It hurt when he tried to put it in straight, so he put it in at an extreme angle towards the back of my jaw. After being the sickest I've ever been in my life for about four months, I went back to get the tooth put on the post, at which time he removed the post, told me that it had failed and immediately left the room. Then he refused to reimburse me at all. I finally talked him in to giving me half my money back, but he never did. After repeated phone calls made to his office over a few months and being given various excuses about how it was "in the works" I finally went to confront him personally and was told he could not give my money back because of the ressession. When I got slightly irate about this lame excuse, he said he was going to call the police. I left and when I got home I had a message from the Hartwell police to come and see them. So I did. Turns out, he had his receptionist call the police and act like I had scared her, when actualy he and I had stepped outside at his request to discuss the matter, and she had not been menanced in the least.(for that matter neither had he. He's a 6' 2 240 pound steroid freak, and I was about 5"10 160 pound 49 year old sick man. I did not menace anybody.) I was banned from his property and told not to contact him again and had to sign apiece of paper agreeing to this. The police captain I talked to at the time was very nice and suggested that I sue Dr? Smith, but I was too sick to pursue this course of action and just moved on. There were several other Horror stories I could tell about this creep, but I expect you get the general idea. In my opinion he should have his license revoked but there's not much I can do Except warn others of his lieing, thieving, hamhanded butchery. stay away from this thief!!!!

I had an appointment but I wasn't scheduled to have all the work done that was done yet they did it all in one visit, which I truly appreciated. I wasn't going to have more work done not because of them but because I'd just gotten all the screws and wires out of my mouth from my mouth being wired shut and my case was difficult but after speaking with them they told me about choices and options I never knew existed which ended up being exactly what I wanted so I'll definitely be going back they've made an extremely difficult situation so much better especially Rebekah & Dr. Harris. Was supposed to get a tooth pulled the 3rd of July told me to come back in 2 hrs for it to be done…read more Came back after 2hrs to be sat in the back room with my whole face numb for hrs to tell me they can't pull it today. Had to pay up to $100 to be seen and was seen for a total of 15min for them just to send me home. Wasted 6hrs of my day in total waiting and to get it "pulled". Came back the 13th to actually get it pulled told me the payment plans for it would be interest free for so many months but checked into it and now paying 18% apr. Look into your own financing when planning to come and or just bring the full amount. Absolutely check the reviews of this place!! Not professional, not good care Quality, and they are in the game to scam you out of money lots of it too!!

I have a knee replacement next month. He wanted to ensure that my dental benefits would cover the extractions. Thus, he advised me that given the necessity for the extractions and their cost, he was going to forego the procedures he had planned. Of course, this also meant that he was not making the money he would have earned. That this type of medical professionalism is exceedingly rare is unfortunate. Really, it ought to be pro forma. Yet, we all know how rare it is for anyone to forego payment, for any reason! Anyone seeking a a painless dental experience, as well as great staff and doctors who will look after your best interest, rather than that of their bank account needs to call Lakeside Family Dental.
