Love coming here. We had the Shaved Ice Medium with 4 toppings---strawberry, mango, lychee poppers and mixed fruit jelly. It's enough to share and so good with addition of condensed milk. It's like eating snow. So yummy! Place is tiny, with about 8 tables. It draws young crowd. Service is quick and efficient. There's plenty parking outside.

Big selection of toppings ! these are large size which come with up to 8 toppings included. we got a table and then order at the counter. Be prepared to wait , it took a long time for our order to come out.

Strawberry Nutella pancake and tiramisu pancake
    Anushka B.

Ordered this on UberEats, it's a dessert, bubble tea, juice, and smoothie bar. They are open late so it's perfect for late night munchies! They had a mix of any two pancakes for $10 deal so I tried their strawberry nutella pancake and their tiramisu pancake. I would give both of those a 3.5/5. The filling was not bad, just like how you would imagine it to take but the pancake that it was wrapped in had a different texture. It left an aftertaste and I wasn't the biggest fan. Their mango sticky rice was not bad, it was a bit warm and the rice was a little TOO sticky. Also a 3.5/5 Their nutella thick toast was my favourite, the toast was delicious. Just wish their was more filling of nutella in there - 4/5. I would visit them in-person to give an update review! Sometimes the taste was change due to delivery time

Super busy dessert place on the NE corner of Alderbridge and No.3. Parking is plentiful in the strip mall lot, but it can get full thanks to the adjacent restaurants. The interior is fairly beaten up and dated. Nothing wrong with that though. Oh yeah, the place is pretty small, so if it's full, expect to stand outside for a while. Selection is pretty decent. They have juice, bubble tea, dessert bowls, sticky rice desserts, and shaved ice. Got all the bases covered for Asian desserts. Good place to check out if one doesn't mind the wait times. Recommended.

I LOVE icey bar and always have for numerous years. I didn't go though for about 3 years and can say they've really improved their icy's and amped up their menus with new desserts. The matcha crepe cake was sooo delicious, you can tell they use good ingredients and good amounts of quality matcha. They're sporadically busy and not busy throughout the day. A few weeks when I went we got our order almost immediately but last week it took quite a while because there were big parties seated. My go to order lately has been a 3 topping icy with pudding, a fruit popper, and a fruit (usually mango). Also I think it's super worth it to add an icecream scoop.

Medium shaved Oct with fresh mango, fresh strawberries, fresh lychee, and mango mochi.

Great concept for a dessert place, and it's usually busy and lined up here. They have many hot and cold desserts to choose from, and their signature is the shaved icy bowl, served with your choice of toppings, and evaporate milk. You can also get ice cream on top of the shaved icy. It's cash or debit card payments only here.

Mango Mochi Shaved Ice with Vanilla Ice Cream

Ordered the Mango Mochi Shaved Ice with Vanilla Ice Cream. It came out to $16.50. Just a note for you if you decide to sit in the store. You have to order at the till first. They will not come and ask you what you want to order. This place is also cash and debt only. The mochi is mediocre. It reminded me of flour soup dumplings my mom made for sweet Chinese dessert soups back in the day. No real flavour. The mango mochi was the same, no real flavour but it was slightly different from the normal mochi. The mango was nice and not overly sweet. The vanilla ice cream I must say, was one of the best things on this dessert. Nice and creamy, with a good vanilla flavour. Overall, I'd try this place again.

The best TW shaved ice I've ever had outside of TW. The toppings were cooked to perfection (not too hard/soft) and just the right degree of sweetness that's not overpowering. Would be hard to stay away if I lived anywhere near metro Vancouver.

Came on a Saturday. Very busy but we managed to snag the last free table. We got the white rabbit shaved ice and you get to choose 2 toppings. For the price and size, it's a great dessert to share amongst a table. You could definitely share the shaved ice with 3 people. I love that they give you condensed milk in a bottle and you can add it according to your preference. Would recommend this place if you are looking for a dessert place in Richmond as they open till late (aka past 9pm). Also love their music choice here. Their white rabbit shaved ice is not overly sweet and definitely tastes like white rabbit. I would get it again Tip: they don't split bills here. Plan accordingly

    Merry Christmas (Mango Crepe Cake)

I love ICY BAR! They have the best mango crepe cake however their strawberry crepe cake is OK. They hand make it with their special recipes. I ordered my hubby's birthday cake here, my mother's birthday cake, and for other occasions. I also love their durian pudding here too! They have the best service here and I recommend this Taiwanese dessert place to anyone that's in Richmond and Vancouver as they have two locations. One of my favourite Taiwanese dessert places! Presentation and taste is wonderful too!!

