Finally got to come by LJ's early and my Spicy OG Burrito came out delicious! I love the gooey cheese, crispy tots, soft eggs, pieces of sausage, and green peppers. The Habanero "orange" sauce is spicy and I absolutely love it. I order a side of pickled jalapeño slices to eat with every bite. Service is friendly and efficient. Store is very clean and has these comfy padded seats. I really love this location, just the parking is difficult sometimes.
This is my second time coming here and the burrito never fails! Parking can be tough if it's busy but I somehow always find parking. There is usually a line out the door so I recommend ordering a head of time and it will be ready by the time you get there. There isn't much seating and the place itself is small so be prepared to take your food to go. The OG burrito is huge and packed with breakfast items. I love how cheesy it is but also crunchy from the tater tots inside. It is a savory explosion in your mouth that will fill you up. I ended up only finishing half my burrito. I decided to try a drink this time and picked the mango matcha. It wasn't my favorite the mango overpowered the matcha but also tasted a little watered down. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't get it again.
Delicious Breakfast Burritos!! There is a big selection of burrito options on their menu and every item seems equally as delicious. Every burrito comes with a side of sauce. I got the spicy OG which came with jalapeños and ooey gooey cheese. I also got the loaded tots to share with friends and WOW! not only were they affordable, they were also delicious! I got both the queso tots and the vern tots. My favorite was definitely the queso tots, but both were super yummy!! They also make delicious specialty lattes which were surprisingly very yummy!! My friends and I tried the cinnamon toast iced latte and the lavender honeycomb iced latte and both were super yummy, especially the cold foam. However, I wish the coffee flavor was a little stronger! The line can be long but ordering is quick! They also have limited seating options. I will definitely be back, the sandwiches look super yum
Located in a smallish shopping strip, LJs is easy to spot. There are quite a few other eateries in the row, so parking gets challenging during peak breakfast and lunch hours. I'd heard that they're known for their hearty burritos so I thought I'd go check them out. We arrived shortly after 11 and they were already busy with all but one table occupied. Orders are placed at the counter and your name is called when it's ready. Because they were busy, it took a bit for our order to come up, but it wasn't too bad considering how busy they were. From the Yelp photo gallery, their portions look generous, so my foodie friend and I decided to split everything. Today we ordered the pastrami burrito and Vern's Tots. As we suspected, the portions truly are generous enough to share {unless you're famished, then don't share :) } The burrito was hefty and packed with everything ~ eggs, cheese, pastrami, crispy tots, and the perfect amount of sauce ~ very tasty and filling. The Vern's Tots were *LOADED* with all the toppings! Very generous amounts of sweet, grilled onions, LJs house sauce, melted cheese, and bacon. Very filling and very decadent. A great little find and I'm looking forward to trying more of their burritos and sandwiches.
Heard about this place through Instagram and had to give it a try! This is hands down such a must try restaurant if your craving breakfast burritos. Small restaurant with a few tables, you order first and they call your name when the food is ready. Plenty of parking spaces, this place can get crowded after a certain time we came around 7:30am so there was not a line. After we ordered food that's when folks started to come after 8am. The staff were extremely welcoming and nice. Their iced lattes have such a quite interesting refreshing taste to it. The burritos are massive sizes. Every bite had a lot of flavors, and the sauces made it even better! Drinks - Orange creamsicle latte and Lemon Blueberry lavender latte Burritos - OG Breakfast burrito, Chorizo Burrito and the Brisket Pastrami were impeccable! The tater tots were extremely crispy every bite had such a nice crunch to it. A very simple menu which is great, prices are high, but the amount of food that's packed in the burrito was worth it.

The tater tots were so crispy and the sausage was a little salty. We got the cilantro crema as our sauce and they gave us a generous amount. It was nice and bright and balanced out the heaviness of the burrito. I would come back and recommend this place to others, I just wish they closed a bit later.

