Went to open a IRA to go along with my other accounts. They started to do it at the front desk with my info for everyone to hear and see. I asked to go to a office and was taken to what appeared to be the lunch room and was told they would bring me a laptop and I could do it myself. I thought the guy was joking, but no he was serious. He said that is the way they do it. Somebody out there done gave me an "Oh no," referencing my rosy Review of this joint from back in the day, when they were way up further East on Craycroft @ Sunrise. Jeffery was my guy then. Well times have changed, but this joint's interior only slightly. Nowadays, you only go as far East as Campbell and bang, it's standing tall on a corner lot in the Escondido [sic?] strip shopping center. Out in these parts, that's considered upper eschelon, dides, cause it's smack dab in the middle of old school "foothills" region. It's in the "sittin' pretty" neighborhood where Sir Campbell looks down at "the Old Pueblo." So I went back in there a couple times 12/2022--2/2023 and my passenger agreed their hospitality remains "second to none." Not only did it feature full Keurig machinery to dose you up with premium tea & coffee packets, but they'll even sport you a SCHWAB mug on the go. My original review, spot on. It's true they don't local answer phones , but their 800 number may greet you like a dearly beloved conceirge. So if you REALLY want to speak with their latest Broker & Chief, just introduce your sheet to 800-435-4000, mkay, it'll happen. Full disclosure, I manage my own investments so at no point have I relied on it to think or market trading activities to me. My only exposure: government checks that require physical deposit. My only suggestions ref: "room for 'provement" would be: 1) Make my check deposits into PensionMaster accounts via mobile app, & 2) Open an office in Mayaguez or Rincon or hell, even Isabela,PR works. HORRIBLE WEB SERVICES. COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE. I am totally not impressed with this company. Every time I try to create an account in order to receive my inheritance it does not save my completed information and then my login does not work. This has happened twice. Then I had to call and reset the account. I called and I was told to go to a local branch. I went to a local branch they said I should not have come in for opening an account because it takes longer. Longer than 3 online attempts!? I submitted a paper application with all my identity paperwork PLUS my case number, estate number and ticket number. I called 5 business days later - STILL NO ACCOUNT NUMBER This has been 3 weeks of me attempting to get my inheritance money from them. WTF Worst system and service. I suggest avoiding. read more

This branch needs new management, new staff or both. I recently went into the branch to get four documents notarized. Upon entering, I identified myself as owning multiple Schwab accounts. The customer rep at the front desk went to a back office and returned a few minutes later and stated they could only notarize Schwab documents. Pressing the issue further, the notary (Emma Anderson) who had turned down my request, stated that she was concerned she would make a mistake notarizing a simple Power of Attorney form. Really? After presenting evidence of my Schwab account balances, Ms. Anderson offered to notarize the forms. I declined that offer because why should I trust a notary who only knows how to notarize Schwab documents. Wow. I have had an account here for many years. I have tried for 3 days to make an appointment. They don't answer the phone, you get transferred to the national office. National office said they would send a message to the Tucson office that I wanted an appointment. Never happened or the branch ignored it. I drove to the branch, was told to take and seat and then was basically told I could do everything on line. They were not willing to give me an appointment. Unbelievable. Went to Schwabs ONLY Tucson office. The complete opposite side of town. I had a small check from Schwab to the trustee, that is me. I wanted to deposit said check. I never got past the very unhelpful lady at the front "desk". I was told I can't deposit the check, no one else here to help, and NO I can not try to reach your account manager in NY. Then I was told I was agitated, This was the first true statement. I was dressed casually and treated as if I was invading the private sanctum. We pay them to help us, I was not only not offered someone else to help me but told point blank NO. A lot of power for the reception area. Very very disappointed. We scheduled an appointment days in advance, giving the representative notice that we were coming from out of town and had a short amount of time in Tucson. We waited 1/2 hour beyond our appointment time before we left. The representative did not give us advance notice about being delayed, sent out some unknown person 15 minutes into our wait who could "answer some of our questions" until we were able to meet, and did not send an apology for the delay. Very unprofessional. If they can't manage time, how can they manage money? read more
