Everything is custom-fit and custom-made from the highest quality standard materials that I've ever seen. I love the process from start to finish. Going through the books and samples and picking out the materials and designs. Coming in for the fittings. And then eventually walking out with my new swag and then wearing it for the first time. Just as impressive is the customer service and pride they take in their work. Well after August 3rd robotics colon resection and fixing the pulled to tight with scar tissue from 1 years old at ingalls hospital now university of Chicago the team at 95th street put hupty dumpty back together and it corrected itself and I put myself on a diet that I call carnivore diet low carb as of February 1st 2023 and I with my serum that I came up with 18 years ago and the grace of God lost all that weight and my diabetes ,anklitos spondylitis, gout, and Multiple Sculirouis are all gone with high PSA and enlarged prostate and high blood pressure is all gone and I'm in the best shape of my life at age 52 year old born 14th of February and that's all God and I spent 1100 on new clothes with Threads and got a new belt as the American made belt I have from Threads almost wraps around my skinny butt now twice. That being said I kept all my suits from men's wearhouse and I went to them and asked the tailors if they fix my clothes as the label men's wearhouse George Zimmerman stated if you buy from us we have your back as long as you lose the weight will tailor your suits and clothes for free. Well guess what Zimmerman sold the business to another company and the nice tailor there said we do not honor George's marketing concept anymore and said to me that it would cost me 100 dollars a pants of suit jacket to retail all my clothes so I walked out that orland park store and it'll will be a large law suit because that's called false marketing and that company that George Zimmerman owned called men's wearhouse has to honor his business contract as that's been in effect since he started business and anyone with a law degree can understand it false representation and advertising to not honor that as the new owner purchased the past owners company and same policy's. That being said I buy local as Fred the owner of Threads has been a friend since 1997 and he and his team of people have been awesome for all the years I struggled as a portly fat guy now to a skinny 52 year old muscle bound warrior that loves the Lord and my body is now a well oiled machine and I feel like 21 again. Fred the owner at Threads big and tall has awesome clothes for all your needs for every occasion and I still shop there and he's a great friend and his employees are awesome too. Getting to pick out the different fabrics, styles, buttons, and stitching was made easy and enjoyable by Jennifer. I thought I would treat myself and go to their showroom in Chicago. I was measured by Elias, a nice young guy. I spent a couple of thousand dollars, and the suits arrived a couple of months later. I tried on the jackets and realized that they fit poorly. The collars sat off of my neck by nearly a half an inch. This jacket fit like a cheap store bought suit without any tailoring. Far from a made to measure suit that I paid nearly $1000 for, and I bought two. I reached out to Elias immediately to express my extreme dissatisfaction. Communication with Elias was very spotty and I had to repeatedly reach out to him. He finally agreed to remake the jackets. I insisted that the measurement was off, but he said it was not. After a few more months, and many phone calls and text messages, where I was unable to reach him, the newly made jackets arrived. They fit exactly the same with the large, cheap suit, gap off the back of my neck. I've worn one of them a couple of times, but I get mad every time I put it on. Today I put on the other one to see that huge gap looking at me from the mirror. I paid a couple of thousand dollars for two suits , and they fit like crap. I will never do business with Knot Standard again. I have literally spent thousands of dollars with them over the years, no more. I cannot wear these suits. They fit like crap and they make me angry every time I put them on and think of the money I wasted. I'm going to donate them to Goodwill next week.

My niece…read moreand I went to purchase her prom date's tux after he had been fitted a week prior with salesman Jeff Simon. My niece and I practically picked out everything and proceeded to locate the salesman of our choice. We were greeted with what seemed like disdain and rudeness. Jeff rushed us through the visit (there were no customers waiting). When we tried to disclose to him the nature of the visit, he would cut us off instead of listening. He seemed annoyed overall, especially when we were assertive about our choices. Now, all of the aforementioned wouldn't have been problematic if he was actually good at his job. I paid for a tux rental, a shirt, and a tie. Lo and behold, when prom date arrived to the store today, it was discovered that Jeff hadn't correctly documented our order. There was unnecessary chaos and confusion. If you value quality customer service, don't spend your bucks here. Update: I posted a review fb as well to warn customers about the poor service I had recieved. The mister shop responded, validating their gross incompetence and lack of professionalism. Then, after they were exposed, they took down the fb thread. Again, I would not recommend anybody spend their hard earned cash to be mistreated at this place.
