    Short Rib Bolognese (4/5)
    Ian N.

Double Chocolate Cake (5/5): Thick, dense, and rich. This was my kind of cake. The ganache on top was great too. Short Rib Bolognese (4/5): Very creamy with great flavors. The meat was nice and tender too. Octopus Chorizo (4/5): Extremely tender octopus with a seasoning that was a bit strong. The beans complemented it well though. House Cut Za'Atar Fries (4/5): Thick cut fries with lots of seasoning. Pretty solid but nothing special. The aoili was fine but nothing special. Shrimp Skewer (3/5): Nothing special, just shrimp on a skewer. I was hoping for more of a grilled flavor. Gnocchi & Lamb (3/5): Very soft gnocchi. The lamb was strong and pretty gamey. Roasted Carrots (2/5): I just don't like carrots, but the tahini sauce was good. RATING SYSTEM 5 - Great (Need to get this again) 4 - Good (Would get this again) 3 - Ok (Might give this another shot) 2 - Not Good (Won't get this again) 1 - Bad (Telling people to avoid this)

Perfect place for a girl's night!!! We got a ton of menu items and not a single thing was bad - in fact, they were absolutely delicious. I can't wait to come back here to try more of the menu. The service was fantastic, and our waitress gave up amazing suggestions.

Recommended coming to chapter 6 only for the octopus and the cheesecake. The octopus was great however, a very small portion. The cheesecake was fabulous. Our server, Maddie was more than helpful more than gracious. She is an asset to the company.

Such a fun patio for any type of occasion. We had a reservation but ended up not needing it (party of 4 on the patio at 430pm on a Friday) because they open at 4pm. It was fun to have others order who had been there before and trying little bites of thing as it came to the table. THE BEST FRIES I've had in awhile. It's been a few weeks and I'm still thinking about them... yum! Lamb isn't my favorite but the gnocchi dish was well done. Our server was fantastic for the entire evening. I'm excited to go back and try sitting at the bar.

    Hugo Spritz

Stopped here for a Hugo spritz that I was craving. I was disappointed there was no mint in it, however they infuse it with sweet pea which makes it purple. It was pretty, but I think I would've preferred the classic Hugo spritz!

We had a lovely time here last night! Sat outside on the patio and the heaters were a nice touch. The service was super fast and friendly. The recommendations for dishes were perfect and we enjoyed everything. Cannot wait to come back and try more! The spritzes were delicious to drink! Don't skip this spot!

Chapter 6 has slowly become one of my favorite date night restaurants in charlotte. Absolutely amazing food and the service is impeccable (thank you Maddy!). Chapter 6 also has one of the chicest vibes from the plates they use to the salt boxes, and can accommodate lots of larger parties for special occasions. Highly recommend the Butchers Salad and their delicious espresso martini!

The food is exceptional, and the ambiance is 10/10 but the service was SOOOO slow when we went, could easily be a one time thing and would return but the amount of time we spent waiting for our server left me cranky. If you go you HAVE to get the zataar fries, but consider staying away from the pot de creme.

Chapter 6 is an absolute gem next to other popular venues. Parking can be a nightmare, especially on nights and weekends, so plan ahead. I took my (then-) boyfriend here for his birthday dinner, and we decided to go all in with The Treatment, a chef's tasting experience where you hand the menu over to your server and let them take you on a culinary journey. At a great price, this is totally worth it. Honestly, if two people order it, it's like getting 3-4 meals. We had plenty for dinner and still took leftovers home. It was also 1/2-price bottle of wine night, so we indulged in a bottle of Moreau-Naudet Chablis after consulting the sommelier through our server. Perfect pairing for the evening. Here's the breakdown of our tasting adventure: Course 1: Whipped Ricotta with Mint-Pistachio Pistou & EVOO. Our favorite dish of the night, even though neither of us typically likes ricotta! Light, refreshing, and packed with flavor. I'm tempted to recreate this at home. Course 2: Roasted Carrots with Maple Glaze, Pistachio Dukka, Tahini & Pomegranate. A pleasant surprise. Perfectly roasted, and every ingredient complemented the carrots beautifully. Course 3: Fried Skate Cheek (special) with Bok Choy, Poblano, Onion & Sesame. Showstopper alert. I'd come back just for this dish. Please make this a permanent menu item! Course 4: Octopus & Chorizo with Fingerling Potatoes, Hominy, Adobo & Sauce Vierge. We love grilled octopus, and this one delivered--great flavor and texture. Course 5: Butcher's Salad with Sliced Steak, Almonds, Basil, Mint, Torn Croutons, Oranges, Red Onion & Spicy Harissa Vinaigrette. Don't let "salad" fool you. This was hearty and delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked, and that harissa vinaigrette? I'd buy a bottle. Course 6: Gnocchi & Lamb with Braised Lamb Neck, Sofrito & Basil. This one fell flat for us. We love lamb, but the flavor didn't pop compared to the other dishes, and I'm just not a gnocchi fan. Course 7: Sherry Braised Pork Cheek with Potato Chip, Sherry Jus & Herbs. One of my top three courses! The pork cheek was incredible. The potato chips were fine, but they got soggy from the jus. Still, the meat made up for it. Cherry on top: They surprised us with a free birthday dessert--a baklava nest and crumble with homemade vanilla ice cream. We were stuffed but managed a few bites. Baklava is so good, isn't it!?! This wasn't my first visit. I came when they first opened, and while it was good, they had some kinks to work out. They've absolutely nailed it now. Chapter 6 is a must-visit for anyone who loves creative, flavorful dishes and a memorable dining experience. ** Photos before the front entrance photo are from my visit when they first opened.

