They charged me for a chimney cleaning and stove cleaning. I totally agree they cleaned the stove. However, I just took out my wood stove last week to be replaced with a gas stove and it was very apparent to all that the chimney was never cleaned. And No, the stove was not used after it was cleaned. I went away on vacation to New Mexico after that cleaning and came back to warmer weather in March so I wasn't messing with that stove. I have 2 chords of wood left to prove that, lol. So I call Wellers and was called a liar. They refused to rectify the situation. Even when I mentioned I would just like the chimney cleaned correctly so it wasn't dripping creosote down my brick hearth. Wasn't asking for money back or anything crazy. The woman I spoke with told me since I went with someone else to get the gas stove then that new company can clean it. She also said that my posting on social media would have no affect on them as they do well enough without me and "go have it". She said it's now June and the cleaning was in February. So she doesn't know why I am calling now. Well Kelly, how often do I go take my wood stove from the brick hearth and look in the damn chimney. Had I not been replacing this stove I would have never known the condition of this chimney or that it was not cleaned. this is a potential house fire. The next day a saturday mind you he is texting my mother and me and demanding cash that day and threatening to charge us an extra thousand just because he drove up there along with threatenig to go back to my house and start tearing down stuff he had built. Claiming oh he needs to pay people people and he doesnt like gettig jerked around. This man was well aware my father was in the hospital and not doing well and my mother was with him. He can take monthes and monthes to not finish a single room but we come 1 day late with a payment and the world has to end.
