Cozy little patio nestled perfectly in Reynolda Village. I used to visit Penny Path when it was…read morelocated in HP and have finally found my way back to its "new" home in Winston-Salem. My partner and I were greeted immediately upon arriving inside and were told me could sit anywhere we liked on the patio. We could have sat inside, but It was a beautiful day so we wanted to take advantage of the weather and view. We ordered coffees-my dirty chai latte was delicious and my partner was happy with her iced americano as well. We shared the apple crepe and although I wished it had a little more moisture inside, the cinnamon and Nutella were delicious and complimented the apples nicely. The service was excellent, we enjoyed our time, and would definitely return.

We were dropping my daughter off at a summer program at Wake Forest and had about an hour to grab…read moresome food. Village Tavern was my first pick, but was a 25+ min for a table and we were hungry and in somewhat of a rush. We made our way next door to penny path and I was excited for crepes and maybe even more excited for coffee. I had skipped my usual 2 cups that morning thanks to a rushed airport experience. The iced latte hit the spot. Even my 15 year old stole some sips because she liked it and isn't a coffee drinker (yet). As for the crepes it was ok. I went with the Brie, apple and turkey Brie which is usually an amazing combo but just wasn't doing it for me. I ate about half because I was famished and held off on the rest. My husband polished off his Hawaiian crepe and my daughter did the same with her pizza crepe. Since we were there for lunch we went savory over sweet, but the sweet ones did look good. I'd come back for coffee, but would probably eat elsewhere next time. However it was a very cute cafe in an adorable little center not too far from campus.

Reasonably good. Certainly above average for a place in a higher end strip mall. The space was…read morenicely done and spacious. It honestly had the look of a Panera. Navigating the overall experience was a little confusing. There's a clearly visible coffee menu above the counter, but the food menu is somewhat hidden. Fortunately, a staff member noticed my confusion and handed me a menu. There are also portions of the menu that are only available after 11am, and that's not clear on either the menu or the web site. Fine. In terms of food, I ordered a greek crepe with a half greek salad on the side. The salad was good, but not exceptional. Fresh. Crisp. Pre-sliced tomatoes for easy navigation. Probably a little too much feta. The crepe was interesting. It was almost a crepe burrito with greek filling. It was honestly on the heavy side. More crepe than filling, with an extra dusting of cheese on top. In terms of coffee, I would say middling. It wasn't bad coffee. It also wasn't good coffee. Overly bitter and one dimensional. On the other hand, they served the coffee in an oversized ceramic mug, which added some character and quality. Overall, this was a reasonable place to stop for a quick breakfast on a road trip. It wasn't exceptional, and there were some surprises along the way, but the overall experience was fine. It works as a quick pit stop.