However, we always have our travel-home day to try breakfast / coffee spots nearby before hitting the road when we drive. On our most recent trip I was craving a breakfast burrito, so I naturally turned to Yelp to help me find a spot. LJ's immediately stood out as a highly-rated, delicious looking option that was a relatively quick drive from our hotel. Located in what looks like a strip-mall type shopping center, we had no trouble finding parking. The place was definitely poppin', as there were over a dozen people amongst multiple groups waiting for their orders both in and outside. The line was relatively short the whole time we were there, which makes it seem like they have a good system to keep things flowing on that front. There's a single bathroom in the back that was open for customers and clean. DRINKS: They have some classic choices like drip coffee, double espresso, hot or iced lattes with various flavors, as well as some signature options. The signature drinks seem to rotate and be seasonal. The current signatures for April 2026 were an Orange Creamsicle Latte, Cinnamon Toast Latte, and Matcha Latte. For milk options, they have whole, 2%, oat, and almond. They also have soda and OJ as alternatives. The coffee signatures sounded unique and flavorful, so we decided to get one of each to share. The Orange Creamsicle and the Cinnamon Toast Lattes were both quite tasty! We got them with oat milk, which I feel makes them even more creamy. The flavors from the syrups and cold foam (orange vanilla on the creamsicle), were definitely worth trying! FOOD: We of course did a bunch of research before coming in, including but not limited to reading reviews, and looking at way too many pictures of burritos. There were multiple top choices for what we wanted to try, and what made it even more difficult was that we were planning to split just one burrito. We had our eyes on the OG, Chorizo, and Brisket Pastrami most specifically. They all come with 3 eggs, tater tots, some sort of cheese, and various other ingredients. After some debate and recommendations from the girl who took our order, we decided to go with the OG. Figured for the first time trying a new spot, the OG seems like a good bet. The burrito was next level. Just like the photos promised, we opened it up slowly to reveal one of the most cheesy and glorious breakfast burritos I've possibly ever seen. SALSAS & SAUCES: There are 5 options for sauces and salsas: Mild Red Roasted Salsa, Medium Green Serrano Salsa, Hot Habanero Salsa, LJ's Signature Sauce, and Creamy Cilantro Crema. Each burrito comes with one complementary side, with each additional being $0.75. They're 3oz each, so it feels more worth it. IMO, the Mild Red was a solid, standard red salsa. The Green Serrano was mild, smooth, and light. The Habanero was HOT. I like spicy stuff, but this was a little too spicy for my liking. The Signature Sauce and Creamy Cilantro Crema were both favorites... not only of the ones at LJ's, but anywhere. Yeah, they were that good. We brought the extras back north with us and were using them on leftovers and with chips when we got back home. If you're not feeling a breakfast burrito, they also have a Brisket Pastrami Sandwich, Queso Philly Cheesesteak, Chicken Salad Sandwich, and sides of regular and loaded tots! OVERALL: Shout-out to the hardworking staff who are working hard and churning out countless burritos and drinks each day. This is officially a new favorite spot when visiting Disney / Anaheim. These burritos are THICC, hearty, cheesy, and packed with flavor. They're big enough to split, eat half and save half, or finish one and be full for the day! I'm already looking forward to our next trip down south so we can try those other burritos; next time I'm getting my own! :P
One of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had! We came around 9:30 on a Saturday morning and there wasn't much of a wait, but by the time we left there was a huge line. There's not much seating so I would recommend coming early if you're looking to sit down. They do not skimp on the amount of eggs in the burrito and the tater tots are super crispy as well. It is a bit on the heavy side, so I would def recommend eating it with one of the salsas!
I reached out to LJs cafe for breakfast burrito catering. They was fast in responding and provided great options and answered all my questions. I ordered the 10 OG breakfast burritos for a pick up at 6:30am I got there exactly at 6:30am they were ready! There were also a few people already there for their breakfast burritos! The service was great they even remembered my special salsa request. Now on the to food. The burrito was good! Everyone really enjoyed them! The tater tots were nice and crispy. It was very filling! I do wish they had a bit more meat inside but we only got the OG. So next time I'm going to try the pastrami. Last note is their sauces and salsa are amazing! I tried every single one and I can't pick a favorite. So make sure you try them all!
