    The length of the venue

This would be one of several times visiting this place and it never disappoints! This time we came for a soccer party. The venue wasn't super crowded which made for a smooth process of checking in and settling in for some bowling fun. The kids had pizza, punch, and a dessert which was allowed in by the owners. While this venue is a bit on the older side - it was clean, well attended, organized, and easy to navigate. We had a great time while the kids bowled.

    NO MINIMUM HERE

Came in with a party of two hoping for some fun bowling on the $14.99 special advertised on their website. At no point on the website is there any mention of a minimum party size requirement. We only found out in person when the attendant turned us away. What made it more frustrating was that there were easily 20+ open lanes with about an hour left before closing. There was no reason they couldn't accommodate two people, yet they still wouldn't budge. If you have a minimum party policy, put it on your website. Don't let people drive out only to find out at the counter. We left without bowling and won't be back.

    Party Room

Amazing fun for my daughter's 10th birthday! Manda is so great! We were able to book their party room and the kids had the best time! Great customer service! Pizza is always delicious! 10/10 recommend!

This used to be a great bowling alley about 20 years ago. It has deteriorated so badly, the leagues are almost non-existent.

Always plenty of parking here and the location is super easy to find. When we arrived there was a long line of people, but our friends were already checked in and we just had to get our shoes. The lane we were given was a decent size, couch on either side for each lane. I do like the surfboard tables, but they were kind of in the way and narrow with the table next to us every time we got up to bowl. Especially since the other table had pizza that was sticking out and I was nervous to knock it over every time I got up. We did unlimited games for 2 hours, that gave us enough time to get about 3 games in. I noticed plenty of balls were already in the ball return, so not sure if people go grab balls, or if they are just placed there to grab from. There were plenty of size options for the balls BUT I hate that we had to share with the lane next to us because they were eating pizza and grabbing the same balls and every time I went up the ball felt super greasy and gross. Cosmic bowling was really cool! Fun music videos and movies and other videos being shown on the screens down the lanes. I was expecting it to be darker inside though and having the black light pop out more. Inside also has a bar, food to order, arcade area, bathrooms and saw some people celebrating their birthday. They go all out with a neon sign and you're given a bowling pin that everyone signs. So that's cool to know if you plan on celebrating here. The manger was also kind and gave our friends coupons to come again and bowl two free games on their next visit so I thought that was really nice! All in all, I haven't been bowling in a minute, but it was fun to get together with friends, have a beer and just have fun!

Bowling balls are a free for all, meaning if there's none out to take... well you gotta wait until someone is done with their balls. Mind you, I had to wait 15 minutes just to get balls for my family; and the balls I did get were greasy and nasty. Women's Restroom had no toilet paper. This place used to be good, but you're better off going to the bowling alley in Pomona or Rancho. THIS PLACE SUCKS

It's a striking building to look at especially during the evenings. A blast from the past with the smells to go with it. 32 Lanes as it proudly states out front, and we were given lane #26. Plenty of the lanes available too, and with that a large selection of balls. The lights were dimly lit in the place, and folks of all levels were playing that night. Fancy high-powered spinning and frequent gutter balls, we were squarely near the lower end of that spectrum. Different game modes on the screen included cartoons/animations of bowling pins, sea creatures, and comic book characters, which added some charm to an otherwise similar experience. At one point, the guys on the lane to the left gave us some good pointers, though I cannot say I will bowl enough to retain any of the muscle memory. All in all, a nice way to spend the evening.

So this review is not about the bowling alley but the sports bar right next to it. Whereas the bowling alley was full of spirited sounds of teams and the sounds of pins toppling and ball polishing, several feet away was a rather well soundproofed sports bar with the jukebox playing an eclectic selection of country rock and hard rock. As far as activities go, there were billiard tables and dartboard machines. We opted for the dartboards which have cameras installed and the technology to detect your throw, even when said throw completely missed the mark. It takes cash, and the amount depends on the type of game and number of players. However, technically you could just take the cup of plastic darts and just start playing without paying and keep score yourselves. We were joined by two other locals at the bar and played a guys vs. gals, 2v2 round of 501, and somehow I carried. Subsequently on another game though, I came up shooting blanks. By the time we were done darting, the billiard tables were all taken up. Wouldn't mind coming back to hang out here.

I grew up in Japan and I've been going to R1 since 2005〜 Machines are pretty frequently updated here and it's maintained somewhat good. Time to time there are some rhythm games that has faulty censor, but I'm sure it will improve in the future as I've seen this place improve as a whole. One of the downsides for me is Spotcha, as a lot of their "sports" games/machines tends to be faulty and the last 3 times I went, the batting cage especially tends to not be working, but still letting people in. If it needs maintenance, I think people will understand if they put a barricade or a sign that says "under maintenance" rather than just leaving it open and people will just go home disappointed. Keep the actually working ones open, and close/put up a sign might help with maintaining customer satisfaction level. I think they're doing a great job with brining in colab's though!

We ordered multiple alcoholic drinks, a beer bucket, and food. The cook was very kind and even made wings for us though he was about to finish -- he was the only positive part of the night. The issue was the bar staff. The bartender was rude from the start. Later, I asked for a simple cup of tap water and was told they only sell bottled water (Arrowhead). I explained I had already purchased food and alcohol and just wanted tap water. Instead of handling it professionally, he whispered to another bartender and directed me to a man behind the bar. When I repeated my request, I was told, "We're trying to make a profit." That response was unacceptable. After spending money there, being treated like a problem over a cup of water was disappointing. I was eventually given a very small cup. I also ran into a friend who mentioned the service here is consistently bad, so this doesn't seem like a one-time issue. Make sure your whole group is together before start time so you all play at the same time and no one misses out. Our group was a bunch of 5/6/7 year olds and the group they played against was 10-12 year olds so I felt like that was a little unfair but no one got seriously hurt so that's all you can ask for. My least favorite part was the arcade. Some of the games weren't working so that's a bust. Our kids were too young to use the VR game so it would have been nice if they got to ride the bumper cars twice instead of just losing out on that. On top of that there was only one person staffing the VR game, the mini bowling and the bumper cars so it was like 10-15 minutes between each option and there were only maybe 8 bumper cars so when there's a line the kids had to wait about 20 minutes just to ride the bumper cars. There were lines for the bumper cars and the VR so no one used the bowling because there wasn't enough staff. The pizza was fine, I believe you can order other stuff outside the party pizza if you want.
