I booked online & was given one of their very first appt. Oh man what a great experience! Everyone from the receptionist Terry to the Benefits coordinator Corinne was respectful super nice & very helpful. I wasn't sure they took her insurance but before we could see the doctor, Esteban already confirmed that she was covered. Our first encounter was Kayleigh the technician that took the Xray pics & was patient, courteous & respectful of her pain by being very gentle. The next was the hygienist Jaime who was respectful, knowledgeable & explained all that was occurring with my cousin. Doctor Roumiana arrived & explained in detail what was occurring to give her the pain that she was experiencing. It turns out that the Smilist diagnosed her incorrectly. Corinne explained the bill in detail & provided us with our financing options, which included what items were covered by the insurance & what was out of pocket. Needless to say my cousin received exceptional treatment at Aspen for her tooth pain & other dental concerns & had a great experience. I have been to many dentist before Dr. D did my root canals, post and crown. He is not only thorough but also is a funny guy. The receptionist at the front desk was very welcoming. What an awful experience we just had at Dr Patcoff in Deer Park…read more My daughter needed a tooth pulled. Shes got HORRIBLE anxiety and is terrified of the dentist. He knew this from the consultation. He basically came in said your options are a drink, a shot, an IV or the hospital. No compassion or caring at all. He kicked my son out of the room who was there for support. After she had a 45 minute panic attack he comes in and says I booked this for an hour, you wasted my time I can't do anything now. And walked out. Then the girl at the desk had the nerve to tell me it was going to be $190.00 for the drink he mixed that she couldn't even get down because she was panicking so badly and vomited/dry heaved. So if you have a child with a fear of the dentist DO NOT GO HERE. THEY DONT CARE. You are not a person, your just money!!!

I've never had a cavity and a lot of the reviews for dentists seemed like they wanted to rush into all of this dental work. I was calling around to many offices getting so much attitude and lack of care for my pain - no one could allegedly see me for more than 3 months, even in an emergency. Frustrated, I finally found doctor freedman! His receptionists were the ONLY ones I spoke to over the phone who had an ounce of compassion and although they couldn't get me in asap, they put me on the emergency call list which happened to get me in the next day due to a cancellation. When I got there the process was seamless - quick check in and wait time and incredibly pleasant staff from the front desk to the X-ray tech to the doctor himself. Doctor freedman was incredibly honest, I came in thinking I needed an emergency root canal because of a cavity so he could have totally swindled me and recommended all of this work and I would have believed him. Instead, he said in a calm manner that everything is fine and he could refer me to an orthodontic surgery if I wanted but it wasn't necessary. The pain has mostly subsided but I wanted to see a professional just to be sure. Definitely recommend for an honest and experienced professional!
