A technician came out and inspected it. He said he needed to turn water off to the whole house but probably would run into a problem with the shut off valve, and recommended that be replaced also. The total bill was going to be almost $1000. I wanted to think about it so paid him $85 for a service call and told him I would get back to him in a few days. In the meantime I spoke with a friend who has some plumbing knowledge and he told me how to make the repair. I didn't need to shut off the water at all. It cost me less than $6 and took about 5 minutes. I definitely feel I this technician was trying to swindle me. I called the owner and asked to speak with him to give him a chance to rectify the situation, but after leaving a message because he wasn't available never got a return call. I would avoid these people because now I sincerely questioned their honesty and/or competency.

On August 20, 2025 Mr. Quik came out for our annual HVAC inspection and confirmed what we knew this…read moretime last year, that we would need a new AC unit. Close inspection was done and followed up by one of their trusted advisors whom we've come to know over the years. Our new system was installed the very next day. The two guys who came out were thorough, neat and complete. One was inside for the breakdown, while his partner was outside preparing for the transition of the unit with removal, new pad and ultimately seating the new unit. They had it all up and running within about 4.5hrs. They cleaned up after themselves, explained everything to me and were on their way. We couldn't be more happier and can tell the difference between the old unit and the new one, complete with a new Ecobee thermostat. We've been using Mr. Quik for about 8yrs now and have been completely satisfied with the service, preventative maintenance and sales when it's been warranted.

We asked for 4 quotes... one for a tankless water heater plus a water softener....$19,316! The next was for a 50 gallon tank water heater with a 10 year warranty plus a water softener....$13 , 023. The next quote was for a 50 gallon water heater with a 6 year warranty plus a water softener....$12,083. To have just a 50 gallon water heater with a 6 year warranty no water softener was $4500! Today we had another company come out and Mr. Quick was at least double the price of the company that came out today on all of the quotes! plus we had used the other company numerous times and have always been happy with their prices and service. The only reason we called Mr. Quick to begin with was that they had installed our old water heater 10 years ago. DO NOT trust their pricing ! They are at least double other reputable companies! AGAIN... OUTRAGEOUS PRICING! BEWARE !!!! They got a 1 star review because I couldn't give them anything less to post this review!
