient. As I was waiting for the numbness to kick in, I watched as she greeted 2 separate patients with hugs and questions about their personal lives (how was your trip? How's your wife doing?), she even made time for one gentleman who had traveled from an hour away just to have her check something on a whim. My insurance forced a change to this office. I reluctantly went as it was 15 minute versus 3 to my old office. I now prefer this office over my one I had for a decade. The staff is super personable. I recently had to have a crown redone. It was the best crown and most comfortable crown ever of my many crowns from multiple dentists. I told my adult son about this place. My son doesn't say much about services in the course of his life ever. He told me "This is the best dentist I've her had." My insurance changed again and I literally drive and pay cash and will stay at this office passing my old office even if I hate to drive . Not only are they punctual with my time, the Dr asks me questions about previous conversations and is caring. Prices seem reasonable too. The whole office including Grace has helped me when I didn't have insurance get it all taken care of when there was a glitch in payments. You'll love this entire staff! I love Dr. Altier and the hygienists. I had to change dentists because I got new dental insurance. I have a slight phobia of dentists because of bad past experiences, but they put me right at ease. I'm breastfeeding and therefore didn't want x-rays and they were fine with that (a large chain that I originally tried said they couldn't treat me without them so I cancelled and left). I needed a new retainer, which would have cost me several hundred dollars through my insurance; Dr. Altier said that I could get it half-price if I self-paid. My husband and I moved to Arizona in March and needed a dentist, we saw a sign for Altier Dental and decided to make an appointment with them for a cleaning and check up. Dr. Altier was wonderful and so was the staff. His office is modern and all digital, which is great. He reviewed my xrays with me and took pictures of the areas of concern. He is a honest dentist. I haven't been in for a dental check up or cleaning for a while and there are a few things he could have easily said needed to be done but he said we could watch those areas. I honestly can't think of ANYTHING they need improvement on. I set up the appointment through the phone, it was a very simple and easy process. When I get there my first impression is how beautiful it looks inside. The receptionist was very nice.. I filled out the usually new patient paperwork and instantly was brought back. The dental assistant was awesome. A great conversationist and then Dr.Altier arrives and was very understanding on what I wanted to do with my teeth by thoroughly explaining what his game plan was to fix them.
