Every staff member has been pleasant and helpful both in person and on the phone. Each detail of care was personalized to our teen. I trust Dr Fulcher and appreciate his outstanding crew. I know he treats his employees well because many of them have been there for years in the double digits. The office is clean and nice. We've never felt rushed and we've always felt appreciated. I didn't give them 5 stars because, while the care has been great for me and my 5 kids (we go there for cleanings and the occasional cavity), I had one issue with the dentist. He suggested some work on my teeth that that added up to a couple thousand, I felt wasn't necessary right now and the dental work added up to a couple thousand, --it was mostly cosmetic stuff that my insurance wouldn't cover and would cost a lot. My biggest problem was with the orthodontist. They have one there on Mondays and Thursdays. My son needed braces, and they recommended him, so I assumed they took our insurance since it's the same office. But they don't, and now I'm stuck paying for the braces for around 5 years. I wish they had made it clear that the insurance wouldn't cover anything before we went ahead. They said they would check with my insurance but to fill out paper work to apply for a credit card they offer just in case. They kept saying my insurance had not gotten back to them when I got my first payment bill from the C.C. then my second and finally they came back and said my insurance would not cover it but this time it was to late and yes I have tried to appeal it through the credit card company and my insurance and there has been no resolution both sides say they can't do anything for us. We're not wealthy--we're actually living paycheck to paycheck. If I had known, I would have looked for an orthodontist who did take our insurance. It felt like they didn't really care about our financial situation and were more focused on making a sale. I think doctors should care about their patients' needs, not just their own profits. It felt like they weren't worried about whether I could afford the braces or even pay my rent. I wish they had more empathy and thought about what's best for their patients, not just their own pockets.

I had braces when I was a kid and they were done by Dr. Nirenblatt. My oldest son's braces were…read morealso done by Dr. Nirenblatt. When I became an adult, I was cursed with the need for crowns. I had asked my dentist on several occasions when I could get my retainer remade and she would always tell me "soon," but it never happened. "Soon" never came and my teeth shifted. Here I am now and I've found myself in braces again. This time I've chosen to do Dr. Nirenblatt's version of Invisalign. I've had them since October 2019 and it's January 2020. I can already tell that my teeth have moved to where I want them to be, but the science of it is showing I have a little bit more time to go before I can go back to a retainer. I'm okay with this because the N-liners have been great. You can't even tell I'm wearing them unless you're looking for them or you pay that close attention to teeth. When I first started with the N-liners, Lauren did a wonderful job of coordinating things with me and answering my many questions. Dr. Nirenblatt was even in touch with me when he found out I was having trouble with the N-liners in the very beginning. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. I'd refer anyone looking to get braces to Dr. Nirenblatt.
