This is a must see stop in Orange!! Their Chapman Crafted Pilsner is my favorite beer and their rotating tap makes a fun, new flight every time I go. It has an awesome atmosphere with games, string lights, and lots of Instagram-worthy spots not to mention a super convenient location and the best beer in town! Parking is super easy (a rarity in SoCal) and the bartenders are always very friendly and knowledgeable about their product. Not to mention the fact that it's locally owned!! read more

I was waiting to write a review because I've been to a few breweries that were amazing upfront then started to decline. I was waiting for the same to happen to Chapman Crafted. Either the staff would get too uppity to serve beer or the brewmaster would get lazy and start brewing crap beers. However, I've been here 4 times so far and this is not the case. Every time I go to Chapman Crafted the staff is amazingly friendly and the beer gets better and better. In fact, if you haven't tried the Charles de Mar or the Slow Riser you'd doing yourself a disservice. They don't have food but it's near the Orange Circle so you can stop over at Walk n Dogs or something and grab a bite before you head over. It isn't a big place (yet, hopefully) but if you go at the right time you can find somewhere to sit and watch tv. Definitely add this to your beer round up if you live in the area. Hell, I'd come a good distance to check out this beer. read more

Another OC brewery by the circle in Orange. Beer is not bad and they have A TV for sports. Overall it's typical of the saturated OC brewery scene. Get rid of the 12oz glasses. Serve pints and charge accordingly. read more

It was great to see a brewery across the street from Chapman's Dodge School. I definitely would have visited the brewery often if the brewery was open ~10 years back before I graduated but I can imagine that current film students love the place. Afterwards visiting nearly most of the best breweries in the state and the county as well (e.g Russian River, Bear Republic, Lagunitas, Stone, Green Flash, ballast Point). It seems OC breweries are starting to see more competition recently and I have been a big fan of Bottle Logic. Followed by Valiant and Noble in my opinion. I am always happy to visit new breweries and/or pubs in the county while the craft beer industry still grows. I have only visited Chapman once so far and I was impressed while they start up. I enjoyed their IPAs so far but they still need a little work. I will definitely revisit. read more

I first thought Chapman Crafted Beer was where the hustle and bustle of Old Town Orange is, but I can take a sigh of relief that it isn't and that there's places you can park! They have a parking lot with maybe 5 spots and street parking. Upon entering on a Monday night, there tables were mostly filled up and the place was about 90% full but luckily we were able to snag a table. I'm not much of a dark beer drinker, but I can appreciate a place that serves mainly that. Don't expect any fruity drinks, hefes, blondes, ciders... basically anything I drink. I opted in for the Unruley Coconut which was a Brown Ale, that was okay. I couldn't really taste the coconut in the beer. My friend got the Slow RIser and that one tasted like coffee and I enjoyed that over the one I got. The beertender was really nice. We arrived at 8:30 PM and they closed at 9 PM but nobody was told to leave. Everyone eventually left around 9:30 PM. There is only 1 restroom for both guys and girls. I also noticed that there was a shower inside... I found that very interesting. Overall, I would probably come back and get a taster flight. read more

Solid Lager Surprise surpise! Didn't in my wildest dreams thought that a LAGER will steal my heart, well my tongue but you know what I mean. Stumbled upon this newly opened brewery at my wedding anniversary day with my husband. I have to admit that this was meant to be just a stop to let the traffic die down back to LA, but their lager left me wanting to stay. Hello Again lives up to its name. It was like an old fling that you never quite knew why things didn't work out. The chance experience was smooth, friendly. Ultimately, refreshing with a sense of cathartic memory of the good old days. The finish was a lasting memory to the last drop. Tender, mild with a twist that you want to revisit once again. Solid lager. The rest of the beers will make you sing, but start with the Hello Again. This will change your mind about lagers. read more

As with all breweries, it's hit or miss on whether you like the beers being served, but regardless of how much you like the taste of a particular menu item here, the quality is very good. My main two complaints are their best beers are often unavailable to take home in cans form - I think they should all be available - and I wish they had better food trucks or a variety. Seems to be the same ones week after week. read more

I can't say enough about this place, it is so awesome! The beer is phenomenal and the service is fantastic. The servers are very knowledgeable about the beer they serve. If you don't have a lot of experience just ask them and they will help you find something you love! Fun little spot with lots of activities (2 ping pong tables, cornhole, foosball, I even saw yoga and art events) but it's also laid back enough to relax and have a drink .The IPAs werent overly hoppy and not malty at all. Fresh and crisp with just enough of a unique taste. I even liked their barrel aged, which I don't normally get. Clean and dog friendly and +100 points for the ease of parking.