I don't even like breakfast burritos but now I've changed my mind!! The OG and chorizo breakfast burrito were so so good. Stuffed with eggs, crispy tater tots, and meats that were all well balanced. I hate when you order a bfast burrito and it's too much of one thing - Lil LJs does it perfectly. And the mixed cheese just ties it all together deliciously !
I remember coming to the Home Depot location years ago and finally got around to trying the Orange brick and mortar. This place was PACKED. Not sure if it was because it was the day after the 4OJ or if this is normal business for a Sunday, but there were so many people eating and waiting for their food. My boyfriend and I placed an online order and had to wait an extra 10 minutes once we arrived, but I appreciated that the wait staff brought the food out to us from behind the counter amidst all the chaos. We split the chorizo burrito with crema. The first thing I noticed was how greasy the burrito was. The wax paper outside was saturated in oil. Now, for the contents of the burrito. The tater tots were hot and crispy, which was appreciated considering how swamped this place was. However, the burrito itself felt a bit one dimensional. Very cheesy (dare I say too cheesy) and crunchy because of the tater tots. I really wasn't tasting the chorizo or grilled onions -- the flavors only came through at the very end. The crema was maybe my saving grace of the meal. The creaminess and acidity helped cut through the heaviness.
Yes yes and more yes!!! Just visiting and saw this place had some good reviews and wanted to check it out. You can tell this place gets very busy but the customer service is top notch. We got the OG breakfast burrito, spicy OG breakfast burrito, the lavender lemon latte and banana latte. Came back two days later and got another OG breakfast burrito and the breakfast sandwich. They have a variety of salsas but we opted with the cilantro lime and medium green Serrano. Their breakfast sandwich comes with the red OG salsa on the side and is very flavorful. Breakfast burritos are a pretty good size and could be shared between two people. If you aren't really into cheese just ask them to remove it. The burritos also come loaded with crispy tater tots and choice of protein The breakfast sandwich was our least favorite, it tasted pretty greasy and lacked flavor. I would recommend sticking with the Burrito's they have executed them perfectly. The coffee's were really good. Perfect amount of Lavender to lemon ratio. Never had that combo together but it works. The banana latte is creamy and not too overpowering. Maybe I'm just a caffeine addict but the caffeine content wasn't too much. As for the vibe, love me a indie, minimal concept and this place delivers. If you're in a hurry just order online and it will be ready but if not they're probably really busy so be patient. Can't wait to come back on our next visit:)
I think I've found my new favorite post-surf burrito spot. I'm going to have to explain my new found love to my BF. I was looking for something conveniently located between South OC and the freeway when I stumbled across this hidden gem. First things first--the tater tots were fantastic: perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. My 5-year-old self would have been absolutely thrilled. I ordered the OG Burrito, and it did not disappoint. The meat was flavorful and plentiful, and the burrito had a great balance of ingredients without being overloaded with potatoes. The cilantro sauce was the perfect finishing touch, adding a tangy kick without any heat. Now, if my burrito-to-potato ratio seemed a little off, that's entirely on me because I may have eaten a questionable number of tater tots before diving into the burrito. No regrets. Everything was delicious, and I'm officially hooked. If you haven't checked this place out yet, I highly recommend giving it a try. read more

Recommend ordering online ahead of time, rightfully so, they are very popular, and fast but orders take a while cause everything is made fresh per order, so order ahead. They don't skimp out on ingredients not only is it super fresh, but it's plenty, burrito is massive! I can only ever eat half, easily good for two meals. read more

I LOVE THEIR BREKKIE BURRITOS! And randomly, I like their matcha here too haha. I was not expecting to like it sm c: !! Def try the OG first and then work your way down through the menu. Service is always good and they try to keep things moving. Don't be afraid to ask questions or for their recommendations. The cafe can get really busy on the weekends so I suggest ordering online. It is a bit expensive ($16-$20) but it's so filling... read more
