My daughter has had neck pain in the last few days but it escalated around 4am this morning. She couldn't move her neck too much. So we began a search for local chiropractors who could possibly see her on an emergency basis this morning before her 10am class. We left a couple of messages on their voicemail before we took a Lyft to their office. Yelp showed their office opened at 7am. Jose, the security guard in the building was friendly as we waited patiently for a call back. The remote receptionist returned our call around 7:30am and said the earliest appt would be 8:40am. We took it and waited patiently... IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT! Colleen gave my daughter: Exam Adjustment Massage Laser red light Dry needle acupuncture ... exercises to do at home. She said that she would like to see her again in a couple of days. My daughter's neck flexibility and SMILE at the end of this appointment said it all. We left their office by 9:35am and my daughter made it to her 10am class on time! Colleen was friendly, professional, attentive, thorough, intelligent and experienced. I am so glad my daughter has a new and amazing chiropractor in Boston.

On top of that, Colleen is just an awesome human; personable, supportive, and genuinely invested in her patients' health and well-being. Highly recommend her if you're working through an injury or even just wanting to feel 100%. She truly does it ALL: alignments, dry-needling, graston, ARPwave, manual therapy... the list goes on!!

I have gone to a wide variety of skilled massage therapists (sports, deep tissue, Thai, etc.), and Michelle is the best, by far. He's only interested…read morein making money from you and once you no longer buy into his "gym membership" style plan (which I've never seen or experienced before from ANY chiropractor ever), he becomes ruthless and will treat you horribly. The bad reviews online about him are true. The yelp reviews are true. The good google reviews about his practice are from people from his practice where he advertises prizes for good reviews. He really doesn't care about helping patients unless you play into his "gym membership" type plan and spend the money he sees fit to help fund his lifestyle, including his over 1 million dollar home. His wife also works in the practice but under her maiden name as a RD. They are money hungry and all they care about is getting as much money from you as possible. Read the negative reviews they are true. Read the glassdoor reviews from his previous employees where they even talk about how insidious he is and how he talks badly about patients. He has no moral compass. He gossips about his patients and is completely fake. I paid over $2300 for about 2 months worth of therapy and after that he wanted me to continue on with a gym membership type plan where I would either pay in advance a lump sum or monthly. I only needed to come once every couple months but he didn't like that bc he couldn't get more money from me. When he reazlied I wasn't on board for his lies, he told me to find another chiropractor and didn't even refer me to one that had the spinal decompression which is what I really needed. I only came to his practice for the spinal decompression and laser as his spinal adjustments were SO quick (he barely spent the time needed on someone bc there were others waiting for adjustments). He treats it like a conveyer line. He should be reported to the chiropractic board as he is very unethical, not actually caring about someone's health, only his own pocket. I would not recommend this chiropractor to anyone - he's a terrible person. Truly not a good human. Stay clear of this practice. In addition, the massage therapist that works there Justin Wilson is absolutely horrendous. Massage Therapist Justin Wilson who works at Charles Street Chiropractic in Beacon Hill, MA is one of the most unprofessional and rude individuals I've ever met. He never showed up for an appt I had scheduled and I waited 45 mins for him which he never showed up for. He then had the audacity to lie and say he came and I wasn't there. The practice has cameras and saw he wasn't there. He began yelling at me (literally yelling at me) when the chiropractor had issued me a free massage bc he never showed for my previous appt. He was aggressive, argumentative and unprofessional. Also he gossips with the chiropractor and other staff that works at Charles Street Chriopractic about patients. Stay clear of this massage therapist!