The House Special Tofu was a standout dish that exceeded all expectations. The tofu was incredibly silky and delicate, and it melted in my mouth with every bite. Next up was the Sesame Paste, and I must say, it was a revelation. Creamy, rich, and nutty, the sesame paste was an indulgent treat that left me craving for more. Have a hot one is really delightful even in summer! Well the matcha tea ice is just normal, but still is a great choice for summer and for a group of people to share.

I haven't visited this place even though we live close by. During the hot wave days it was too hot for us to stay at home, so we decided to go visit somewhere we can enjoy some cold dessert. Their menu has a lot of variety and it's quite intensive. It took me a while to go through them and make a decision. It's one of the few restaurants that allowed dine-in after the ease of the restriction, which made us very happy because we can sit comfortably to enjoy the dessert. They are known for the shaved icy which comes with a lot of toppings to choose from. If you don't know what to get, you can also choose from the special Icy menu which has less choices but preset, and you just have to choose which kind you like. That's what we did, and we are quite happy with our choice. My daughter loves mango and strawberry, and she was so happy to have both in one bowl! It's a pretty big portion so I do recommend to share if you don't think you can finish the whole thing to yourself. It also comes with the condense milk which you can pour on the ice after finishing the toppings. It makes the ice so much sweeter! We'll definitely go back and explore more on the menu. Parking is free but do come early if you want to dine in on a hot day, there is a bit of a wait.

A lot of choices! Presentation is not as great as other pricey ones, but we don't need to pay for the fancy looks, right?-- as long as the foods are great! This is more like a combination of Meet Fresh and Snackshot.

The tofu pudding was AMAZING - freshly made with a delicate soy milk flavor, silky smooth and melts in your mouth. The yam balls are equally impressive, nice yam flavor with just the right amount of chewiness. I could happily eat this all day!

I feel like their other dessert options probably have potential and I can see this being an excellent post dinner hang out spot. Turkey On Rice (3.75/5): Rice and gravy was tasty, but turkey was a bit overcooked and kinda chewy. Black Sesame Mochi (3.75/5): This came out piping hot and the flavors were good (can't go wrong with black sesame and peanuts), but the texture of the actual mochi wasn't as chewy as I like. Satisfying, but not anything special. Taiwanese Sausage on Sticky Rice (2/5): Not sure what the red sauce was, but I really was not a fan; too sweet and had a weird funk to it. Taiwanese sausage also didn't have the right texture or flavor, you want the signature big chunks of fat. Pineapple Shaved Ice (4/5): Decently fluffy shaved ice and the pineapple was candied like the inside of a pineapple cake. Grass jelly sat at the bottom of the bowl and added an extra satisfying jello texture. Traditional Fresh Milk Tea (1/5): Way too sweet and the tea flavor was kinda bland. Maybe the other drinks are better.

God bless the Chinese uncle that owns and runs the place... he and the lady taking the order barely spoke English, so we stumbled with our Mandarin. I think they even spoke Taiwanese with each other?!? Instead of ordering multiple drinks, we just ordered the one mango lover's coconut pudding. Honestly, we didn't know what the heck we ordered and we ordered it to go. It took a little while to prepare, but when it came we were presented with a coconut wrapped in cellophane. We were intrigued and had to open it right then and there. We were treated to a coconut FILLED with fresh mango, mochi, and pudding... all in a fresh coconut - the coconut meat was thin, so you knew it was juicy and fresh! My oldest kid did his best to claim it all for himself as we all wanted a taste. In the end, we did the only thing logical and had to order a second. I would absolutely, hands-down, recommend this place. The family that owns the place deserves our patronage and they've earned it in their own humble way. God bless.
