Let me start off by saying that Ms.Ware you are the biggest blessing .You have the best personality you're willing to go above and beyond to help anyone and I Thank you for all your help you get 5.Unfortunately the disappointment of this review is that I give this post office 1star for poor communication, customer service lacks Professionalism and its one Particular person by the name of FALCON Who represents the Chicago Postal service. I asked for the postmaster's phone number and U gave me the number 2 the hearing impaired For the postal service You're unprofessional I think that you should be in the back of the house instead of the front because I don't think that you are equipped enough professional enough intelligent enough to help anyone who needs help I'm unsure if you missed a training Class but I think that you should be retrained on how to work and speak with customers .I hardly ever come into this Particular Post Office because everyone complain about the service. It's not the post office it's these substitute drivers not my regular mail carrier who lie and claim they attempted delivery but they haven't. I left a note informing them I was home and left the intercom number to dial and I will come down. The funny part I waited 30 minutes walking the block with my dogs and neighbor and not once saw a USPS truck, then I get the message "attempted delivery" I've never experienced an issue with USPS until I moved over in this area. I've already reported them to Amazon they noted in my account all future deliveries to be handled by their drivers. If you have Amazon packages call the Amazon customer service and you can request the Amazon driver for deliveries on your account easier to track them then USPS. Terrible service with lazy, lying, stealing employees. They claim to make an attempt to deliver packages and never did. I don't recommend anyone have packages shipped with or by them. You're better off having UPS or FedEX deliver at least they leave failed attempt notices! read more

This post office is absolutely disgusting! The employees are rude, lazy, totally ignorant about their own jobs. I was told today that the post office does not have an online tracking system and that I had to be lying! The utter disrespect is completely out of control. No one is ever available to assist and they dont have enough traffic to have me waiting at a window for 30 minutes and I'm the only customer in the store. You can literally hear them in the back laughing and talking like they are out on a street corner and not at work. This place needs to be totally re-staffed, there are people who need Job's and will actually work. Management needs to be replaced as well because there is no way this is all going on without their knowledge. The worst, ratchet, ignorant post office ever! Today a mail carrier when in my court way and went to all the apartment buildings except mine. Me being 7 1/2 months pregnant ran after him and asked him why he skipped our apartment and he claims our building didn't have no mail. We haven't had our mail in over a week and people in my building were missing bills, checks, packages, etc. I call the ratchet post office and they come up with different excuses, I'm so sick of them! You can't mess with people's mail like that. Everybody working in that place need to be fired and trained better. Never dealt with this situation in my life! read more

This is perhaps the worst Postal office in the Chicago area....RUN!!!!!!!! THEY STEAL!!!! I purchased items on two different occasions from www.bebe.com, I have not received either order. The USPS tracks these items under the following tracking numbers (9102901001300126095515), which is said to have attempted delivery on 12/4...and (9102901001300134175964) which is said to have been delivered on 12/18. The first item shows no further information concerning my items after 12/4 and when the office is contacted they can't find the item, I visit the office to speak to a supervisor, the supervisor is unnecessarily rude and avoids me, refuses to give me her full name and says that all i need to know is that she is Mrs. Williams, than reluctantly decides she will take my information and contact me if they find my package. No one ever contacts me, I call consistently and I am told that a claim has been made and that it will be forwarded to consumer affairs, but nothing more will be done. The second order says it has been delivered on 12/18 but I check the mail every single day...and I have not received any mail....I seriously believe that the postal courier is stealing my packages. I purchased these items as Christmas gifts and they should have been delivered well before 12/25...and at this rate I can expect that I will not receive any of these items before or after 12/25 for that matter. I purchased these items and in good faith believed they would be delivered to me, the rightful owner, but instead poor business practices and horrible customer service is all that has been delivered. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! I have filed a complaint with the better Business Bureau and the United States Postal Inspection Service. I highly advise that anyone in this area use alternate postal services. read more

I went to this post office a few times. Sometimes they are really nice, others not so much. But what really pissed me off was when I went to find out about passport processing, and she told me to go to 73 and cottage, well it turns out there is no post office in that location! All I can say is "ditto" to what everyone else has said. The service, if you can call it that, is terrible. We travel a bit and often need to put our mail on hold. If we ask that it be delivered when we get back, it doesn't happen. We have to go down to the post office and make them look for our mail. They will tell us we have no mail, when we know we do. We have to go back a few times, then miraculously, we have tons of mail. In their defense, I have been in there when they are being cursed out and abused by crazy people for something they had nothing to do with. No one should have to put up with that on the job. However, they should shut it down and put the rest of us out of our misery! read more

Terrible customer service. They have the customers waiting so long. The staff just drag alone all day. They move like turtles. Also, I have a post office box there and they are always putting someone else mail in my box. This was a previous owner of the box. This office is so messy. They need to be taught phone etiquette also, they are so ghetto. They talk too loud. You can hear them in the back just running off at the mouth. Philippe T., you got lucky that day, this post office is the worst and everyone complains about them. The only time they move fast is when it's almost time for the office to close. I am so glad I don't live in the area anymore and I will be discontinuing my post office box there. I advise everyone, please don't go to this post office, they will disappoint you every time.
