Chandler's Drive In looks like a place your parents or grandparents would have enjoyed in their youth. And you know what? It's as good as ever! My dining companion and I visited on a recent Saturday for lunch and despite the crowd milling about near the order counter, everyone around us received their food on a timely basis. Alot were picking up to go orders, but some stayed, as did we. We ordered a cheeseburger meal deal, which included a small cheeseburger, small fries and a medium fountain drink. We also ordered a Champ single, which is a quarter pound burger with all the toppings and a chocolate shake. Delicious and I will say, if you are a fan of McDonald's french fries, but cannot bother with their wait time, Chandler's does fries RIGHT! Perfect crispiness on the outside and soft on the inside. And there were plenty for two people. The burgers, fries, soda and chocolate shake were all delivered swiftly. The food was hot and tasty! We will return. Don't go here if you're in a hurry, they forgot to make my food I waited 20 minutes before calling in because they have you park and wait for food. Everyone was leaving a head of me. Today I went to Chandler's for the first time with my grandma place our order they got confused on between the single and the triple I got the triple she got the single and they both came out single it's OK honest mistake so my grandma re-orders re-order the single and the triples because my grandma does not like mayonnaise and they forgot went ahead and put mayonnaise so we re-ordered it and they and then they cheated my grandma out of a burger place looked decent. I like the signed NFL jerseys and the army Navy and Air Force honestly, the ambience of this place was pretty good 3 star read more

Local fast food. Chandlers has been around in Thomasville for many years but recently under new owners/managers. Service is always friendly. It takes a few mins to get your food because it's fresh and cooked when you order. Best fast food burgers in town! Generous with your fry servings. And for packaged honey mustard, it is my favorite one in Thomasville. read more

I went to eat in yesterday with a friend. The people behind the counter and they were all very nice!!!! They always are. The food is always great too. Except I wanted something different yesterday and ordered a single chili cheeseburger and small fry. The fries were good, but the chili cheeseburger could've been better. The cheese on the burger wasn't even melted and the chili wasn't that good to me. I have no doubt that if I'd have told them about it and they would have replaced it or given me my choice of sandwich. This is the reason I'm still giving them a 5 star rating. That's the type of place this is. You won't find friendlier people to give your money and business to in Thomasville at a fast food restaurant. Very nice old drive-in converted to a restaurant low prices quick food good quality in and out in about 20 minutes 30 minutes total. Breakfast is great I Had the steak, omelet it was great. A few years ago this business changed hands and I think they had some growing pains. I fussed about it a little on FB (not even an official review) and no joke the owner reached out and asked me how they could do better and offered to refund my less than stellar experience. Since then it's been consistently great, and WAY quicker than during those rough few months. The staff is so friendly, too. My go to has always been the Champ with Cheese (burger) but I accidentally discovered their breakfast recently and now I might have to go up a size in clothes. SO GOOD. read more

This might be one of the best steak philly's I've ever ate. Got it "all the way" onion, peppers, mushrooms. I'm always hesitant having lettuce and mayo on a Philly. But I figured I would try it the way they intend you to. Next time I'm in Thomasville, I will be back for this Philly. read more

Went to chandlers to try it out today for a quick lunch. Ordered a champ burger with no onion or champ sauce. Just lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, and Mayo. Someone tell me why I had to go in to get them to add lettuce and tomato (because they forgot the first time) 2 separate times. (Got food, went in they remade, come out still doesn't have lettuce or tomato, go in again saying they still didn't put lettuce and tomato, they remade it.) STILL DOESNT HAVE TOMATO... that's wild to me, I won't ever be back based on service alone. The burger was ok, tasted kinda like a bubba burger they cooked from frozen. Stop in as much as we can to get their breakfast and were never let down. It's hard to beat their omelette with sausage in it, which is my favorite. The food is affordable and comes out fast. Best spot in TVille for a quick breakfast IMO. read more

I've been to chandlers three times in the last year and they messed up all three times. I want to support local but the first time they forgot fries the second they forgot a burger and this time they forgot my honey mustard. Sometimes the honey mustard is just a step too far. So I'll be speaking to today's ticket #59, not their finest moment. No napkins, no fork for salad, no salad dressing, cookies are missing. All that said this is unusual for them. I usual go there a couple times a month, as a break from chain food, they are family owned and operated. Believe in supporting local businesses, and the quality is usually higher than chain food too. Chandlers in thomasville is definitely a good look. Been eating here since a young jit. Easy on the pocket and good to the mouth. You cant beat the 99cent double cheeseburgers or the $4 10 piece hot wings. Food is always fast and on point.A Thomasville classic and staple. read more

Food is good but I am always parked and the wait is 20-30 minutes for a "fast" food meal. Most of the QSR's in town (except Zacadoos) are this slow so I guess that is normal for Thomasville. I really only go for the onion rings. They might be worth the wait. read more
