This place is good for wings drinks and to watch the game. The food to me is more bar food the service especially at the bar with Jackie is great. She's my best bartender. The ambience is nice. A lot of TVs big enough space in the heart of Main Street I had a good time that night eating wings watching the game.

Everyone always loves Changing Times. Consistently good food! Had a quick bite and drink last night. Best Cobb salad in town! They forgot my hard boiled egg and could put a little more avocado but great as always! Place was packed but we did not wait long. Waitress Dorian (I think) was super!

I have been coming to Changing Times for years, and even after moving to Nassau, I still make the drive every so often just for their wings. This place is definitely my go-to bar! From the outstanding customer service to the incredible food, I have yet to find another spot that serves better wings. Highly recommend!

Love the atmosphere here. I usually go to across the street to coastal kitchen but wanted to switch it up with my girlfriend. This place has a lot of tv's and is great for watching sports. I hear Sunday brunch here is the place to be but never came on a Sunday. I will definitely come check it out one day. The staff here is amazing and very great at expediting food. I came here on a Saturday night and played the bar and my bartender was amazing. She was very sweet and outgoing which I loved. She recommended other bars in and out the neighborhood to check out which I loved and was overall a sweet heart. I just came for drinks and a appetizer. My girlfriend loved the chocolate martini's from here. I just went with a few local Long Island ipa's. We ordered a pretzel for an appetizer that was big enough to feed 4 people and was very good. I definitely look forward to coming back and trying different food options. Kitchen open to 2am and great food and vibes. If your looking for a new scenery I highly recommend checking out this bar located in bayshore. They neighborhood has a-lot to offer and so many different bars and restaurants in the area.

When I first got here it smelt bad of weed. Which upset my stomach a bit because it doesn't really agree with my stomach. I came around 3:15 and about 3:30 the smell was gone. It was very busy for a Sunday afternoon. Which is good in my eyes. The server that brought me to the tables let me choose between a table and a high top. The high top was a bit tight so I chose the table, which was nice The server I had I didn't hear her introduce herself but when I asked what she suggested for drinks and food, she said for drinks she likes the spicy watermelon sugar high and for food suggested buffalo soldier (which I was a chicken dish), chicken cutlet wrap, and the Bavarian crunch burger. I chose the Bavarian crunch burger and took her suggestion on the drink. The drink was spicy but was nice, and the Bavarian crunch burger was delicious!! I felt like I had to unhinge my jaw to eat it though. I asked for medium rare and that's how it came out. The drink is served with a lime wedge in case you can't take lime.

My boyfriend and I have been here multiple times since moving to the area. Drinks are well priced and they have a bunch of beers on tap. My boyfriend loves the wings and I have had their Caesar wrap a couple times and it's worth it! We come to sit at the bar and watch sports game or grab a table. We come frequently!

We decided to eat here today, the place was nice, with a good vibe, all the food was good, except for the Argentinian steak (skirt), we asked for medium rare, it came out medium to medium well, and to make it worse, it was cold, but our waitress was great and very accomodating , the burgers were very good and overall we enjoyed the food and had a good time, will definitely return

Every time I've been on Main Street, I've always seen a great crowd at Changing Times. We decided to go there for dinner tonight. It's your typical bar, but it's nicely done, and has many TVs, they also have a nice yard area with and outdoor bar and TVs. They have a large local beer selection which is really great to see. We decided to order the poo poo platter, which is their sampler. It comes with a handful of their apps which was great to try a little bit of everything as it was our first time there. Everything was great. We then split the chicken cutlet wrap. While it's a very simple wrap, it was absolutely delicious. There were a lot of other things we wanted to try, and we look forward to try more option in the near future. This is definitely a place we see ourselves coming to often with friends.

    Drunken Deliciousness - thanks, Sam!

Good bar, big menu, great specials. Had the Cobb salad (for $18, it should be much bigger). My friend had the "Whattafriggin'" burger which looked divine/enormous! A little distracting/overwhelming with so many TVs playing different things on each - but definitely won't miss any shows/games when you're there!

There are several locations throughout Long Island, so I can't attest to the consistency spot to spot, my experience at this one in Bayshore was great. There was an overall chill Friday night ambiance, watching sports and hanging with friends. We sat at the bar and had no problems quickly ordering and getting our meals. Prices are pretty standard for the Long Island bar scene. All the food was great though. I personally had the chicken avocado wrap with sweet potato fries, and you know a place is good when the fries have special dipping sauce just for them. The wrap was perfectly mixed together (not just thrown on in chunks) with a good sauce distribution to ensure each bite was enjoyable. Great meal and spot to have if you want to have some drinks and food and go right out on the town afterwards.

That was kind of the case a few weeks ago at Dark Horse Tavern in Bay Shore. I came here with some buddies for dinner on a Sunday night and things were totally fine. I mean like I said, I can't speak to anything being truly negative. Dark Horse had a relatively spacious and inviting interior with a little holiday flair. Our waitress was friendly enough and our food came at a good pace. And what I ordered wasn't too shabby...though I guess if there's anything to say about my three star feelings, it might be there. Now Dark Horse did have a decently-sized menu, but after visiting a brewery prior to this dinner trip, I was feeling something simple like a burger. Featuring a juicy Lucy sounded like a win as did the idea of Cajun fries. Those spuds were rather good, though the juicy part of said Lucy wasn't really that juicy. Despite having never been to Minnesota, I know this type of burger really needs some gooey cheese coming out of it and this one lacked that. The burger itself was good, but like an "easily-forgettable" good. The same could be said for their Dark Horse Lager beer. I've been to other Dark Horses on the island and have seen (and I believe had) this brew, but for whatever reason it just seemed very bland and basic. Perhaps after having some more elaborate beers prior my tastebuds were looking for something with more zing, but I can't say for sure. All I know is between this and the basic burger, I really didn't have anything great (or ultimately negative) to say. Overall, yeah I suppose some of that sounds negative and a three star review feels a little meh towards other prospective eaters and readers of this review, but that's me telling the truth here. If I were in Bay Shore and someone suggested Dark Horse for dinner I probably wouldn't say no because just about everything will be decent enough, but if you're specifically asking me for recommendations in the area, I'm probably going to mention a bunch of other places instead. Just sayin'.

The Vidalia onion soup was honestly the best onion soup I've ever had, and I'm a huge onion soup fan. I also loved the maple bacon mac and cheese, which struck a perfect balance between sweet and savory. My daughter enjoyed the Georgia wings and sweet potato fries with a marshmallow dipping sauce. Everything was packed with flavor. The cocktails were equally impressive. I had the Georgia-themed Old Fashioned, while my daughter tried the Guy Fieri-inspired Georgia margarita. Both were creative, well-balanced, and memorable. As a mobility disabled person, accessibility is always important to me, and Roadtrip did very well. What's not okay is having content creators with their bright lights blinding the patrons next to them.