Chapter 6 was exceptional. The food is to die for and surprisingly affordable if you go with a group and share tapas style. We got the whipped ricotta and omg I still dream about it. It came with fresh bread and a garlic dip that was also a solid 10/10. The broccoli and skewers were just as amazing. The aesthetic, our waitress, and the overall vibe made it an experience I'd come back for ten times out of ten. Everything felt thoughtful and elevated but still super comfortable. Such a fun change of pace from our usual dining spots. If you haven't tried Chapter 6 yet, add it to your list immediately..it's seriously that good.

Work holiday party was a success. Best environment and superb service. Our team wanted for nothing. Smiling faces everywhere with served rotating small plates. Western Mediterranean bold and delightful dishes. Will definitely make a return visit. Well stocked bar with bartenders serving creativity with a nice old fashioned or my lemon drop martini with a sugar rim. We had assorted chicken skewers, prosciutto, vegan offerings, deviled eggs, seasoned shrimp, mushroom toast, beef tenderloin, rigatoni, and the Queen of the Evening for me was their Seafood Paella with lobster, shrimp and mussels. Between the meal and drinks it was a fantastic event. Restaurant has indoor parking and validate! Seating inside is both spacious and inviting with a bar, lounge, private dining room and heated patio. Do yourself a favor and uplift your culinary tastebuds

    Saint-Tropez
    Andi M.

My husband and I returned to Chapter 6 one Saturday evening for dinner. Why did we wait so long to return? First, they now partially validate parking in the attached garage--you just have to pay $5 to exit. I appreciate that the garage accepts ApplePay, too. This time, we sat in the main dining room (with the bar), in a high-top table facing the Rail Trail. What a great view and seat! We much prefer this area as opposed to the dining room near the hostess stand, as it was a bit more casual and great for people-watching. We started with two drinks--the Peace and Friendship for me, and the Saint-Tropez for my husband. The Peace and Friendship was served in a smaller than average sized coupe glass, but it had just the right flavor and alcohol. The Saint-Tropez was a bit smokey, and my husband enjoyed it. We shared four small plates - 1. Melty Nduja - A, This was one of our favorites! The light, oiled bread they serve with it was fantastic, and we appreciated the spicy, flavorful cheese. 2. Spicy Tuna Crudo - A, This was a small portion (with only three thin slices of tuna), but it was full of flavor. 3. Skate Wing - A, This was my favorite dish! It was tender, flaky, and the sauce was amazing, especially with the added bacon and capers. 4. Gnocchi and Lamb - B+, This was the largest of the plates and the lamb was shredded and cooked perfectly. The gnocchi were large, soft pillows that were also cooked well. Our only thought was that this dish could have used either a spoonful of ricotta or shredded parmesan or pecorino romano for a more balanced flavor. The plates were delivered at the perfect intervals. Service was also outstanding. And to top it off, Chapter Six accepts Apple Pay! We can't wait to return!

We went here for a girls night out this past weekend. I've been wanting to check it out as I've heard great things. First off, our server Aimee was amazing! We really enjoyed having her as our server. She was very knowledgeable and personable. She also had the sommelier help us pick wine which ended up being delicious! We all split a few menu items and everything was outstanding. The whipped ricotta is a MUST. Aimee also recommended we get the braised pork cheek. We were a little iffy about ordering it but it ended up being our favorite item! The meat was so tender and melted in your mouth. The wagyu steak skewer was also delicious. Highly recommend. I definitely want to come back soon and try some more items.

They have a Christmas drink menu, mostly sweet, but they also offered to make some minor modifications. I had the Koala LaLaLa, which was more tart with some apple and bitters. My friends only were in line for 5 mins but unfortunately I was the late one and waited in line for 30 mins. Luckily the line does move fairly quickly. If I'm being honest, aesthetically the drinks look good but not worth the price. My friends and I got the koala lalala and were bummed that after paying so much, it was mostly soda water and barely any alcohol for almost $19. Not worth it imo. I did however love the music selection. It was very nostalgic. Despite the technically difficulties they were having, my friends and I had a great time dancing the night away to our favorite middle and high school jams. My only suggestion would be next time for the dj to put his device on do not disturb. Every time a notification came through, the music would lower and was very noticeable. My friends and I laughed it off thinking we were just hearing things at first only for it to continue followed by the speakers completely going out. Overall it was nice to dance and be around holiday cheer but I don't think it would be worth a repeat experience.

A Hidden Gem on South Tryon!…read more I stopped by Folia for lunch one day, and I'm so glad I did. This place is definitely a hidden gem! If you're driving down South Tryon on a busy day, it's easy to miss because it's tucked away a bit, so keep an eye out. Once you find it, you'll be glad you did. I ordered one of their flatbreads, and it came out fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. They had just rolled out their summer menu, so I also tried one of their seasonal refreshers--I believe it was the Watermelon Mango Lemonade--and it was incredible. It was the perfect drink for a hot day! The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about Folia. It's not a huge space, but it's cozy, stylish, and has a relaxed, laid-back vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. The service was excellent, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. There were several other menu items that caught my eye, so I'll definitely be back to try more. I also heard it's a great place to hang out in the evening for drinks, a girls' night out, or a casual date night, and I can definitely see why. If you're looking for a spot with fresh food, great drinks, and a chill atmosphere, I highly recommend checking out Folia. 10/10 recommend! I'll definitely be back.
