The wings were tasty, but they were small in size. The steak was just okay. The flavor was good, but the portion was pretty small. Our favorite thing was definitely the frozen Miami Vice, half piña colada and half daiquiri. It reminded us of the frozen drinks you get in Miami by the beach. Service was great. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, checked on us frequently and showed our pup some love, which we appreciated. We enjoyed our experience and the dog friendly outdoor seating was a plus. I went to their Bayshore location about a 25 minute drive from where I am... Ambience was really nice for a sports bar and they were pretty crowded but their TVs are of super high-quality. I felt like I was in the game.! Our waitress was nice, but she didn't really seem to know the Food of the place that well which is fine. Place was packed and loud but what do you expect from a sports bar on a game day? Down to the food::: Normally I can do about six meaty wings by myself, but we tried to order the smallest portion of bone in (12) and split the sauce, but I understand that that can be a lot for the kitchen! I got 12 of the garlic Parmesan and he got 12 of the buffalo; wings are delicious and these were... I prefer a meatier wing myself but my husband likes wings on the smaller side; sauces were delicious so it was a happy medium! I ordered a burger as well and I knew I had to slow down on the wings if I even want to have remote room for the burger! Eating an every day type of butgerand this one did the job but it wasn't anything amazing and nothing to write home about! Was in the area at the time for the circus, and we were hungry afterwards and originally found another spot, which turned out to not be what we expected, so we looked around and found this bar. They checked us for ID, and since we didn't want to sit at the bar, we had to wait to be seated, which didn't take long. It was kind of busy; it seemed like a bunch of college kiddos were in the place. It was a bit messy, and we had to wait for a table to be cleaned, which wasn't really wiped down. Settle down, and our waitress eventually came by to take our order. It was your average basic bar with typical food. The food wasn't all that good in my opinion and lacked taste/flavor. She disappeared, didn't come back over to us to place our food order. We had to call her over. She bought us our food and didn't check on us not once. They forgot the side of ketchup and an extra side of sauce which I ordered. She didn't come over to ask us if we wanted another drink. Again, we had to flag her down. We also asked for the check and she disappeared. She barely said two words to us our whole visit. We couldn't get her attention nor did she ever look over at us. When I first got here it smelt bad of weed. Which upset my stomach a bit because it doesn't really agree with my stomach. I came around 3:15 and about 3:30 the smell was gone. It was very busy for a Sunday afternoon. Which is good in my eyes. The server that brought me to the tables let me choose between a table and a high top. The high top was a bit tight so I chose the table, which was nice The server I had I didn't hear her introduce herself but when I asked what she suggested for drinks and food, she said for drinks she likes the spicy watermelon sugar high and for food suggested buffalo soldier (which I was a chicken dish), chicken cutlet wrap, and the Bavarian crunch burger. I chose the Bavarian crunch burger and took her suggestion on the drink. The drink was spicy but was nice, and the Bavarian crunch burger was delicious!! Every time I've been on Main Street, I've always seen a great crowd at Changing Times. We decided to go there for dinner tonight. It's your typical bar, but it's nicely done, and has many TVs, they also have a nice yard area with and outdoor bar and TVs. They have a large local beer selection which is really great to see. We decided to order the poo poo platter, which is their sampler. It comes with a handful of their apps which was great to try a little bit of everything as it was our first time there. Everything was great. We then split the chicken cutlet wrap. While it's a very simple wrap, it was absolutely delicious. There were a lot of other things we wanted to try, and we look forward to try more option in the near future. This is definitely a place we see ourselves coming to often with friends. read more

Food quality has gone wayyy down. Everything is overly greasy and cleanliness of the restaurant has unfortunately declined as well. The drinks here used to be amazing and now they are super watery. What happened!! Changing times is changing! The last time I was here was during Hurricane Irene. It was a greasy spoon sports bar and the only place open so we suffered through it. Well last night everything was closed so we decided to reticently try CT. We are so glad we did! They were closing in one hour and when we ordered food, it came out quick, fresh and delicious! So surprising! They changed their menu, including beer selections. Whoo hoo, I am sold! The hell with Bud bring on craft beers. The salad was fresh with homemade blue cheese dressing. The pulled pork tender. Pulled pork quesadillas and a Cuban sandwich. Baby you must try this place again. They are keeping up with the local beer oriented pubs. I always just considered Changing Times a bar that we bounced to when drinking down Main Street in Bay Shore. It's not. It's more! The food was awesome.. I got a salad with grilled chicken, which was massive, and I would absolutely get again! My Dad got the Bavarian Crunch Burger. There are a million burger options on Long Island, and I will 10/10 get this burger again. Pretzel bun, perfectly juicy and cooked. The cheese fries were also delish. Asked for gravy on the side, which was perfect. They have the Schwartz sandwich. My sister and my mom each got one, and I would absolutely get those again too. I've been to this location twice after going to Robert Moses beach because it's open later than some places. It's a sports bar pub place so expect many screens. It's not for a quiet experience but it's a great place to bring a group. Beer on tap though expect plastic cups for everything right now. Burgers, sandwiches, fried stuff. Came here on a Friday night and the service was terrible!!!! Took 10 minutes just for someone to seat us when they weren't even busy and tables were open. Our waiter (Christen) never came over to take our order, she would rather talk to someone she wasn't even servicing. I had to ASK HER to take our order. She acted as though we were an inconvenience. I would be talking to the waitress and she would turn her back and begin to walk away before I even finished my sentence. Waited 20 minutes in between every drink because she never came over and asked if we needed anything. Honestly if I could give this place NO STAR I would because it was that bad. We moved to the island from queens a few years back and it's hard finding pubs with great food/great environment/ great staff and decent prices...until we finally came across this place one evening at the town weekly fair on Tuesday's.. had the pleasure of meeting Nicole the waitress who took care of us. We were hungry so the food was great. We need to return to make sure it wasn't just the hunger that made the food taste great. We went on a rainy day..the food was still great once again and once again Nicole was there to take care of us.. we've been there numerous times now and have enjoyed the food everytime. Only reason no 5th star is cause my wife and I haven't gone there without our kids yet to just hang out and drink the night away...cheese bread/ potatoes skins/ old style CT wings and their MacNcheese are must try! Disappointed by the customer service. Went there with a group of 5 for the subway series. You would think for a big event like that they'd have staff but nope. We waited an hour to be sat and was told the reason was they didn't have enough staff to wait the tables. Then we finally get our table and the waitress admits she "forgot" our drink order. Went here in Cinco De Mayo on a whim. The original plan was to go to a different bar across the street but there were no available tables. Over all it was a fun night but I wasn't overly impressed with anything at this establishment. The music was extremely loud, there's no singing so I don't know why, but we had to tell the whole evening to be able to hear each-other. The severs were sweet and fast but they seemed a little messy , I know it's a casual vibe but I think a put together look would be better especially when food is being served. We ordered patron margaritas, I'm not sure if they used patron or not. When we had the second drink it tasted completely different from the first. We had nachos with the shredded chicken and buffalo wings, neither of which were great. They were just ok. I wouldn't go back here if I could plan for it.
