This place is delish! I had heard about it when it was in a shack near home depot and never made it there so needless to say I was very excited to try it. We ordered two burritos the OG and the one with chorizo. Both were absolutely delish, so full of flavor and so filling. I only ate 1/2 but i have a smaller appetite. My bf ate his burrito in its entirety. The place is a little small but huge shoutout to the staff for being very attentive and keeping the place clean. There was always someone sweeping the floors and cleaning the tables which was nice to see. We will definitely be back here. Thanks guys!
Place is known for their breakfast burritos so thats what I came here for. I ordered online and my order was ready when I scheduled it. Burrito tasted good and is quite large but you cant help but notice its mostly eggs and tater tots with not much meat. Since they charge a lot for the burrito its kind of hard to ignore. I havent seen many mentions of the serrano sauce here but it to me is their best sauce. Still it tasted good and thats what matters in the end. Might come back when Im craving the serrano sauce.
The breakfast burritos and sandwiches are to die for. They are expensive, but damn are they delicious. If you ever feel like having a treat yo self kinda day, I would suggest picking up some food at LJs Lil Cafe. I usually get the same things - the spicy OG Breakfast Burrito, Brisket Pastrami, and the Queso Philly Cheesesteak. All of them are mouthwateringly delicious. You can't go wrong with any of them. I just wish it was cheaper so I could get it more often. $20 for a sandwich or a burrito is kinda wild but I guess it's kind of the norm these days with how crazy inflation is.
Holy wow. Finally made my way here, they have a parking lot but it gets BUSY, so does their inside seating! Please plan appropriately when visiting! Inside is covered with cute merch, decor and awards, they are very proud of what they do and have every right to be. Service is amazing. The girl who helped me was so kind, patient and informative. I got the cookie butter latte (seasonal) and the og burrito with the signature sauce. This combo is ab absolute 10/10. The cold foam on the latte is salted and coming from someone who doesn't usually like salted foam tops, this one was to die for. The burrito is already cut in half by default which is a HUGE plus, that sauce is incredible. I can't wait to get the opportunity to come back here.
Definitely one of the top breakfast burrito places in OC! I recommend ordering online and picking up, it could get pretty packed, especially during lunch time around noon. I went with the OG, for about $17 it is kind of high, but the burritos are huge and filling and can be shared by two people! However it's so good that you may want to get your own! Came with fluffy eggs, cheese, bacon, and Portuguese sausage! It also comes with their famous LJ sauce and you can pick another, chose the habanero and it was super spicy! But delicious! The sauces alone should warrant 5 stars! Definitely recommend trying out!
I think I've found my new favorite post-surf burrito spot. I'm going to have to explain my new found love to my BF. I was looking for something conveniently located between South OC and the freeway when I stumbled across this hidden gem. First things first--the tater tots were fantastic: perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. My 5-year-old self would have been absolutely thrilled. I ordered the OG Burrito, and it did not disappoint. The meat was flavorful and plentiful, and the burrito had a great balance of ingredients without being overloaded with potatoes. The cilantro sauce was the perfect finishing touch, adding a tangy kick without any heat. Now, if my burrito-to-potato ratio seemed a little off, that's entirely on me because I may have eaten a questionable number of tater tots before diving into the burrito. No regrets. Everything was delicious, and I'm officially hooked. If you haven't checked this place out yet, I highly recommend giving it a try.
Finally got to come by LJ's early and my Spicy OG Burrito came out delicious! I love the gooey cheese, crispy tots, soft eggs, pieces of sausage, and green peppers. The Habanero "orange" sauce is spicy and I absolutely love it. I order a side of pickled jalapeño slices to eat with every bite. Service is friendly and efficient. Store is very clean and has these comfy padded seats. I really love this location, just the parking is difficult sometimes.
BOMB breakfast burrito-- Tried the OG breakfast burrito that comes with eggs, tater tots, Portuguese hawaiian sausage, bacon, and cheese. Pretty big portion for my type of breakfast that I only ate half of the burrito, but it was definitely good that I saved the other half for my lunch. The iced cinnamon toast latte also was good, kind of tasted like a Spanish latte in a way. Would recommend!
