He contradicts himself from one visit to the next. When you have a serious medical condition, and try to explain the precautions for procedures, he huffs, "It doesn't matter." He didn't even try to help with the reason for my visit on this particular day. All he wanted to discuss was an upcoming procedure, which is not happening with him. He said one thing the first visit and a totally different thing this time. He's all over the place. I will find a kind and competent dentist that listens to medical concerns. And by the way, I have friends and family who have left the practice since Dr Owen took over, because of some of the same things I am sharing now. I guess they figured they would drive me to the point of sheer exhaustion and wear down my resistance to the plan. Complete waste of my day. I waited a week for this appointment. I have to start all over now with a new dentist. The dentist, herself, was very callous about my plight. Suggesting I take Ibuprofen. Like I hadn't already thought of that!