I have a background in dance, so I have a good understanding of what feels right and where my body is lacking. He was able to address the issue and provided me with useful information on what exercises I could do at home. Where I think they could improve. I went to the chiropractor because I was dealing with knee instability and joint paint. Although I did say that one leg was feeling a bit more pressure than the other, both were struggling and could have benefit from an adjustment. My thinking was if one leg gets adjusted but both are struggling with the same issue of weight displacement, do I really benefit from one leg getting looked at, and then waiting 2-3 weeks for a follow up and have them address both then? I mean I instantly felt the pressure move from one leg to another and they were like great! We can tackle that next time. I felt like a cash cow, which evidently I don't mind, if I see positive results. The second time I went, I did a little more research and booked with Arnie Katz, a licensed massage therapist, and wow. Arnie is extremely informed and loves to ask a lot of questions. He asks about what you handle, (pressure and tension wise) which I respect, and what you want to get out of your massage. Some people love a soft touch, and want to be very relaxed. I, on the other hand, want to feel myself work through each breath. We put our bodies through so much, they can handle it. And most of the time, there's no relief like the relief that comes from being able to scrunch your shoulders and feeling no tension. I was dealing with a lot tension in my back with minimal shoulder span rotation, and the added beauty of my insecure knees, of course. Arnie did this thing with his hands, I obviously don't know what he did because I was head down, but I would describe it as hooking. With what felt like one hand slow pressing down onto my shoulder and the other in a C like shape lifting my shoulder blade. I have never, in all my life, felt a release like that. And trust me, I LIVE for a good backbend. This was on August 2nd. And I still remember how good that felt. Shortly after, quite literally 30 minutes after this massage. I got hit by a car while riding an e-bike near the Cheesecake Factory. Luckily, my body was so nimble that I got up, limped back onto the bike and went to see my phlebotomist. Fast forward to today. I missed my dentist appointment, so I called and was able to schedule a 10 am. The receptionist was communicative, I honestly wish they were a bit more informed about the specializations being offered by the practitioner who has space available in their calendar. This will allow both the person seeking help, and those providing it be better informed and understand whether they are a good fit for one another. The massage itself was good. My body was extremely tense from not being able to do much after the accident. I was dealing with this Velcro like sensation on the palm of my left foot which was making it extremely difficult to walk/flex/point. That feeling has started to diminish and for that I am very grateful. I will end with this. When the massage therapist left the room, I took a breath and eventually got up. I saw that it was barely 11, I scrunched my shoulders and unfortunately, there was no sigh of relief. I did not work for any breath, I kinda even fell asleep. I feel almost a tight pull of an elastic band on both my arms starting about 2 inches from where my massage ended. At one point, the angle in which my bent-active-arms were being massage was so low, that I thought he could be sitting. I'm not saying it was a bad massage, I'm just saying I don't feel stress free. So much so that I wrote this small chapter of a short story. I just want you to know, you did not lose a valued customer. Quite the opposite, if anything. I want to see you succeed and look into your business holistically to better understand how you can support the people who do not mind paying to be here. Cuz ur therapists are rockstars! And you gotta support them so they can support us. Okay, I should get back to work now. Hesitant but persistent, you will see me again

I had to start PT within a week of my June 2nd doctors appointment. I made an appointment at Wellness in Motion at the University Club in Boston asap. I filled out the paperwork online and was early for my appointment on June 9th. When I arrived, the person I spoke with was ALL about insurance, nothing else. Was my insurance the same, what insurance did I have, could I self-pay if they didn't take my insurance! I told him I was on Medicare and he completely dismissed me. "Oh, we do not take Medicare here." I said it was fine, that I could self-pay, no problem. I just really needed to get the PT started. "No, he said. We don't take anyone here that is on Medicare. You have to go elsewhere." So - I wasted an ENTIRE week waiting for this appointment. I now cannot get into another PT facility until June 17th, further compromising my recovery. Why did Wellness in Motion not tell me this before? How about a phone call so I didn't go all the way over there to be told to get lost? I filled out the paperwork as I was asked. I have never been treated so POORLY. I am also a member of the University Club and cannot believe we are working with such an unprofessional group of people. I had to tell my doctor that I lost a week of PT because of this and he is not pleased at ALL.