A pretty solid breakfast burrito. Got the Philly ribeye instead of chorizo. The tortilla is really good and the meat has good flavor. The burrito isn't greasy like other spots I've had but it is a bit heavy on the eggs and tater tots. The creamy cilantro sauce is really good here. The place has nice vibes and the employees are really nice. It's worth checking out.
This is my second time coming here and the burrito never fails! Parking can be tough if it's busy but I somehow always find parking. There is usually a line out the door so I recommend ordering a head of time and it will be ready by the time you get there. There isn't much seating and the place itself is small so be prepared to take your food to go. The OG burrito is huge and packed with breakfast items. I love how cheesy it is but also crunchy from the tater tots inside. It is a savory explosion in your mouth that will fill you up. I ended up only finishing half my burrito. I decided to try a drink this time and picked the mango matcha. It wasn't my favorite the mango overpowered the matcha but also tasted a little watered down. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't get it again.
Delicious Breakfast Burritos!! There is a big selection of burrito options on their menu and every item seems equally as delicious. Every burrito comes with a side of sauce. I got the spicy OG which came with jalapeños and ooey gooey cheese. I also got the loaded tots to share with friends and WOW! not only were they affordable, they were also delicious! I got both the queso tots and the vern tots. My favorite was definitely the queso tots, but both were super yummy!! They also make delicious specialty lattes which were surprisingly very yummy!! My friends and I tried the cinnamon toast iced latte and the lavender honeycomb iced latte and both were super yummy, especially the cold foam. However, I wish the coffee flavor was a little stronger! The line can be long but ordering is quick! They also have limited seating options. I will definitely be back, the sandwiches look super yum
Located in a smallish shopping strip, LJs is easy to spot. There are quite a few other eateries in the row, so parking gets challenging during peak breakfast and lunch hours. I'd heard that they're known for their hearty burritos so I thought I'd go check them out. We arrived shortly after 11 and they were already busy with all but one table occupied. Orders are placed at the counter and your name is called when it's ready. Because they were busy, it took a bit for our order to come up, but it wasn't too bad considering how busy they were. From the Yelp photo gallery, their portions look generous, so my foodie friend and I decided to split everything. Today we ordered the pastrami burrito and Vern's Tots. As we suspected, the portions truly are generous enough to share {unless you're famished, then don't share :) } The burrito was hefty and packed with everything ~ eggs, cheese, pastrami, crispy tots, and the perfect amount of sauce ~ very tasty and filling. The Vern's Tots were *LOADED* with all the toppings! Very generous amounts of sweet, grilled onions, LJs house sauce, melted cheese, and bacon. Very filling and very decadent. A great little find and I'm looking forward to trying more of their burritos and sandwiches.
Heard about this place through Instagram and had to give it a try! This is hands down such a must try restaurant if your craving breakfast burritos. Small restaurant with a few tables, you order first and they call your name when the food is ready. Plenty of parking spaces, this place can get crowded after a certain time we came around 7:30am so there was not a line. After we ordered food that's when folks started to come after 8am. The staff were extremely welcoming and nice. Their iced lattes have such a quite interesting refreshing taste to it. The burritos are massive sizes. Every bite had a lot of flavors, and the sauces made it even better! Drinks - Orange creamsicle latte and Lemon Blueberry lavender latte Burritos - OG Breakfast burrito, Chorizo Burrito and the Brisket Pastrami were impeccable! The tater tots were extremely crispy every bite had such a nice crunch to it. A very simple menu which is great, prices are high, but the amount of food that's packed in the burrito was worth it.
