Let me start by saying I have always been somewhat apprehensive regarding chiropractic care. I have visited chiropractors in the past and always felt that they were pushing services and bi weekly visits on me. About a year ago I threw out my back out doing manual labor at my house. It was by far the most excruciating pain I have ever had. I Immediately went to my doctor and received painkillers etc. however nothing provided relief. I've suffered from migraines and numb arms for nearly 5 years. I've visited multiple chiropractors and was getting very frustrated at the cookie cutter treatments they all offered. I called Charlestown Chiropractic and asked A LOT of questions about what treatment methodology he uses and what each session includes. I didn't want to throw money at yet another chiropractor for crap results. My first session was really effective. I explained my chronic issues and he genuinely listened. He politely educated me that I am probably misinterpreting my symptoms that my neck was the source of my pain/numbness and it was more likely my ribs being slightly out of position. I'm a professional bodyworker and very educated on the body, yet I'd never heard of rib heads being out of place causing referring neck pain and numb extremities. After Dr. Morgan executed a very unique rib adjustment, my migraine immediately dissipated and my numbness resolved. I am a 28 year old who has been struggling with back pain since my teens. I've seen numerous doctors who always just told me that I "carry my stress in my back", and to practice relaxation. I've been going to Dr. Morgan for over a year, and he has helped me tremendously with my back issues. Within the first month or so of regular visits, I could really feel a decrease in the amount of tension and pain in my upper back and neck, which had been a constant for years. In addition to the adjustments, he has used the roller table (amazing, trust me) and electronic stimulation machine, both of which make the effects of my visits even better. I've visited a fair number of chiropractors. No particular reason, just I drank the kool-aid at a pretty early age, and love getting the neck cracked, it can make you feel all shiny and new again. Anyway, from time to time I have to find a new chiro, and I check a few out, I pick through the crazy ones, and then stick with one who seems like a reasonable person. So recently, I found myself rather pregnant with some low back pain, my old chiro had retired, and so it was time to find someone new. My first appointment was pretty simple. Quick diagnostic. No frills. No scare tactics. He never tried to sell me colloidal silver supplements or convince me that my spine was in a state of rapid degeneration. He didn't try to put me on some crazy plan of endless visits, insist upon an x-ray or lecture me on proper typing posture. Rather, he got straight to the point. It was a little more targeted that I'm accustomed to, but my back pain went away, and I've had a mostly great feeling pregnancy, so no complaints. At the same time that I started visiting, my wife had decided to renew her lifelong quest to solve her mystery headaches. They're pretty awful, completely debilitating, unresponsive to treatment, etc. Her symptoms are more than this, but you know, this review is already too long. She's worked on this before, but has had no success with doctors and specialists. So, I ran her symptoms by the chiro, and he was like, "it's a rib." Well, that sounds crazy, but whether it was crazy or not, I figured an adjustment couldn't hurt. So, I convinced her to try it out (being covered by insurance went a long way in persuading her), and sure enough he popped a rib back in place, and, aside from a bit of soreness by the rib, she felt much better and her headache began to improve. We are both extremely happy to finally have a successful way to treat her headaches, particularly since I'm sure in the very near future we will have a brand new, adorable, itty-bitty headache maker. read more

I was experiencing horrendous pain throughout my left shoulder, neck and skull, followed by sharp headaches. I went to my PCP and a Neurologist, who both dismissed my pain as muscle tenseness and migraines, then prescribed me a medication that did not solve the problem. I am not even 30 but felt like I was having a heart attack or a stroke. Dr. Morgan identified and fixed the problem in less than five minutes. I couldn't believe it. Before I saw him, I felt like I couldn't breath or go more than an hour without an headache for over a week -- now I feel completely renewed! Not only did he work out some much needed kinks he began realigning my body AND he explained to me WHY and HOW it happened and what he was doing/will do to fix it. I began seeing Dr. Morgan for migraines about eight years ago. At that time I was having debilitating pain that would cause me to leave work and was impacting my life and family. After only a few visits my migraines decreased, I stopped taking medication and have only suffered one or two migraines since. This was amazing but even more impressive was how Dr. Morgan treated and healed my children's ear infections. At the age of 2 and 4 both of my children had numerous ear infections and were looking at having tubes inserted for the second time. I brought them in for treatments and they did not need tubes again. My children are adolescents now and doing great. Dr. Morgan now treats my family on a preventative basis. Dr. Kevin Morgan is a "Miracle Worker!" While visiting my daughter in Charlestown, I threw out my back and was experiencing acute muscle spasms. She immediately called Dr. Kevin Morgan. Barely able to move, let along walk, Dr. Morgan treated me within the first 3 hours of my injury. His kind and gentle demeanor put me at ease. Due to the fact that I was in a lot of pain, he was very compassionate and understanding. Dr. Morgan warned me that this would be a slow process and look to be in excruciating pain for the next week. I returned the following day, able to walk in on my own. In fact, that weekend I walked 15 miles ! Within 3 visits I was 95% better....all due to Dr. Morgan's expertise. Just got back from my visit with Dr. Kevin Morgan. I've been using chiropractic off and on for 30 years and this was the best experience I have ever had with a Chiropractor. I would describe it as friendly, affordable and effective. I walked out of the office feeling much better with the info I needed and all of my questions answered. Dr. Morgan is as good as it gets. I've had very bad lower-back/hip problem periodically for the past three years or so. I've been prescribed anti-inflammatory medicine and muscle relaxers in the past, but have always been skeptical regarding their effectiveness, as I'd been unsure if my injuries had simply healed over time. Dr. Morgan has not only completely alleviated my back problems but has also educated me on preventing injuries and improving mobility. I continue to see him monthly for adjustments and prevention.
