    Single Cheeseburger Combo
    Dusti H.

1st time customer at this place. I'd heard good things about it. I was not disappointed. The cheeseburger was very very good. I ate every bite of it. I will say that is more of a "smash burger" style. I didn't try the hotdogs. I've heard mixed reviews about those. I highly recommend the cheeseburger. Nothing fancy about the small restaurant, doesn't need to be. The food speaks for itself. The place was packed with an abundance of different peoples from different walks of life. Seems like everyone knows where the good food in Thomasville is.

Visited again on a busy Saturday. We ordered the hot dog combo with chili and tater tots as well as the burger and tater tots. Both combos come with a drink. The chili is moist enough to be delicious and dry enough to not fall off the hot dog. Chili in every bite! The burger is a true smash burger. You can see the softball sized burger getting smashed on the grill. The tater tots are fried crispy goodness! Try this spot!!

Meh. Menu is underwhelming and the amount of grease is nauseating. If you want a hot dog, go to the Pool Hall downtown or something.

My dining companion and I visited on a recent Saturday for lunch and despite the crowd milling about near the order counter, everyone around us received their food on a timely basis. Alot were picking up to go orders, but some stayed, as did we. We ordered a cheeseburger meal deal, which included a small cheeseburger, small fries and a medium fountain drink. We also ordered a Champ single, which is a quarter pound burger with all the toppings and a chocolate shake. Delicious and I will say, if you are a fan of McDonald's french fries, but cannot bother with their wait time, Chandler's does fries RIGHT! Perfect crispiness on the outside and soft on the inside. And there were plenty for two people. The burgers, fries, soda and chocolate shake were all delivered swiftly. The food was hot and tasty! We will return. Friendly staff, good value for money, and just what you expect for quick service food.

Only complaint was the lady who took the money at the window was not very welcoming or friendly, actually had forgot to order extra fries so had to go back through and she was even less friendly. We just moved to the area and have met only the nicest people, until we encountered her. I'm hoping that it was just a fluke and not a common thing in this community. However, the food was delicious!

I settled in for the fried shrimp, sweet potato fries and coleslaw, while Dawn had the Greek-shrimp salad. We were served quickly and the shrimp was fresh and cooked nicely. I like my fries just a little more crispy than what I received, but they weren't bad. The slaw was good, with just a hint of dill in the mix. Dawn absolutely loved her salad, it was seasoned just right according to her. Everyone was friendly, the waitress made sure we were okay, and the ambience was good. It's a little pricey for everyday dining, but it was definitely worth the price. Give George and Louie's a try if you are in the Thomasville Ga. Area!

Food: I ordered the blue cheese burger, tots, and an ice tea. With tax, $18.33 The burger was very tasty, but it's barely bigger than a slider. The photo I took shows a normal tot in relation to the burger. Tots: cooked right and a good portion. Tipping: optional, and I'm still not sold on tipping for counter service. But here, they do bring it to your table. The issue is the credit card screen; you have 4 options: 20%, 25%, 30%, and "no tip". As I didn't have the option to choose less than 20%, I chose no tip. (Did cash tip the server though) Food good. Service good, value and portion not so much.

Upon our arrival, we we pleasantly greeted upon opening the door with an exceptional blast of cold air conditioning, which was so welcoming. As well, we were greeted by the owner Allen and our bartender Annabelle. I have been in a lot of places with nice people, but none have been as nice as these folks. They were so friendly and accommodating with a wealth of local information and exceptional service. The place had such a nostalgic vibe and decor, which was very relaxing. Being a music lover, who loves any type of music, we were pleasantly pleased with the mix of various rock/yacht rock tunes that only enhanced our experience. We ordered beverages, which the bar had a great selection to choose from. From there we ordered a couple of appetizers, which consisted of fried pickled okra and blue cheese chips with Balsamic drizzle. Both appetizers were so good. We could have made a meal out of either one. After munching on these for a few, we decided to split the Tavern club sandwich, which was so good with more than ample portions of shaved ham, turkey and bacon. This was complimented with their house made Coleslaw. I would count this as a perfect 5 out of 5 establishment. If we lived in the area, this would be our hangout for sure. We loved it. We will be back. Sorry no pictures were added. We were too busy enjoying ourselves.