Found this place on Yelp cause I was looking for a Breakfast burrito. Ill start with I cant believe they are 2nd Best Breakfast Burrito in O.C they should be #1 !! LJ 's is the Breakfast Burrito king ! I got the spicy LJ with side of green sauce . The Burrito is huge loaded with crispy non greasy tater tots perfect scrambled eggs hot italian sausage Jalepeno and mixed cheese ! Paired with the Green Sauce it was perfect wish I would of tried the red too I like to mix them . I also had the cookie butter biscotti latte and that was a treat in itself . Let me not forget the staff the girl behind the counter was very helpful and very kind the kind of service that keeps you coming back you can tell the whole staff enjoys there jobs by the presence of there hospitality !! Wanted to give LJ's Lil Cafe a try after hearing about it on social media, and it seems like a lot of others had the same idea because this place was poppin' on a Saturday afternoon! We weren't expecting much of a crowd but were surprised to find a short line and quite a few people waiting for their food. The restaurant itself is small with only about 5-6 small tables and a tiny waiting area which was completely occupied during our visit. Despite the crowd, the food turnaround was pretty fair. We waited roughly 15-20 minutes which honestly wasn't as long as we expected. The breakfast burritos are HUGE and packed with super crispy tater tots which was a nice touch but definitely adds more carbs. Half a burrito was more than enough for me! I tried the Spicy OG Burrito ($15.99) which had chopped fresh jalapeños inside. Between the summer heat, eating outside in the car since there was no available seating + the extra spice, I was definitely sweating! Also tried the Brisket Pastrami Sandwich ($15.99) which was decent but nothing I'd particularly rave about. I'd stick with the breakfast burritos. Located near Lee's Sandwiches and a Mediterranean eatery. The parking lot does tend to fill up quickly, but there seemed to be a steady flow of people coming and going so finding a spot wasn't too difficult. read more

Ordered online Saturday morning around 10am and it already said it would take roughly an hour to be ready. Luckily I had time to wait so decided to just place the order anyways. They charge .75 for extra sauces, I liked the creamy avocado sauce the most. The parking was kinda small and so was the restaurant. It was definitely packed in there with 2 separate lines. The burrito was pretty heavy! I liked the eggs and tater tots in it, I kinda just wish i ordered a different meat option. Not sure if I liked the hot Italian sausage as my protein after all. My bf liked it a lot tho so it's probably just me haha. Cant wait to come back and try their Portuguese sausage next or maybe a sandwich. read more
Ive been going to the Cypress location for years, so I was excited to check out this Orange location. Parking can be limited during busy times since it shares the lot with a few other businesses. It was packed and busy when I came on a Saturday but I was able to snag a table once a group left. My friend and I split the OG burrito since I knew it was going to be heavy and filling. Still one of my favorite spots for a breakfast burrito. The interior space is well decorated. Service was friendly. There's one restroom. read more

The breakfast burritos here were absolutely delicious! They were packed with filling, everything tasted fresh, and you could tell it was made to order. The drinks were just as good--refreshing, flavorful, and the perfect complement to breakfast. They have a sign saying they were voted the #2 breakfast burrito of 2026, but after eating here, I honestly can't imagine what the #1 spot could be. If there's a better breakfast burrito out there, I'd love to try it, but this one definitely set a high bar. Great food, great quality, and I'll definitely be coming back! read more

We do around 4 Disney trips a year, and most of the food we eat is at the parks. However, we always have our travel-home day to try breakfast / coffee spots nearby before hitting the road when we drive. On our most recent trip I was craving a breakfast burrito, so I naturally turned to Yelp to help me find a spot. LJ's immediately stood out as a highly-rated, delicious looking option that was a relatively quick drive from our hotel. Located in what looks like a strip-mall type shopping center, we had no trouble finding parking. The place was definitely poppin', as there were over a dozen people amongst multiple groups waiting for their orders both in and outside. The line was relatively short the whole time we were there, which makes it seem like they have a good system to keep things flowing on that front. There's a single bathroom in the back that was open for customers and clean. DRINKS: They have some classic choices like drip coffee, double espresso, hot or iced lattes with various flavors, as well as some signature options. The signature drinks seem to rotate and be seasonal. The current signatures for April 2026 were an Orange Creamsicle Latte, Cinnamon Toast Latte, and Matcha Latte. For milk options, they have whole, 2%, oat, and almond. They also have soda and OJ as alternatives. The coffee signatures sounded