Decided to grab a bite. Been wanting to try this place out since I saw it open months back. I was surprised at how small the place is. Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean interior and decent restroom, although it's a single restroom. They mainly focus on breakfast burritos and sandwiches but it's good to keep the menu small. Best breakfast burrito I've ever had! I ordered online & picked up, which I'm glad I did because I went around 11am and it was pretty busy inside. Picked up my food 20min after pickup time and the food was still fresh and warm. I ordered the OG breakfast burrito and sauces on the side as pictured. The sauce is SO GOOD!! The tots were crispy, sausage was juicy and the overall flavor is so delicious! The burrito is pretty big, you will be super full. I love that it is wrapped very tightly and didn't fall apart at all. I will definitely be returning to try other menu items! read more
This place is super tiny, but it gets busy fast. The service is great. The breakfast burritos are humongous and flavorful. We got the OG, pastrami, and the chorizo. All three hit the spot with their OF sauce and cilantro sauce. The lattes were good as well. Damn near everything on the menu is amazing. This is worth it. read more
I'm salivating just thinking about the OG burrito... it was so flavorful and cheesy and the portions were insane! I came in absolutely famished, but I was stuffed after eating just half the burrito. I also love that they have tons of sauce options to choose from. The service was great and their recommendations were very helpful. It's a tidy space with fair amount of seating, and there was little to no line when I visited. Wouldn't be surprised if this spot blew up though. I'm looking forward to my next visit :) read more
I'm all for new players entering the competitive breakfast burrito scene in Orange County, and I stand by the fact that we probably have among the best in the country. LJ's is a familiar name for those in the know, and while I never visited their original truck location and only visited their new one just now, I'm an instant fan. All the concerns over wait are sort of overblown, as I went during peak weekend breakfast hours, and while the number of people can be rather daunting, they run a steady ship here and will get your order out fast. I got the spicy breakfast burrito, and it was full of flavor, with a classic habanero type of orange sauce that was almost unnecessary because the burrito itself was moist with flavor, rare even among great breakfast burritos. They have a legit coffee menu as well, which you would be surprised from a place that serves breakfast burritos. I had an earl grey banana bread latte and the flavor was nice. Seats can be limited, but turnover is fairly quick. The parking lot can get crowded, and it's definitely way too small for the businesses around, but you'll find your way. It's conveniently located nearby The Outlets and Chapman University, so it's a pretty central location. I'll definitely be back soon and I really look forward to trying their other burritos. Portion size was big!! Could only eat half. Ordered the Spicy OG Breakfast Burrito and it has more tater tots than other ingredients. I love tater tots, so I'm not complaining but it would have been nice to have a bit more sausage in it. I would probably go for Queso Burrito instead. I did enjoy the Queso Tots! If you love breakfast burritos (and even if you're just so-so about them), you have to try LJ"s! They're loaded with eggs so fluffy, nestled in tater tots,bacon and sauce. My fam got together at my house and we split them in half so each of us can try different ones. My favorite was the spicy OG which comes with italian sausage (yum) and jalapeno. I was also pleasantly surprised by the chorizo. Normally I don't like chorizo because it's fatty and salty, but the quality of chorizo they used didn't taste greasy at all. We all love how the burritos had a perfect ratio of eggs to potatoes and were wrapped nicely. They didn't fall apart even though they were stuffed. It's magic really. LJ's is a great place to stop by if you're looking for giant breakfast burritos. I got the pastrami breakfast burrito which costs about $19, but the portion is very large. It also comes with eggs, crispy tater tots, cheese, and pickled red onions to round it out. I wished it would have had a little more pastrami, but that's really my only complaints. I finally got to try this place now that they have a brick and mortar store. I've attempted in the past at their cypress location which is just a truck in front of Home Depot, but wait times were so long I never did. This time, I order online in advance for some breakfast burritos. It did take an hour so make sure you plan before ordering! The burritos are hefty and packed full of goodness. Tried both the original and the spicy one. Also tried