Parking is readily available on the streets that surround the lake. The wide sidewalk that has been redone is much more spacious for getting a run or walk in at lunch time, or in the evening after work. There are plenty of park benches surrounding the lake as well. There is not a bad view in the house! The Moultrie Playground sits next to a high rise building that is currently being "renovated" we'll say. They have tarps hanging on the building to stop any flying debris, so things are still open around it. There is a tennis court if you need a place to play. You can try out your remote control boats in the lake and they even have a race at least yearly. During the holidays, they light a Christmas tree in the middle of the lake, with a lighting ceremony that you can take part in if interested. If you find yourself downtown with a few extra minutes, this is a great place to spend them. Soak up some sun rays or have a picnic lunch.
