As someone who has traveled to all 50 states, I couldn't resist checking out Roadtrip Bayshore. The concept is fantastic: the menu changes regularly to highlight a different state, and during my visit it was Georgia week. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The Vidalia onion soup was honestly the best onion soup I've ever had, and I'm a huge onion soup fan. The crab cake bites were among the best crab cakes I've had anywhere, which is saying a lot because I've spent years searching for great crab cakes. I also loved the maple bacon mac and cheese, which struck a perfect balance between sweet and savory. My daughter enjoyed the Georgia wings and sweet potato fries with a marshmallow dipping sauce. Everything was packed with flavor. The cocktails were equally impressive. I had the Georgia-themed Old Fashioned, while my daughter tried the Guy Fieri-inspired Georgia margarita. Both were creative, well-balanced, and memorable. As a mobility disabled person, accessibility is always important to me, and Roadtrip did very well. There is plenty of parking behind the restaurant with an accessible route to the entrance. Inside, the aisles are wide, the seating is flexible with movable chairs, and the restroom is fully accessible. The only thing keeping it from a perfect accessibility score is the lack of automatic doors. Food: 11/10 Cocktails: 10/10 Accessibility: 9/10 Roadtrip Bayshore earns my highest recommendation. I had the opportunity to check out Roadtrip with a friend on a weeknight. The premise of the restaurant is that every week they highlight a different U.S. state, creating entrées, appetizers and drinks that showcase the selected state's leading agricultural industries and cuisine the state is known for. The menu and food were excellent, there's truly something for everyone. We opted for the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer, and our entrees were the Brisket Horseradish Stack and the Blue Summit Burger. The service was great - the wait staff, attentive. What unfortunately has left a lasting impression and may be the reason I don't go back is they're okay, and likely encourage (based on their IG) content creators to visit. I understand in this day and age, exposure means everything. Getting a viral video could mean the definition of sink or swim in a competitive industry. What's not okay is having content creators with their bright lights blinding the patrons next to them. Having a bright camera light shone in our faces several times through our dinner soured the experience. I hope in the future the staff, and the owner (who was there), are more conscious of the dining experience for others. read more

This restaurant has a great concept, visiting different states and flavors unique to those areas. They have standard menu as well as a rotating special menu dedicated to one state. We visited on Ohio week. The service is friendly and welcoming. Our waitress was Carissa and she was great and knew everything about the menu and had good suggestions. The bartender Jemel even came over to check on us and he made amazing craft drinks. The burnt sugar old fashioned is one of the best old fashioned's that I have had! The espresso martini and Ohio based old fashioned were good too. The food was outstanding, the spinach dip in the bread bowl was extremely good . I tried the Ohio rock and roll Au Poivre burger and it was delicious. Everyone in our group said it was good and we look forward to coming back to try other menus. We had 10 delicious dishes from Vermont Maple Peppered Bacon, Texas Brisket Horseradish Stack, St. Louis BBQ Ribs, Bronx Pork Cutlets, Crab Cakes, seafood Stew and so much more. You could tell they were really trying but they totally needed additional help, but were so knowledgeable and friendly. We ordered some yummy apps and entrees. I loved the goat cheese balls! Stopped in on a Sunday after a basketball game ! I had found them initially on Instagram and had to try it ! They had great music and it was cozy. The Gold Rush Martini was the highlight of the cocktails--a perfect balance of citrus and white cranberry flavors, not too strong, just delicious. My friend had the Road Soda and loved it as well. For appetizers, I tried the Grilled Pineapple Chili Lime Brussels Sprouts. While creative, the sweetness didn't quite match my taste expectations--but that's just personal preference. The Cowboy Bloom Lavender Chicken, on the other hand, was absolutely fantastic. Tender, juicy, and with that dreamy lavender honey butter sauce--it was so good we took leftovers home. We finished with desserts: the Buckeye Cheesecake was a peanut butter and chocolate lover's dream, and my friend adored her California Carrot Cake. Tried both the regular menu and the Nebraska themed menu this week and everything was honestly so impressive. Food was excellent across the board. The spinach and artichoke dip in the bread bowl was super cheesy and flavorful, and the smoked gouda mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and the perfect comfort dish. From the Nebraska menu, the bison and beef sliders were juicy and unique, the beef and venison stew was hearty and warming, and the strip steak with cheddar chive grits was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. Service was great throughout the night. Staff was friendly, attentive, and took the time to explain the themed menu which made the experience even better. I've been meaning to check out Roadtrip for a while now. The concept alone intrigued me. I love the idea of highlighting foods from various states across the US and bringing them into our backyard. For starters, we ordered the Boston Harbor Mussels. The sauce was flavorful, and the mussels had a nice texture. I did get a little sand in one, but it didn't happen again. For our main meals, I ordered the Oxford Shrimp Burger. The French Fries were hot, well-seasoned, and crispy. The Shrimp Burger was good. The