unique and flavorful, so we decided to get one of each to share. The Orange Creamsicle and the Cinnamon Toast Lattes were both quite tasty! We got them with oat milk, which I feel makes them even more creamy. The flavors from the syrups and cold foam (orange vanilla on the creamsicle), were definitely worth trying! FOOD: We of course did a bunch of research before coming in, including but not limited to reading reviews, and looking at way too many pictures of burritos. There were multiple top choices for what we wanted to try, and what made it even more difficult was that we were planning to split just one burrito. We had our eyes on the OG, Chorizo, and Brisket Pastrami most specifically. They all come with 3 eggs, tater tots, some sort of cheese, and various other ingredients. After some debate and recommendations from the girl who took our order, we decided to go with the OG. Figured for the first time trying a new spot, the OG seems like a good bet. The burrito was next level. Just like the photos promised, we opened it up slowly to reveal one of the most cheesy and glorious breakfast burritos I've possibly ever seen. SALSAS & SAUCES: There are 5 options for sauces and salsas: Mild Red Roasted Salsa, Medium Green Serrano Salsa, Hot Habanero Salsa, LJ's Signature Sauce, and Creamy Cilantro Crema. Each burrito comes with one complementary side, with each additional being $0.75. They're 3oz each, so it feels more worth it. IMO, the Mild Red was a solid, standard red salsa. The Green Serrano was mild, smooth, and light. The Habanero was HOT. I like spicy stuff, but this was a little too spicy for my liking. The Signature Sauce and Creamy Cilantro Crema were both favorites... not only of the ones at LJ's, but anywhere. Yeah, they were that good. We brought the extras back north with us and were using them on leftovers and with chips when we got back home. If you're not feeling a breakfast burrito, they also have a Brisket Pastrami Sandwich, Queso Philly Cheesesteak, Chicken Salad Sandwich, and sides of regular and loaded tots! OVERALL: Shout-out to the hardworking staff who are working hard and churning out countless burritos and drinks each day. This is officially a new favorite spot when visiting Disney / Anaheim. These burritos are THICC, hearty, cheesy, and packed with flavor. They're big enough to split, eat half and save half, or finish one and be full for the day! I'm already looking forward to our next trip down south so we can try those other burritos; next time I'm getting my own! :P read more
I don't even like breakfast burritos but now I've changed my mind!! The OG and chorizo breakfast burrito were so so good. Stuffed with eggs, crispy tater tots, and meats that were all well balanced. I hate when you order a bfast burrito and it's too much of one thing - Lil LJs does it perfectly. And the mixed cheese just ties it all together deliciously ! read more

I reached out to LJs cafe for breakfast burrito catering. They was fast in responding and provided great options and answered all my questions. I ordered the 10 OG breakfast burritos for a pick up at 6:30am I got there exactly at 6:30am they were ready! There were also a few people already there for their breakfast burritos! The service was great they even remembered my special salsa request. Now on the to food. The burrito was good! Everyone really enjoyed them! The tater tots were nice and crispy. It was very filling! I do wish they had a bit more meat inside but we only got the OG. So next time I'm going to try the pastrami. Last note is their sauces and salsa are amazing! I tried every single one and I can't pick a favorite. So make sure you try them all! read more
Best breakfast burrito in all of OC! Recommend ordering online ahead of time, rightfully so, they are very popular, and fast but orders take a while cause everything is made fresh per order, so order ahead. They don't skimp out on ingredients not only is it super fresh, but it's plenty, burrito is massive! I can only ever eat half, easily good for two meals. read more

Burrito is PHAT, not gonna lie, lol. First timer here and built my own. Had my first bite and I'm experiencing a fresh, clean, salsa added not hot but then the spice kicks in very lil makes you want more not gonna lie. Mmmmm one sec. I'm writing and eating at the moment. The burrito is good but needs a lil more bacon and cheese ! I think to make it over the top. Once you get here be prepared for a line cause this place is bussssinnn' out burritos ! lol. Yes yes and more yes!!! Just visiting and saw this place had some good reviews and wanted to check it out. You can tell this place gets very busy but the customer service is top notch. We got the OG breakfast burrito, spicy OG breakfast burrito, the lavender lemon latte and banana latte. Came back two days later and got another OG breakfast burrito and the breakfast sandwich. They have a variety of salsas but we opted with the cilantro lime and medium green Serrano. Their breakfast sandwich comes with the red OG salsa on the side and is very flavorful. Breakfast burritos are a pretty good size and could be shared between two people. If you aren't really into cheese just ask them to remove it. The burritos also come loaded with