Terrible customer service! Went through the drive thru yesterday and the girl taking my order kept interrupting me. She also asked for my name and when I told her Mary Beth, she said "ok Mary. What can I get you?" I repeated that my name is Mary Beth and she cut me off. We then waited 10 minutes to get to the window only to be told "can you pull up to the white line?" This place is horrible! Service was terrible! The drive thru speaker was broke so you had to place your order at the window. The service at the window to order and at the 2nd window to pick up was just awful! Employees were rude and had customers pull out of the drive through to wait on order. Wish I could leave ZERO stars. I was a frequent customer to the location in Thomasville, GA. Went there on 12/11/22 around lunch time. First strike, fries were luke warm, it's okay, I have a microwave at home. FINAL STRIKE, went to eat my burger, and found a fly in it. NOT OK. I called back, got no answer. Tried again 20 mins or so later, finally got an answer from an unenthused manager. I informed him of my discovery, and he asked me to bring the food back. I told him I had thrown it away and had a pic. His response, "Oh, we can't go by pics, we need the actual food." Ok, great. I took the "FOOD" back, to "the manager on duty",(Tall, African American male with glasses). His response to me, "is that a fly?" Gee, ya think? I rarely visit this location, because they rarely get my order right when I do. Today, however, they completely outdid themselves. I ordered a Whataburger with cheese, all the way, no mustard. Great food and service. It was my first time having it, and it was more then what I expected.

I rarely have a problem when ordering here- if I could give half stars, they would be 4.5/5. The food is fresh and tasty, but like everything else it costs a lot more than just a couple of years ago. The staff is generally courteous and fairly efficient- no long waits for food. I don't recall ever getting the wrong thing, or having the food prepared incorrectly. Worst Whataburger ever. The person manning drive through orders could not seem to understand simple orders. Kept insisting on adding pickles when we emphatically stated no pickles at least twice. She hurriedly restated the order, which she left off a burger. Got to the window, it is a different person, asked her if there were 4 burger combos on the order, she asked us to wait a moment, spoke with someone (who I assume was either the one manning the drivethru orders or a manager) came back, looked us straight in the eye and stated, Yes, there are four. Not to mention, drive through line always takes 30+ minutes, not sure why considering my food is always wrong. One of the only hamburger restaurants that can truly get it right every time. You can specially order a meal and it's exactly what you asked for. Better yet, I like the way burgers are labeled with colorful stickers on the outside of the double wrapper to easily identify each burger without unwrapping them. And a medium drink is the equivalent of a large drink at all other locations. If you eat inside the condiments are very professionally wrapped and easy to use. The tables are serviced often. The ketchup and BBQ are in containers and not the squeeze-out packets. The drink service counter is always neat and well organized. One of the largest burgers around for a great price. I just flat out love Whataburger. When I was growing up it was the exciting burger stop in front of the A-frame building. The burgers always were good and the shakes were special. To this day that hasn't changed. Every stop is for a jalapeno cheese whataburger that is big and good. . It is served fresh and warm and the shake balances it all out. This location is clean and friendly and has let me continue my passion of yesteryear when the Whataburger was just down the street from my childhood home. One nice throwback here is when you are served your order, a server comes and offers ketchup and salt/pepper. It is a nice touch that improves the fast food experience. Love whataburger. Burgers are huge and the drinks are bigger. The fries are pretty good sized also but the food isn't that expensive. My favorites are the honey BBQ chicken strip sandwiches and the bacon whataburger with the strawberry fanta. You have to try the food and its open 24hrs. read more