Brioche Bread was soft and warm, however, I do wish the burger were seasoned a bit more. My husband ordered the Brisket Horseradish Stack. The Brisket was tender, drizzled with sauce but not soaked. The Texas toast wasn't available, but regular bread was, and it was still delicious. My husband devoured it! For dessert, we both ordered the Lemon Cake with/ blueberry drizzle. It was served cold but tasted even better at room temperature. The cake flavors were bright and refreshing. Each cake slice was large, so you could easily share this item or eat half and save the other half for later. This place is worth trying because of its inviting atmosphere, quality food, excellent service, and endless culinary possibilities. We recently visited Roadtrip in Bay Shore during their Texas Week special menu, and it was such a great experience from start to finish. Came here during Long Island Restaurant Week. I thought the food was good but a bit pricey. I had the New Orleans Mussels for my first course. The broth and pita that it came with was good, but I'm more a fan of the traditional mussels. For my second course, I ordered the Fiery Bayou Seafood Tagliatelle and thought it was delicious. The spicy garlic and white wine sauce was very flavorful and went perfectly with the pasta. I had the California Carrot Cake for my third course. I thought it was good but a bit too sweet. I found this place while looking for a place to go out for dinner while some friends were in town. I found the state themed rotational menus intriguing so we decided to try it. We went during west virgina theme week. The waitress told us that they source everything from the state that the menu is from. The themed menus include food and drinks. They also have a regular menu, with what I assume are some of the favorites from other state menus. We got the herb cream cheese stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer that came with a garlic ranch dressing from the regular menu (Pennsylvania dish). They were delicious. They were breaded and baked which I found to be a unique twist to a stuffed mushrooms recipe. Everyone loved them. I got the Cowboy Bloom Lavender Chicken from the regular menu as well (Wyoming dish). And it was delicious. The lavendar infused honey butter sauce and seasonings really blend well. My friends tried the squid ink pasta and one of the chicken dishes from the West Virgina menu and they loved them as well. My husband had the spicy Carolina slaw and pork sandwich. He said it wasn't very spicy at all. The waitress said that the smoked bbq meats were really good and they smoked all the bbq in house. They all really enjoyed their dishes. Phenomenal food, drinks, and service! The owners and Chef Mike have a passion and it shows! The dishes are all "American classics with an elevated twist." Each dish is represented by an American state, which is really fun! We were also told that each month will feature a new state favorite, which we are super excited about! The lambchops were phenomenal, and the lobster roll had a perfect balance of meat to mayo ratio (large and affordable). The drinks are great, the appetizers and desserts are a must add on! Regardless of what "state they're in," the food is always high quality, made in such an artisanal way. Came here for dinner for LI restaurant week after seeing posts about that place over the last year and was very excited to try it. We had a reservation for two, and I would recommend getting one, the place is on the smaller side and was very busy when we went on a Friday night. The thing that drew me in was their gimmick of a rotating menu that changes to a new state and focuses on those meals. The restaurant week menu was more of a hodgepodge of a few different states, but still a great variety to choose from. It was a 3 course meal and we started with the Grilled Pineapple Chili Lime Brussel Sprouts and the Herb Cream Cheese Mushrooms. Both were tasty, but if I'm picking just one, I quite liked the Brussels, plus it was a more generous portion. Even my date who is notorious Brussels hater asked for a second trying! For mains, we got the American Vineyard Chicken & House Smoked St. Louis BBQ Ribs. Chicken was the perfect portion and the pinot noir/mushroom sauce it came with was incredible, I dipped every last bite of food I had in it! Ribs had a great bark to them and great barbecue flavor, but my winner was the chicken. Closing it out with dessert, we got the carrot cake and the Buckeye cheesecake, I'm biased as carrot cake is not my favorite dessert, but if there was one to have this one was super moist and flavorful, but don't shy away from a perfectly good chocolate and caramel topped new York style cheese cake either. As for cocktails, I had the Louisiana bayou old fashioned, which aside from being topped with some toasted marshmallows, didn't stray as far from the original taste of an old fashioned as I would have liked, but was still a good drink. However my date got the red wine apple cider sangria which was a delicious fall delight that was so good that we had to make it for ourself the next day! Atmosphere was really cool, and live music was being played to enjoy, but it was a little on the loud side but not to the point of it being obnoxious. The only reason I dock a star is that despite our reservation and being sat right away, we were forgot about instantly and we're sitting for around 30 minutes before we had to ask a separate waiter to have someone come check up on us. Once we did, our waitress Christine was a delight who was attentive and very cheerful and helpful the rest of the evening. There's some nearby parking on the street and paid/free lots, but you may need to walk a little with no dedicated lot. All in all, I'd love to come back and try more of the menu, especially as it rotates, and I want to give them a chance to earn that star back, because I think they deserve it in almost all other rights! read more