their red, green, and signature sauces. All of them were good, I prefer the green for that tanginess and my partner preferred the signature for the creaminess. These breakfast burritos are really something else. LJ's started as a shack in front of a Home Depot in Cypress and has done so well for themselves that they now have an actual store in Orange. My favorite breakfast burrito is exclusive to the Orange location - the Pastrami Breakfast Burrito. It consists of tender, juicy brisket pastrami, tater tots, eggs, oaxaca cheese, and pickled red onion. I love it with the LJ's sauce, which is that perfect shade of creamy orange that just screams "I'm a delicious sauce!" (I think it's like spicy mayo or something). The burritos are more filling than you think. The store itself can get very busy. I recommend ordering online ahead of time or being prepared to wait for like 45 minutes. I've officially found my new favorite breakfast burrito spot! We ordered the OG Burrito and the Queso Tots and both were amazing. The tortilla was impressively soft and delicate but was able to hold up the burrito well. The scrambled eggs were fluffy but the crispy tater tots inside were the real game changer. That crunch is everything. Also, do NOT sleep on the creamy cilantro sauce. It has this perfect hit of acidity that cuts right through the richness. They also have quite an extensive beverage menu with some really unique options (Red Velvet and Cinnamon Toast lattes?!), but I kept it simple with an Iced Latte. I thought it was very good and I love how you could really taste the coffee in it. The space itself was very clean, and had modern aesthetic. They have a few seats if you want to dine in, which we did. Pro-Tip on Timing: We rolled in at 9:30 AM on a Saturday and it was chill with no wait. The food was ready in 20 mins. By the time we left at 10:15 AM, the line was out the door. Get here early if you want to skip the queue! But even if you do line up, I can say it's definitely worth the wait. read more
Heard of LJ Lil Cafe from their Cypress location outside Home Depot. We live in Montebello, and their Cypress location is closed on Sunday, so we heard that they had a stand-alone store in Orange, and it did not disappoint! Their cinnamon toast latte was amazing, 5/5. We also grabbed two burritos: their Og breakfast burritos and their chorizo breakfast burritos. Wow, their burritos were amazing. The tater was the perfect combo for their crunch 10/10. We also grabbed their Vern tots, which were the perfect size to share. Overall, everything we tried was awesome! Their service was great; they had a lot of employees preparing food, so they were quick to get food out, even when they were busy! read more
YOOO let's talk breakfast burritos! This is hands down one of (if not THE) best breakfast burrito I've had. I drove up from San Diego to try this bad boy and it was beyond worth the drive. I placed my order online and pick up was ready within 30 minutes which, for this place, was quick. The cafe itself has a cool vibe to it and it was packed on a Saturday -- no surprise there. Now for the burrito... this thing was STUFFED with eggs, tots (pro tip: ask for crispy tots), spicy Portuguese sausage, cheese and jalapeños. The tortilla was good quality as well. It was piping hot and bursting with flavor. The sauces on the side were a perfect compliment (get the creamy cilantro!!) I ate half of one and was pretty darn full so definitely worth the price. I had the burrito at their Home Depot location a couple years ago, and when I got it again today I was transported back to that time and reminiscing of how good that burrito was. Because the burrito I got today was still the same shock and awe burrito I got. Flavor? Solid. Portion size? Got full with half of it. Salsa and cilantro sauce? On point. Hash brown crunchiness? Crunchy, even after taking this home to eat. Amount of meat? Glutinous. Cheese pull? Epic. Quick service. Not the biggest amount of seating. Clean restaurant. But would definitely come again. It has 3 eggs, tater tots, Portuguese Hawaiian sausage, bacon, mixed cheese, special sauce, and a side of salsa on the side. PHENOMENAL! The pic doesn't do it justice. Lives up to the hype- huge, hearty burritos worth sharing or saving for later. We tried the OG, Spicy OG, and Queso burrito. The spicy OG was my fave. Super quaint ambiance. The OG had a perfect crispiness to the tots. The spicy had a nice little kick, and I was told that the queso was ooey-gooey cheesy perfection. This would honestly be a great spot to post up at after an intense workout or long hike. You order first then can take it to go or try to snag a seat! They have quite a variety of sauces to choose from and you can select one complimentary per burrito order. read more
