I asked whether larger sizes were simply out of stock or not ordered at all, and was told they generally only order up to 34". The team is friendly and the prices are reasonable. I've been visiting for years and have watched the space grow. That said, the lack of size inclusivity is disappointing. If you don't care about broader size availability and fall within their range, it may be worth checking out--the shop is well curated in theory. What a cute shop! Welcome to the neighborhood! It's billed as a shop for men, but I think their things appeal to everyone. The owner is super handsome and incredibly friendly - what a great guy! And he's an Andersonville resident, one of our own, another reason to patronize this cool shop. The clothes are mostly for men, but a few of the shirts and jackets could definitely be unisex, when you're going for casual, just got done hiking sorta look - that works for anyone. High quality items, and the prices are not bad at all. Lots of candles, grooming supplies and bar ware. A few books. Everything is well designed, stylish and would add a lot of flair to your swinging pad. Everything is nicely displayed, great gifts for most anyone who is design conscious and stylish. I really want to like this store. I support brick & mortar retail as much as possible. The store has a cool vibe, and it's not a chain. The owners were in the vanguard of Andersonville's revitalization. That said, some of their clothing is middling quality at premium prices. Cotton-polyester blends are the rule rather than the exception. I'm diligent in caring for my clothes, but my t-shirts from C&A have pilled immediately - as in, pilled after one wash on cold followed by drying on my rack. Does it cost that much more to source 100% cotton? Also, their return/exchange policy is poor. I received a Christmas gift of a shirt that was too large. Now, in fairness to the store, I did not receive a gift receipt. But in fairness to me, the tags were on the shirt, and I hadn't worn it except to try it on. I brought it in clean and folded. And I just wanted to exchange like for like, but one size smaller. I wasn't trying to pull off some sort of merch-for-cash grift. Unfortunately, the shirt was out of stock, so they couldn't exchange it. OK, fine, that happens. But then the salesperson wouldn't give me store credit because I didn't have the receipt. Really? 90 seconds after telling me an exchange was OK? And no, I'm not going to--as instructed by the store--trek across the city to hassle the gift giver for the receipt so that I can trek back across the city to attempt a return/exchange a second time. I've already wasted too much time. The shirt will be re-gifted to or go to charity. I'm not going to leave a one-star "They're dead to me" review. But please, Cowboys and Astronauts, try to do better. read more

I recently discovered C&A online...what a GREAT find!! I purchased a few things as gifts and received the package promptly. Each piece was wrapped in navy tissue paper and looked to have been packaged with great care. One of the items had a zipper that had snapped in half. My new favorite store in the city. Think of a local version of Huckberry, Best Made etc. They have a curated collection of outerwear, cool gadgets, EDC and grooming essentials.
