The black sesame milkshake with lychee poppers and oreo crumbs (won by spinning the wheel per drink). Be aware that the person running the cashier will not advise to order certain combinations that are deemed strange since it happened to me when I tried to order passion fruit poppers to put in the black sesame milkshake. Otherwise, the wheel to win free things is unique since not many places do it.

Cafe and dessert place and bar all in one by the International Village. This place has everything. Parking is pretty atrocious here. Guess there are some T&T spots in the underground lot. The inside is pretty modern. Nice and quiet too, which makes it great for chatting. The owner is friendly and chatty. The place sells a bit of everything. Sandwiches, soups, pastries, desserts, and more. I was in the mood for something sweet, and went for the signature (award winning) apple cheesecake. I must say this is pretty freaking good. Not too sweet (most other places add way too much sugar), and good texture and consistency. Special mention. For a few dollars more, one can also add upgrades such as ice cream, though I didn't try this time around. I'd gladly come back to try more of their food. Recommended.

Top notch service. I work in customer service and appreciate those who take service to the next level. The gentleman who helped us was great. Very friendly and helped us place out to go order. He proactively brought up the free drink with minimum purchase. We got a lemon drink with boba that was very good. Our dinner included 2 soups a burger and the lobster grilled cheese. All were prepared with fresh ingredients and very tasty. The cheesecake is simply amazing. This place has a very mellow atmosphere and is very welcoming. Prices are fair and the service is 2nd to none.

A few of us came here for a early evening snack. We ordered various bubble teas and a few snacky dishes. Even though we were the only ones in the restaurant, the server insisted that we place our order online. We couldn't understand why, and when we were ready to pay, he gave us a discount cuz we ordered on line. Ambiance: 4/5 - clean and pleasant environment Food: 4/5 - good selection of bubble teas and snacks. We ordered fries, chicken tenders, and deep fried gyoza. All were tasty. Really wanted dessert but limited selection Service: 4/5 - pleasant & friendly server who encouraged us to order the appies to get a discount Parking: 3/5 - metered parking on the street. Can be a challenge to find Location: 3/5 - location just steps from T & T near the roundabout Value: 3/5 good value

I went here on Jan24th for a cake fix and Yelp showed me Charisma near Chinatown. I wanted to try somewhere different other than Trees so Charisma seemed to be perfect spot. I had Apple Cheesecake ($7.50) and Lemon Tea ($2.75) and they were delicious. Cheesecake was big and filling, and I felt worried if I couldn't have dinner afterwards. The owner was friendly. Food is self-serve and wifi is available. I'd like to try Earl Grey or Blueberry Lavender flavour on my next visit.

This cafe is lovely inside... right when you walk in there's some plants and a small fountain, and the seating area is very spacious and neat. Ordering was a little confusing for me though - if you look at the way the seating area is structured, it's like a table service restaurant, and they had waiters bringing food to people in the booths. Not sure if you can sit down and order. I just wanted to grab a drink and sit outside, so I stood by the counter for a few minutes, but as all the staff was dealing with the sit-down customers, I began to wonder if maybe I wasn't meant to order from the counter. Eventually someone came to take my order, though, and he was very friendly. It again took a while for them to make my drink, and they apologized for the wait. Not a big deal since they were so well-mannered and I wasn't in a hurry. I got the fresh taro milk tea with pudding. Anywhere I can get a fresh taro drink is usually a win for me. I was expecting more of a taro flavour to the milk tea but I think it's just plain milk tea with fresh taro bits. The taro was great, the milk tea could have been a little stronger. If I had known it was a milk tea with fresh taro and not a fresh taro-flavoured milk tea I would've gotten a different topping since the taro and pudding is a bit of a difficult texture combination, but the pudding was still very good. The pricing for the bubble tea is so reasonable! Most drinks come out to about $5 when you add toppings, and the cup is rather large. I want to come back to try the cheesecake. Everything in the display looked so appetizing...

Had dessert at this place and our experienced was very good. The place is lovely and spacious, perfect for chilling and conversation. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The cheesecake and tea we ordered are very good, not very sweet. This place is a must to try.

My friends and I were looking for a place to do some work and catch up for the new year. Pros: -Good portions: the waffles came with enough topping to share between three people ( mind you we had eaten a full meal already but it was a good snack size for each person) -Very friendly staff : the man (manager/owner) who took our order suggested many items to us, cracked alot of jokes, and offered to give us three cups for a pot of tea ) - spacious tables and good light: ample outlets noted around so maybe a good place to study too - a variety of desserts and meals: noted a ' happy hour' deal including 2 drinks and 2 appetizers or something like that. Though we only shared a dessert, there were many lunch deals noted on the walls. -convenient location: right by the stadium- Chinatown station Cons: - a little pricey: can't remember what the exact price was, but for an order of the fruitopia waffles with a toffee brandy ice cream and a pot of tea ( add on of $3-4) was $6.50 each for three people. Minus 1 star for the pricing but literally that was the only con so despite that, I would definitely want to come back to try the other menu items! There was ample seating though not sure if it was because it was Sunday when we went.

    For private parties!

Still at it's soft opening time frame, but the menu has already expanded into lunch menus! Well, I was actually here for the desserts that I saw outside the cafe. As there were many items that I wanted to try out, I downloaded their app and for more deals in the future. Right now, when you load up $30, you get 10% back so that pretty good;)! Okay, back to the cheesecake.., I ordered the matcha cheesecake. It's very fluffy and not to sweet or heavy. Yummy! I order the Chai tea to pair with it and it actually came in a small teapot that holds 600ml! Good deal!

The boba drinks were ok. I can barely taste the jasmine green tea in my boba, it tasted watered down. We will probably not go back.

One thing noticeable about this restaurant is the lacking of plates. They used majority of their plates to serve the food on. However the food were served as finger foods and we were expected to hold our food in our hand. Somewhat strange. They also ran out of glasses during the party. The bartender couldn't even keep up with our drinks. Anyways other than the above. The event was a great event. I got the opportunity to try all four of their mocktails: - Blueberry Basil Lemonade - Mango Lavender Lemonade - Minty-Berry Sour - Pear Lavender Sour All their drinks were very fancy prepared and my favorite are the Minty-Berry Sour and the Blueberry Basil Lemonade. I also found that there is some inconsistency in the glass they serve it out of. The food was delicious as mentioned before. My favorite out of their finger foods were the grill cheese brisket. OMG that was really good. The other memorable items are the porkbelly and fried chicken. I think the fried chicken is one of their popular items on the menu served during brunch. The cheesecake at the end I got was very soft but flavorful. The cheeseburger slider was really good too. Overall I really enjoyed the food. The atmosphere and decor of the place was nice. The restaurant is very small. Because we were over 100 people, there was a wait for the 3 stalls in the bathroom. There was not enough tables and chairs for everyone to sit. I think the restaurant can comfortably maybe accommodate around 40 or 50 guests max. I will definitely be back again someday to try their brunch menu.

We ordered the limited offering of the strawberry creme croissant plus got a regular croissant, onion jam & bacon, pistachio & raspberry, and ham & cheese. All of these croissants were DELICIOUS and the regular croissant brings me memories of Paris! Yes, they are pricey but at around $1.50 to $2.50 more than a croissant from Starbucks a block away, it is well worth it as a treat. I look forward to tasting more flavours and taking friends here to catch up over a delicious croissant and hot cup of tea.
