Where can you go and get deliciously fried chicken and gizzards for $15?! Maryland's that's where! We stopped here for lunch after seeing the long line of cars yesterday.. That's the Bat signal for me!! Lol.. My man and I ordered 2 snack packs (thigh, leg, fried and roll) and a 1/2 pint of gizzards and 2 cold soda's for only $15.. I decided to give their new breakfast a try a couple of weeks ago while I was visiting my parents. I ordered the bacon breakfast cup. I was really surprised at how great it was. I forgot to ask them to add cheese and extra cheese, but I opened it up and added salt. Grits always need salt to me. But it was piping hot and I was happy to see that it came with cheese and plenty of it. It was surprisingly delicious and to be honest, I could have eaten two! Everything was perfect, amount of grits to bacon, egg and cheese. Bacon had great flavor and nice and crispy. Also really affordable, I'll definitely be back for their breakfast. SOOOOOO GOOOOOD! So we were just passing through to see some family on the way back down to Florida and my friend insisted that we stop here. We pull up to the window and look at the menu posted. They had no menus to give away :/ We ordered a few things. Shrimp and fries combo, fried green tomatoes, chicken and it came with a biscuit. Everything was so hot and fresh and goooood! Please save your money and buy school lunch from a local elementary school. I bought the pork chop. It didn't appear to be cooked thoroughly. I threw it away immediately because you cannot play with undercooked pork - - Definitely not worth a trip to the emergency room. The fries were stale. You'll have to chew them like some bubblegum. The attendant wore a mask, but it was pulled down past her nose, so what was the point? I won't be returning. read more

After sitting in the drive they for nearly an hour and waiting on the side for them to bring it to the car we got cold .. old chicken not worth waiting for. A perfect way to waste Mother's Day ! Don't waste your time thinking that just because you wait a long time it will be fresh and hot!! Not! The food is great, but it is rare to not have to pull forward and wait. So I really hate to go here. The owners need to stick to chicken and stop trying to cook so many different items. They call it a chicken place for a reason. I noticed that a 2 breast box is really a whole breast cut into 2 pieces. This is misleading. I noticed it after I went to 2 other chicken places in Thomasville. More food at other locations. The food is great, the slaw is good as well as the delicious Brunswick stew. But check the waiting vehicles before you pull in. Go back to the old days and stick to what you do best -- fried chicken. read more

Finally tried this place, I drove down from Moultrie on business and stopped for lunch. I ordered the 2 pcs white fried chicken with fries, slaw and a side of fried okra. It was fantastic! Very friendly staff, fast service and food was very good. Hands down some of the best fried okra around. I highly recommend trying it. Wish they would open one in Moultrie. So happy to be the first rating for this place! Just came into town for business from the Northeast, so the name caught my eye, and suddenly I was hungry for fried chicken. Headed right over to pick some up. Couldn't wait to get it back to the hotel, as the delicious aroma in the car from the chicken was intoxicating. First, the chicken: Crispy, hot, moist, and delicious. Nothing fancy about the breading insofar as spices, but it did not require it. Crispy is key, as I have so much fried chicken that has soggy breading, especially after I get it home. I tried a drumstick first, which are not my favorite - I only eat them first because I have no patience, but these were a moist, crunchy treat. Made me rethink how I feel about drumsticks. Thighs, my favorite, did not disappoint. Sides: I only had the mashed potatoes, gravy and cole slaw. The mashed potatoes lacked flavor and salt, but the gravy made up for it in the salty category. The mashed potatoes probably need a dollop of rich creamery butter to satisfy my mashed potato flavor particularities. The cole slaw was a nice, creamy style, and was status quo, which for me means very good. The rolls were good for a yeast-style as opposed to biscuits. Decor and cleanliness of the restaurant: Well, the place is a mess. From dirty tables to a disheveled condiment pack area that needed restocking, to an entire table taken up with the manager's paperwork, well, I'm glad I chose take-out. Friendliness: A+++. The employees couldn't have been nicer, and the manager was so helpful, courteous, and helpful that I believe he has a horse in this race and could have been an owner, if I were to guess based on the customer service that included a plea for me to call first so I didn't have to wait as long. (Wait as long? - It only took 2 minutes to fill the order!) You may be wondering why 4 stars with the cleanliness and sides reviews not the best? Food quality and customer service. Each time I come to my hometown of Thomasville I have to get my MFC fix. I've never been able to understand why there are so few MFC's in existence. Hell, I expected to see a lot of them on my last visit to Maryland. Nope! In regards to their food, I've only had the fried chicken on-the-bone. I've never tried their fried catfish, fried mullet, wings, chicken strips, etc. I have no doubt these selections are delightful but, folks, this is an old-school fried chicken joint. Get the three-piece with fries and slaw, and then just get down on it! No need to get distracted by any other menu choices. read more

If you want chicken jerky this is the place! The fried chicken is so over cooked it is inedible. I got multiple pieces for several people to eat and only one piece was even edible. It even appears unappetizing very obvious it's overcooked. One piece that was supposed to be a breast was mis cut didn't resemble any piece I've ever eaten as well. You people need to go see how they do it at the Cairo Maryland's. They are on point every time. Don't waste your money here. read more

Nasty, dirty kitchen. Food tastes like everything is fried in the same grease. Have lived In Thomasville all my life, and this restaurant used to be a lot better.