crispy tater tots and choice of protein The breakfast sandwich was our least favorite, it tasted pretty greasy and lacked flavor. I would recommend sticking with the Burrito's they have executed them perfectly. The coffee's were really good. Perfect amount of Lavender to lemon ratio. Never had that combo together but it works. The banana latte is creamy and not too overpowering. Maybe I'm just a caffeine addict but the caffeine content wasn't too much. I've passed this place many times in the afternoon but wasn't open due to them closing at 2pm. FINALLY made it a day I could try them out! I got the Pastrami breakfast burrito paired with their house made Salsa Roja and it did not disappoint! It was on point and their salsa is fired roasted to perfection! You can taste the bits of pastrami was got a little char on the grill. Service was fast and overall a nice place to stop in! The store was alittle cold but I love that but some people love the heat so just know you might need a sweater if enjoying in. My husband got the Chorizo breakfast burrito and he like it! Only able to eat half but he was excited because he will have a snack for later! Overall their breakfast burrito are some of the best I've tried in the OC! I LOVE THEIR BREKKIE BURRITOS! And randomly, I like their matcha here too haha. I was not expecting to like it sm c: !! Def try the OG first and then work your way down through the menu. Service is always good and they try to keep things moving. Don't be afraid to ask questions or for their recommendations. The cafe can get really busy on the weekends so I suggest ordering online. Decided to grab a bite. Been wanting to try this place out since I saw it open months back. I was surprised at how small the place is. Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean interior and decent restroom, although it's a single restroom. They mainly focus on breakfast burritos and sandwiches but it's good to keep the menu small. This breakfast burrito lives up to the hype. We got the OG breakfast burrito with light cheese. It's a big and heavy burrito so I suggest sharing. The tater tots were so crispy and the sausage was a little salty. We got the cilantro crema as our sauce and they gave us a generous amount. It was nice and bright and balanced out the heaviness of the burrito. I would come back and recommend this place to others, I just wish they closed a bit later. read more

Best breakfast burrito I've ever had! I ordered online & picked up, which I'm glad I did because I went around 11am and it was pretty busy inside. Picked up my food 20min after pickup time and the food was still fresh and warm. I ordered the OG breakfast burrito and sauces on the side as pictured. The sauce is SO GOOD!! The tots were crispy, sausage was juicy and the overall flavor is so delicious! The burrito is pretty big, you will be super full. I love that it is wrapped very tightly and didn't fall apart at all. One of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had! We came around 9:30 on a Saturday morning and there wasn't much of a wait, but by the time we left there was a huge line. There's not much seating so I would recommend coming early if you're looking to sit down. They do not skimp on the amount of eggs in the burrito and the tater tots are super crispy as well. It is a bit on the heavy side, so I would def recommend eating it with one of the salsas! read more

I'm salivating just thinking about the OG burrito... it was so flavorful and cheesy and the portions were insane! I came in absolutely famished, but I was stuffed after eating just half the burrito. I also love that they have tons of sauce options to choose from. The service was great and their recommendations were very helpful. It's a tidy space with fair amount of seating, and there was little to no line when I visited. Wouldn't be surprised if this spot blew up though. I'm looking forward to my next visit :) read more
I'm all for new players entering the competitive breakfast burrito scene in Orange County, and I stand by the fact that we probably have among the best in the country. LJ's is a familiar name for those in the know, and while I never visited their original truck location and only visited their new one just now, I'm an instant fan. All the concerns over wait are sort of overblown, as I went during peak weekend breakfast hours, and while the number of people can be rather daunting, they run a steady ship here and will get your order out fast. I got the spicy breakfast burrito, and it was full of flavor, with a classic habanero type of orange sauce that was almost unnecessary because the burrito itself was moist with flavor, rare even among great breakfast burritos. They have a legit coffee menu as well, which you would be surprised from a place that serves breakfast burritos. I had an earl grey banana bread latte and the flavor was nice. Seats can be limited, but turnover is fairly quick. The parking lot can get crowded, and it's definitely way too small for the businesses around, but you'll find your way. It's conveniently located nearby The Outlets and Chapman University, so it's a pretty central location. I'll definitely be back soon and I really look forward to trying their other burritos.
